this company has called from 2 different numbers but left the same message.  no one answers calls to either num6

claims i owe debt to direct tv. Never had Direct tv in my life.

How can i stop this call? I do not owe any debt!!

Constant calls from Focus Receivables Management.  A little research shows they are a total scam.

Listed on many of the scam websites.  9 calls in a week.

Got a call from the number listed, says this is a call to collect a debt.  Didn't leave a name or business calling from.  This is definately a scam!

I keep receiving calls from this number frequently. I do not know why. How can can Istop this nonsense?

Bottom-feeding debt collectors seeking family member who's not lived here for over five years. Given the statute of limitations for consumer debt in this state is 3 years, any *alleged* debt (and I seriously doubt it even exists) would not be legally collectible. These maggots buy up expired debt for a pittance and then attempt to scam or bully a person into making a token payment, thus making the entire amount due & payable to the vermin. Make 'em prove the debt is legit, make them prove it is collectible, make them put it in writing. Otherwise tell them to pound sand where the sun don't shine.

Great info if accurate. Be very nice to harass these vermin as they do us. Even honest debt collectors (that *has* to be an oxymoron!) are a pretty sleazy bunch. Focus clearly would not be included in this category; the nicest thing one could say is they are bottom-feeders with dubious ethics.

They call my cell phone at least 10 times a day!!!  I do not owe any debt!!

Focus Receivables called me several times but every time I would call back, I could not get though to any representative. All that I heard were recorded messages. I don't know what to do. I've received calls from this number recently, and like some of you, they would call and not say anything but this call is intended for....and nothing. My husband pick it up and heard them say Charles Walker. I had had trouble 2 years ago with various numbers asking to collect a debt from Charles Walker...eventually i spoke to a human and got that number removed I have a new number now and am getting the calls again...this time i called back and got a person and told me that i new this was a scam and that my number better be removed from this list or i may have to take action. The woman proceed to tell me this was not a scam...did i know Charles Walker...and what was my number so it could be removed from the system... we shall see if it works...

This is focus recieveable a collection agency calling me about a legacy bank card or somthing i have told them many times i dont even know what that is and dont call back i will never pay for somthing i dont know about.I also told the collector i will be sending a cease and desist letter to stop all calls,she tried to get smart i just hung up on her,according to the fdcpa this letter doesnt have to be certified or faxed,but alot of collection agencies will act as if they havent recieved it so they can keep calling to my knowledge they have already been sent 1 calls has ceased and startd back today.In todayd enconomy they should be just leaving people alone people dont have any money,then the banks have enough nerve to be begging for tax payers money to bail them out,but what are they doing for the people ? they all can go to hell the crooks if you ask me,the only thing that matters to me is my everyday cost of living not any other misc bills.

Another dumb collection agency that does not do their homework before bombarding someone with stupid collection calls. They've been leaving messages on my land-line answering machine daily for the past several weeks.

They called and left a message, first message seemed from an automated system mentioning "this is an important business matter" and second message was from a live person just asking me to call back, mentioned my name too.

WHY ARE U CALLING A 88 YEAR OLD VERY ILL MAN ALL THE TIME????NO MORE I AM CALLING THE POLICE&THE F.C.C.  WHY DO U DO THIS????????????????????
