I received a call from this number several times.  I called it back and was informed that I owed on a credit card account that was paid off in 2010.  They said they the orginal creditor turned it over to them, will after contacting the original creditor they report that they have not let me repeat that NOT Turned anything over to Brachfield and A**.  They account was paid in full and that I owed them NOTHING.  I have prove but I was told not to send anything to this address.  So I turned it over to someone else.  They need to stop calling.  I DON'T OWE THEM OR ANYONE ELSE ANY THING.  THIS IS A SHAM FOR SURE!

These people called a relatives house for me, stated that I had used them as a reference. I had not talked to these relatives to close to 10 years, and NEVER would use their names. Fishy, it sounds like a scam.

These people keep calling my parent's house and saying that I owe them a debt. I have called them and asked them what debt they are referring to, who was the original creditor, etc. I asked them to send me something in writing. This is collection agency within a law firm.  I know they do file judgements on the majority of the accounts that are placed with them.  That coming from a previous employee.  Doesnt make it right for them to be so ugly about the deal though

I got a call from this number three times, three different people with different extensions.  They called my job the first two times and now they just called my cell phone.  I think it's an old debt that they acquired from someone else.

Just got a 2nd call yesterday for the exact same number. It was Mike Carlson, and it was imparitive I call back at once, and  I cannot continue to avoid this calls !!.............oh yeah !!! ahahahahaha

I got the same message, but it came from a different phone number: 713-579-7000. And the man, who identified himself only as "Mr. Reeder," had my last name wrong--he combined my first name with my step-father's last name. And he said to call him back at 866-837-4406 x6109. He was definitely vague but trying to scare me. What a jerk. Isn't there some law against people getting cell phone numbers without permission?

Asked for a person not living here.  "Shawn Davis" said it was in his best interest to contact them as there was a legal matter tied into his name and social security number.

Just got a voice mail from my home phone.  Called it back and found out it's a collection agency.  Google this phone number and found this website.  Seems to me, there're many people got disturbed phone calls from them.  How come this company can still exist?

An attourney called me and left a message.  He talked about something concerning my case file.  Since they claim they were Lawyers, I thought they were real.  I was curious about which Law firm they were (the name of the law firm wasn't clearly stated) so I looked it up on the reverse phone search.  I found this site and boy was I mad.  Like the others, I received NO letter in the mail.  I filed a complaint with the FTC.  These low lives need to be stopped before some poor innocent soul gets ripped off!

Received a call from Brockfield Associates EDDY DEAN Ext #16089 saying it was a law firm and had a legal issue and debt for my Mother from 1988. They had her Birthday wrong, year born wrong, SS # wrong and she had not lived with me for over (5) years as she is in a nursing home and is 91.  This thing is 20 years old and was written off long ago so something is not correct with this firm from where I sit.

This call was for my mother on my cell phone.  It was J. Goodman and it was in regards to her property and gave her address.  Said she needed to reference a specific ID #.  Left this phone # with ext 6081.  Couldn't understand the name of the law office he said he was calling from so I tried to do a reverse lookup on it so that I could tell mom the name of the law firm, that is when I found this site and it now makes me curious about it. Thanks for all your inputs.

my client received calls from male identifying himself as Mr. Joaquim goodman, Brookfield & Associates, claiming to be attorneys, must pay now, et cetera
These threats violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, no one should be subject to this abuse.

Got a call from a guy at this number.  He left a message and his tone was less than pleasant.  He says i have 24 hours to respon and that this legal matter will move forward with or without me.

The same person, I believe, called again. This time she wanted my email address (which I didn't give) and was indignent when I told her I didn't have a clue as to what she was trying to set up a payment on the phone for - she said they had sent a summons through the mail two weeks ago (never received) giving my correct address & social security number (how she got these, I do not know) but it is scarey!! When she said they could reduce the amount owed (now it's $4000 - two weeks ago it was $2200) over the phone, I again asked for something in "black & white" that I did NOT know what she was referring to - she hung up on me!! How can I trace these calls? How can I report it to the BBB? Help!!

A call saying it was concerning my property and my name left on the machine left a name of Mr Goodman to call I think couldnt hear it well, along with and extention of 6081 and a ref. #  are theese guys scammers???????? When I call I got a message which says you have reached the office of broadfield or brockfield and associates.

10/27/08 Young man claimed to be calling from Rockfeld & Associates or Broadfeld and Associates (couldn't understand the name) and said there was a time sensitive matter that needed my attention and return phone call immediately.

Ms. Burkes called late evening, started with "You have $2200 owed to you from WA Mutual" - what?? She then asked if I had an account with WA Mutual in 1992 & was my last 4 digits of SS XXXX - I answered yes! THEN she said the $2200 was what I OWED from a Visa credit card issued by WA Mutual. First, I do NOT owe this amount to any credit card, and why after 16 years is it being pursued? She then explained that we could have this settled out-of-court for 5 monthly payments of $292 (only $1400) Smacks of SCAM!!!! I asked for her for something in writing and her phone number which she gave as (866) 598-9371 & questioned why all the background noise - party? (unprofessional)

I have not heard from this "scam artist" NOR do I expect too - just be very aware!!
