This is a company of scam artists who illegally use threats of legal action to collect against loans they have nothing to do with . If these people say you owe them money , congrats , you no longer have any legitimate debt because they assume the risk . Know the law and laugh at these idiots .

I am writing in response to this Giove Law firm which contacted my Grand children's home phone number.
It was a recording but they called twice and my ex daughter in law was not happy, and I can not blame her.
I contacted them today and they said they had investigators on the case to get info on my where abouts, well I told them there would be no more phone calls to my Grand children's house and they said they would not take any numbers off their list unless I made some kind of payment plan with them and I said absolutely not.
I wrote them a cease and desist letter and mailed it certified mail.
I would like to know how to go after these people I have read some pretty shady things about them.
Please contact me if you have any suggestions. My email is etta752000@yahoo.com

I find it very interesting that among the messages about how these people are scumbags, there are people on here telling others to pay their debts and so on.

I find it interesting, because if they were paying their debts, I really doubt they would even be on this website in the first place.  I mean, who are you to be telling anyone to pay their debts if you can't do the same?

Anyway, just recieved a call from them, saying I owe something.  I have never recieved any information in writing or otherwise.  I find it really funny, coonsidering I have NO credit cards, and the only load I currently have is for a car that I am current on.  So I KNOW I don't owe any money right now to anyone other than the place that holds my car loan.

I also look at my credit report often, and I have a very high credit rating, which is why my car loan percentage is so low.

So why would I be getting a call?  needless to say, after reading all the messages on here, I won't be calling them back.

Susan from this number has called my office and left messages saying it would be in my best interest to return the call.  Problem is, I have and asked them to respond to me in writing so I can see what it is I'm supposed to owe and to whom.  No mail, no written correspondence, No more response.  As far as I know, prefer to be in contact with my original company that I got credit with.  I was off from work for 9 months with major spinal surgery and yes some debts could not be paid but after 8 weeks of working I'm now being harrassed .. lets just say I'll pay a $1 a week or month to whoever it is until I make sure my secured depts are in line.  Most creditors understood and then there are those who want my blood since I had no money.  I owe, I pay but I will not be harrassed for the money. So Susan, thanks for calling and thank God you have a job..

Listen dumbass , bill collector's have Zero recourse for collecting debt . Only the ORIGINAL lender can make any claim against an individual who may owe funds . Get a real job and quit working for con-artists . Once you buy the debt , you own it so enjoy it , take it to luch , make sweet love to it . It must suck to work for such a lowlife company . Peace .

Nice to know that they are being heard by people who can actually do something about their abuse. Although, it would be nice if they made this mistake by calling a politician.

I also got a message from a relative who said a man by the name of "Red Staple" called from a law office regarding a case #209403. No other information was given. The message was very hard to understand. I have no idea why he would call or how he got my relative's phone number. It seemed odd that they would not just call me directly if it was legitimate. From the sound of these reports, this "law firm" sounds like some kind of con. Looks like this has been going on for way too long. Hope someone takes them to court and shuts them down.

I also received a multiple calls from these morons (866-618-5732).  From putting all you reports together, it looks like they are pulling up people who have the same last names as the person they are looking for in hope that they will eventually reach the correct person.  When you verify your last name they then ask you for the last 4 of you social.  If the last 4 you give them don't match the records of the person they are looking for, they move on to another person.  I'm not sure whether this is illegal or not but they are very aggressive and threatening.  When I told him that I have never heard of the person he was looking for, I was told that I 'was a professional thief who used credit to buy things and not pay for them.'  I promptly called him an a$$hole and hung up the phone.

they called my next door neighbor and she was really upset that a "law office" was calling her for me. I asked my neighbor how they got her phone number for me, she replied that the people from this number said I gave it to them and they had some sort of "file" on me. But for some reason they don't have my number. Who are these people? and are they for real?

Jenine from 866-618-5732 x245 called into the atty's office I work at and asked for my employer.  Said it was a Federal offense to disclose anything other than a file # to me, the paralegal/book-keeper. When I told her w/out more information he would  not be calling calling back - she became quite rude and said she would call back daily until she gets him on the phone... good luck Jenine! It is a law firm you called. Federal Offense doesn't quite stand up.  Nice try.
