washington mutual credit card service...i just spoke to them today

I received two calls from them today, no message. The third time they called, I answered even though I was at work, and they asked for Georgia...not me :) Like others above, they were very curt and rude and asked quite a few questions "to verify my information" They said I had a late payment, even though I didn't and I had to speak to supervisor before I was able to get that sorted out. When I asked about Georgia, the woman said they were probably referring to Joseph, my husband's name. I think they need to get some people who can speak English to talk to me. I don't want to try and decipher what is being said at the same time I'm trying to figure out what happened that they're calling me to begin with!!!!
Plus, they called my cell phone which they think is my home phone three times during the day without leaving a message...don't they realize people have jobs!!!

I did the same thing as Annoyed.....I sent my payment in as soon as I noticed I missed it.  They started calling me the DAY AFTER my payment was due and call at least 8x per day.  I only hear music when I pick up...so I stopped answering.  I want to close this account because I don't agree with how they treat people, but was warned by a Credit Guru that it would be bad for my credit to just close it....I am soooooo mad at them....but what do you do??  THEY MUST BE HARD UP FOR MONEY to treat their good customers like this!

Caller was calling in attempt to collect a debt and was very rude in doing so, forcefully asking personal information in a sarcastic manner.  I've never been treated with such disgust, by someone in customer service none the less, ever!!! I cannot believe this company allows their employees to speak like this to customers and doing so while being recorded is very distasteful.  I have been unemployed for over 8 mo's, due to the economy like many others and intend on paying back my debt as soon as I secure a job and do not deserve to be treated in this manner.

I got a call from this # they claimed to be with a bank.... it sounded strange to me.

I overlooked my washington mutual card payment last week.  I realized it the day before it was due.  I sent my payment electronically as soon as I realized my error and the calls began EARLY Friday morning at 8:15am and they've been calling 4-6 times per day on our home phone and a couple each day on our cell phone.  Out of all of the calls I've only found someone on the other end TWICE to tell them that I've made my payment electronically and our bank would send them the check and asked them to please stop calling, all other times they hung up as soon as I answered no matter what ring I picked up on.  Well, as of today(Tuesday) the calls have continued.  Hopefully they'll get their stupid payment tomorrow because they SERIOUSLY bug!!!!!

I am waiting for a pair of glasses to be ready, and these people keep calling me and screwing things up. Then they never answer or leave a message. I am pissed off!
