THIS IS A SPRINT NUMBER.  I just called it after seeing it comethru on my phone and they were calling to lt me know that I had incurrred additional charges.  I called Sprint afterwards and confirmed that.

I received a call from this number because my Sprint bill was past due. It adds up. Check your account online at Sprint.com and see if there are messages for you. You should also be receiving SMS from Sprint letting you know that your bill is now due and you should go online or call them to arrange payments.

You aren't victims of PHISHING. They don't randomly guess all Sprint numbers and call them right when their bill is due.

Keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone....I know not to answer the calls........

I keep getting calls from this number. I say hello and I hear back ground noises but no one answers. Its so frustrating and they call during peak hours so it's not free. My mom is in the hospital and I am taking care of all of her affairs so I can't "not" answer my phone.

A lot of these fake 800 and 866 numbers are so lazy that these numbers last for years. Instead of purchasing a CALL BLOCK service, I simply save to contacts as FAKE FAKE and ignore. Just be sure to warn all your less saavy friends and family that they should never answer any 800, 866, 888, etc ... especially since some of them can trigger you to reach an offshore pay-per-minute service.

Ignore any strange call and look it up on the web.

This number has been calling me repeatedly.  I sent an email to sprint and they said to contact law enforcement because it is definitely not coming from them.

The number called and I didn't pick up.  They've called before.

This is Sprint giving you a courtesy call either for:

1) Changes/updates to your Bill (whether you added or subtracted services)

2) Your bill is past due

Been getting calls from this number so like many others I googled it and got this page. They called me yesterday and I answered and told them I didn't have Sprint anymore. She responded with, "Well thanks for use to choosing Sprint." She said some other stuff but I hung up on her.

I just got a call from these people, as did my roommate (we're on a familyshare plan). They tried to talk me into "re-confirming" my account. I hung up on them and reported it to Sprint Customer Service. In the meantime, I've blacklisted them by setting my phone to silent ring whenever they call. I hope Sprint sues the **** out of them. -D

I TOO CALLED SPRINT, AS I AM HAVE THEM TOO....AND THEY SAID NOT TO GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THEM.  IF SPRINT WANTED TO SPEAK TO US, THEY SAID THEY WOULD LET US KNOW VIA SNAIL MAIL, OR SEND OUR PHONES A TEXT MESSAGE TO CONTACT A SPRINT REP AND THE # TO CALL FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, WHICH IS ON OUR BILLS!!!!!!!

I got a call from this number everyday. I finally found you guys. After I read all the comments, I contact Sprint and ask them not to call me again for this subject. They said YES. They'll not call me again, I hope.

Keep receiving calls from this number, and i lost my temper a little with her....oh well. It's a scam number, Sprint confirmed it.

They just called me too -- I am at work -- so I didn't answer.  I am glad that I didn't!!  I will just not answer it next time either.  You just can never be too safe anymore.  I figure if it really is Sprint calling they wouldn't need to ask for my account number or account info...

Just got a call from this # and googled it also. I am glad that I did because I would have answered thinking there was an issue with my bill or plan. Thanks for the info...next time they call they are getting a piece of my italian attitude! Thanks all!!

This number has called me twice now and so I googled the number and came up with these postings. I work for an organization that investigates fraud. You bet I am gonna report this! Thanks to all who have posted their findings!!

Got this call today and no message was left on my phone.  I always check online for numbers I dont know calling me.  Glad to know this one is bogus.

I get this number calling me like 10 times a day!! ITS ANNOYING!! Whenever a REAL Sprint rep calls me, Im alwasy left a message. This number doesnt leave any messages. I called it back today, after reading this, and sure enough they told me I had overages on my phone - which I know I dont. I never ever do. I told them to stop calling me, and then I called Sprint cust service, and they filed a complaint with the Fraud department, so hopefully it will be taken care of and these idiots will stop calling me!!!

This is Sprint's customer care company (called Lee Enterprises) and they are calling you to sell you whatever.
To make this stop, call Sprint, ask for their customer care and tell them you want the telemarketers to stop. They will change your privacy settings so that you are no longer on the telemarketing list and do not want to be contacted.

These calls suck; they are annoying.  If there is an issue with my account, why won't they leave a message.  However, I just checked my account online, and everything is fine.  If this is a Sprint call center, then they are exhibiting very poor customer service.

this number has called me just about every hour on the hour..i havent actually called them back but its really wierd because there IS somethin wrong with my bill....additonal charges actually. i think every1 is right though...DONT GIVE OUT ANY INFO..if theres somethin wrong with your bill call SPRINT CUST. I have received four calls from this number in the last week...when I pciked the call nobody answer...

I get a call from this number probably twice a month. Unlike the others, there is no one there at all. Not even put on hold. Why can't Sprint chase this down. Seems it would be bad for business. Oh well, I just added the number to my address book as crap.

This person called acting as a sprint csr. They said I had 30 dollars in overages from internet usage which isnt true I have internet in my plan so theres no way. They said they had all my account info in front of them but need my info to get further into my account but... well you know she had just told me she had all my info sitting infront of her. Later on that night I called sprint (not that number) and they verified that that is not one of their numbers and I don't have any overages. They are reporting it to the fraud department. I also asked sprint and they said a rep would NEVER call you first off and if they did they wouldn't ask for your info. Do not give info.

I got a call from this number and they hung up when I answered.  I did reverse search and came up with this thread.  I called the number back to see what you get and it was a Sprint recording.  I am glad this thread is on here b/c I do go over my texts and might have thought they were real!

Thanks for all the info, I got a call from this number and the found this site, this number is now on my call block list (they get hung up on if they call my number and I do not care or know if they call), I downloaded the call block progam from wishsolutions.com for my Treo, the best $15 I have spent in a while.

So they called me while I was searching for <i>another</i> bogus number that'd called... and a chick asked me if I would go over a new plan with her, and I said no.
Then I called the number back, and seriously? what kind of genuine customer service not only just gives you one number to choose from, but doesn't offer spanish?
But anyways, so I pressed one, and I told the lady that my name was Sheniqua McFeifer [use it, it's fun], and that I wanted to know why she called. She said that it was a "courtesy call" because I'd "gone over my minutes" [I used 33 minutes], and I asked her for genuine info that she was from sprint, and she said that she didn't know how, accept that I should dial Star 2 on my phone.

So yeah.
Long story short. It's a bogus number.
