I changed my banking info and forgot to tell Goodlife.  The matter is long taken care of and NOW I am getting calls from these people.  Woman left a message speaking so quickly it took several times for me to gather the info at all.  She does identify where she is calling from BUT because she is speaking so fast I had to google the phone number and read here before I could decipher what she was saying.  Says it is an "important business matter" and quotes a file #.  

I will be calling Goodlife and telling them what's what and then blocking this number.

Just heard from this number this past week. I had filled out some forms at goodlife for my free session, but I never signed the contract or gave them bank info. I checked with goodlife and no account is showing at all!
I'm forwarding it to police to let them call and investigate.

Got a letter in the mail, Haven't opened it. It's from this "law office". I was with good life as well for a year, paid my dues and completed the year. Good life put me through hell for months about cancelling so I just let the year run through. I owe back fees of 28 dollars and that's all I can think about. Yet they are treating me like I owe 28 million!!!

Just got a call from this number. Had no clue why a lawyers office was calling my house. I had to listen over and over to understand the name of the company and then google it. Thanks to this website they will not be hearing from me as goodlife is a very up reputable company!!

i got a phone call from a recording so I called back I got the answering machine right away and I had to leave a message what kind of lawyer does that and when it comes to good life fitness they can go to hell in 2 months they took 6 payments out so I went after them for the payment they are after me for the 6 payments not happening

I called the number and they say that there is no one there to take the message.  What lawyer doesn't have a receptionist.  We the parents pay for our daughters membership for goodlife so why is she being harrassed about payments.  We have had constant problems with payments to goodlife, each franchise should handle there own billing.

My son cancelled this membership and still they kept putting the payment through.  I just called the number back and I can hear in the background that this is a call center!  There has to be some recourse!

I kept getting letters from goodlife saying that they weren't able to take the money out of my account, yet I don't see how they weren't able to cause there is money in my account for them to take. then I got a letter from PJ Stephens Barristers and Solicitors, saying that I owe them $218, and if I don't make the payment within 10 days, they will put me in collections and take payments from me in other ways, so I called them and they told me that goodlife has cancelled my account, and gave me information so I can send my cheques to them.. now, I never searched the number until tonight because they keep calling me, and now im reading all of this. I have already mailed them my cheques.. now, is this a scam? has goodlife actually cancelled my account? are these people connected with goodlife? im confused.

Im having the same problem. How do u get them to stop harassing you. Can they put you in collections? It is so annoying and Goodlife is so unproffesional and Ive had enough I cancelled my membership 7 months ago and now this........HELP

yup I hear that!! I too had the same crap with trying to cancel my membership and they are total avoidance artists, all just to scam extra $$ out of yah!! Today I got the same stupid call! They can just kiuss my a$$ lol

They have called me several times from that number and always left me messages. I got so annoyed I finally called them back, and the women I spoke with told me I owe money and that Goodlife Fitness sent them a letter to contact me. First of all, they knew my first and last name and had the wrong city and address information. The women I spoke with wasn't making any sense and tried to get me to pay over the phone with my visa, I said I'd call her back.

Afterwards, I called Goodlife told them the situation and the manager I spoke with had told me they don't send any letter out to anyone and if they need to let me know about a certain balance, it would be from Goodlife and no where else. The manager at Goodlife also told me I DON'T owe any fees. I also went into Goodlife later that day to make sure because I was quite skeptical and I was showed my information and my balances and I DIDN'T OWE ANYTHING.

I called that random number back that kept calling and then I was speaking to a man at this time. He couldn't tell me where they're located and kept laughing when I would ask. This just goes to show it's a fraudulent company and they just want money or else I'm pretty sure the man wouldn't have had a issue to tell me where they are located and would not have laughed when I asked. He didn't have any answers for me when I would ask a question.

Yes they keep on calling constantly and don't leave a number. It is SOOO annoying that I'm thinking of changing my phone number. It's harassment, pure and simple. Tried to call the local Goodlife office about this, but of course, the manager is never in. So screw them.

Hi, I had one free trial session at Goodlife Fitness before signing up.They put al Lot of pressure on me to sign a contract. I was adviced  to bring my banking information to legalize  my membership.I came home,changed my mind,cos I didn't like that force. Since then I never provided my banking information and never showed up there, never used their sirvice. I have been harrased by phone calls,letters,
As I know I wasn't even in their  computer system. Finally they phoned me from 866-619-4296, told me my membership was cancelled by Goodlife Fitnes and I had to pay $147 for that,otherwise my file is going to be transferred  to the collections. My question is how it's possible to cancell what I'v never been and have never had,but still have to pay. Sounds like a racket.

I had the same problem! We tried to cancel multiple times and this number has been calling for a long time! I refuse to pay because it is so ridiculous.

Goodlife needs to provide to there clients what they say. I signed up thinking the sauna would be a good way to relax after a hard workout. The suana was never installed, when a company doesn't provide what they say. They have no grounds to harrass me on the phone weekly. It's not a liget lawyers office calling, think about it why would they pay a lawyer 100's of dollars an hour to collect a few 100 $$$$. It's called harrassment to try and scare people into paying. NOT going to work.

I went to good life once signed up and never gone back . They keep collecting money from my account until I put a stop payment, Now this guy is giving me the harrassing calls , Good life should actually give me a refund

wow. this is a joke! i tried to cancel my membership witj good life 3 times & they continued to withdraw funds from my account! i simply put a stop payment at my bank. very unprofessional company. o also tried to call them back & went to a message service. what kind if lawyer doesnt have a live receptionist? i had to listen to my message twice to understand what she was saying.
