Got a call from this number today, but it hung up after ringing for 2 seconds. I called back, a guy answered with 'Good morning", even though it was evening and immediately put me either on hold or transferred me somewhere.
I hate when some random companies call on my cellphone. Unfortunately it happens now and then. I added my # on the National DO NOT CALL list.
1-866-660-5525 has been calling my land line several times a day for over a month now. Sometimes I catch it to see number and connect & disconnect in one movement. Never a message left. You'd think that after being rapidly disconnected they would stop calling. I do not accept call where the number is unknown to me or no name appears - EVER!!
she keeps calling at 5pm here in vancouver, on my fido phone.i know fido and most credit people have their calls recorded.sad to say that she sounds Filipino, because i'm also one.she kept saying she's a rep of the times telecom under Virgin Mobile.but never expressed that i wanted to change or anything like that. she just assumed that i want one and started asking my name, address and began being too friendly. so i kind of got the hint that saying she was new to richmond isn't part of her job description. or asking to call again and be friends im sure is a no no in business calls.when she started to ask about an official id, it gave me a BIG RED FLAG. thank God for the fyi classes i got here in immigration offices. NEVER give your SIN number. once you give it away who knows what they can do to it. if it's a bank think i can close my bank and not alot of money there, but identity theft is a big deal.after asking for my SIN and telling her i dont have it on me, the call got cut off. i know i lied, i was in my house, i just gave her an excuse to not give her that info of me.and again, same thing happened, calling at the same time at 5pm and onwards. i finally picked up the phone and decided not to take her offer, whatever offer it is.
my advice, just say no. and if possible record your calls if you think you are going to "switch or agree" with them.
This number is from a affiliate company from Virgin. They have been calling every week and usually around dinner time. 2 weeks ago I told them not to call my number again. Unfortunately, they did again tonight. Rep said she's calling from "Pimes (Pymes) Telecom" I did not want anything to do with them. I talked to supervisor and told her I wish not to be called again. I registered my # on National Do Not Call list found here: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/insnum-regnum-eng From now on, every call from this number. I will first take down calling agent's full name, time they called and record it down for CRTC. If they dare to call my number again. I will file a complaint against them.
After I blew them off in the first phone call. They called my wife's cell. It was funny how I talked to the rep and told her I've already spoken to her supervisor, I gave her supervisor's name and all the date's they've tried to call me. I asked her to leave her full name, she eventually hung up on me.
One tell tell sign is that they will ask you if you are the owner of this telephone number. Who cares. Just tell me if you are trying to sell me a service. Then the answer is "no." One # to keep handy: CRTC Complaint # 1-866-580-DNCL (1-866-580-3625) Just cite the number and I think these telemarketers will back off.
got a call, says looking for "---", ask " is this number----" then asked "how long have you had this number".
Exact same as Brittany's message from above. Women, middle age. Reported.

I just received a call from this number. Not having a call display on my corded phone by my computer, I picked up not know who was calling. I was not pleased once I was greeted with the same Asian woman that would always call "from Bell/Solo" offering me a free LG phone, though she surprised me with saying she was with Virgin Mobile and continued on with the offering of the free LG phone. It was the exact same spill as before. I simply cut her off and told her that I was not interested when I reported the calls when she was trying to scam through Bell and that I am not interested in a this scam either, that a report would be made if she was to call again from this number, followed by me hanging up.
