Yeah i got real collect phone calls from inmates before and i don't remember the message saying anything  like that, but more like you have a collect cal from ... to accept the charges press ... like any other collect calls unless they changed it.  Just got a call from that number twice ill go with the scam at this point as i do not have anyone left in my life that could be in jail right now.

6 messages within 45 minutes, and another 8 where I picked up and hung up.

This number has been calling me repetitive times and I jut answered to say wrong number.. Why would an inmate call me?

Hmmm?....I can't believe you actually POSTED THAT. I'm in Alberta so it is LONG DISTANCE and it IS a COLLECT CALL It's always the Pot calling the Kettle black. Now go look into the mirror and repeat after me..."you are an idiot. its an inmate..."

I didn't answer the call. If I don't recognize the number I don't answer it. No message was left. Call came in at 8:03 pm MST.

I got a call from this number last night, and a message was left, but when i went to listen to it, it said that a credit card was needed to retrieve it, needless to say, I did not give my cc, but was wondering if anyone else has had this?, it's never happened to me before.

Recorded message asking to press a number to accept the call along with a notice that there may be charges to you for accepting. Received the messages from this number twice and then the exact same message a third time from another number.
