Thought I had rec'd a call from this number before so I answered it. It sounded like someone was chewing food with their mouth near the speaker and hung up after seveal seconds of not speaking to me. What is strange about this call is I just had my purse stolen that had my license and SS card in it. I obtained a credit report and put a warning out to all three creditors two days ago.. complete coincidence or not? Date: 10:00 am

I didn't actually get a call from this number. It's listed in the details of a fraudulent charge ($9.65) made to my BOM account. Somehow they got my checkcard number. This is associated with a business MARX that sells games, toys but no one answers when I try to call. The voice mail doesn't even identify the name of the business.

Bill Melendez called from this number, asked if he was speaking to <Name> and then said the last four digits of social are and rattled them off, then said he was recording the conversation. I said "you do not have my permission to record the call, and I have not and will not verify that you are speaking to how you say you want to speak to." he hung up.

Russel A. Davis - Davis Law Associates - Collect America. It's a collection agency. They contact us attempting to collect a debt we supposedly owe.

They keep calling even though we tell them not to. They call every half hour and wont leave a message or anything.

A pre-recorded message "This is a business call, not a sales call. It is important that you call me back at." Caller did not mention any specific person. Collection agency ?

Also got a call from this number. This is the third one and I have answered the previous 2. I have not spoken to an actual person from this number.

My parents are getting spammed by this number as well. They also do not have an account with Capitol One.

GOT FIRST CALL FROM THEM A FEW MINUTES AGO. ANSWERING MACHINE WAS ON. A RECORDED MESSAGE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT COLLECTING A DEBT FROM THE SAME LAST NAME, BUT THE WRONG FIRST NAME. JUST FOR SAFETY, I'M GOING TO GO TO THE DONOTCALL WEBSITE AND FILE A COMPLAINT.

I received several calls from the "Atty. Hecker's" Office, they are very aggressive. I was sent to them by a cash advance company. I cleared one check with them and did not have a chance to call back with another check information, they decided to try and draw the funds from by bank anyway and said I passed them a bad check. I never authorized the second withdrawl. They are calling my employer as well leaving messsages, asking me to have my Attorney to contact them.

Have been receiving calls on my cell phone and one on my home phone. Calls but does not leave a message. Was late on one bill and the phone calls have not stopped.

If you owe a debt and the debt collectors are harrassing you you can get help from the Attorney General. Check out their website for the state inwhich you live, and follow the info that states what you must do, it also states what the debt collector must do.

I picked up the phone once and they said something about being Premiere Credit and then transferred me to a woman who refused to take me off the list, asked me if I was "Angie" and then refused to tell me who she worked for. I want to jump out of a window. how depressing that they call me all the damn time. my cell battery is always running out. I can keep track of time by how many calls I get from them. oh its 8:59 pm. it must be 8:30 am. why can't they call more often when I'm getting laid. that would be lovely! they don't seem to give up. next time they call..

It is Drive Financial autodailer! It dails you when you are past due on your car payment! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one late on car payments. Maybe if gas would go down we could maybe pay our bills ontime!

they call my neighbors also and then i called them back and they will not talk to me . the guttless coward at ext.4741 says he will harass my neighbors but will not speak to me . i and my friends started calling them back like they call me if we all post what they do we can file a class action lawsuit for harassment .

they keep calling about a ex's debt. whcih has been paid i have sent in proof of this a nd they refuse to stop!!!

This caller called my home phone while I was talking on my cell phone. I didn’t have time to answer. He didn’t leave a message on my answering machine. My caller ID showed: "Wireless Caller".

I would get more information about the supposed debt you owe them. This "legit" agency has a class action suit against them for fraud. Get more information about your debt, the amount the orignating source of the debt and look further into it. Its very easy for a collector to call on a debt that has already been paid off. Take the time and make the effort to cover your rights.

CALLED REQUESTING EMPLOYMENT HISTORY OF X HUSBAND FOR LAST 12 MONTH. gAVE NO NAME OR OTHER INFO.

I finally talked to a nice person, by the name of Amy, she was nice enough to give me another toll free number to call her back on after I called the long distance number that was showing up on my caller ID. It turns out they were looking for someone with the same name as me, different address and social. Not the first time I've gotten collections calls for the other person with my name.

I get calls from telemarketer slime on my Verizon cell phone all the time. I never answer unless I recognize the number/area code and they usually don't leave any messages. I suspect that someone who was pissed at me put my number into telemarketer hell. Question is, how do I stop it short of changing my cell number?

Called my cell, answered,Lady with and accent asked for an individual with the same name but, dif. last name and date of birth I said no one has that name or is that damn old don't call this number again and hung up. She seemed to be a bit pushy but, I almost had to time warp through my cell phone and open up a can!

An Indian man called from World Zen. He said we owed a debt from 10 years ago and that they had been trying to contact us for the past 7 years. He knew my previous address, and my full name, and that the debt is with a phone company. I asked him to proved proof of our debt by mail, and he refused! He said they don't do it, and started pressuring me into paying by phone now. I hung up, but don't know what to do now. I don't even remember what company we were using back then.

I've been receiving this call as well. I can never hear the beginning of it, because it starts playing when my phone picks up to go to the message. By the time the message is over, the call is halfway through. I don't even know if they identfy themselves at the beginning, since I've never heard the beginning. "unresolved matter" is what they say. BUT: They just called my parent's house. I have no idea where they would even get their number, They're not associated with my bills in any way. That is just WRONG! Is that illegal??
