Also got a call from a lady about being entered in the Dream of a Lifetime sweeptakes.  She also said something about Helena, Montana.  I didn't hear her correctly and asked if I had won tickets to Hannah Montana.  Anyways, I hung up on her.

Really annoying. They keep calling and when you try to call back to tell them to leave you alone, you get a busy signal.

The magazine subscription thing sounds right- they called (and got through) about a week ago, and I told them no thanks.

these idots keep callin and don't leave a message.  i google their number and get this web page along with others.  i'm glad i haven't been able to answer and don't think people should be allowed to call me to sell me anything or whatever they are doing.
my girlfriend had a job like that once.  there is a room full of people making calls and trying to get you to apply or buy something.  they have certain things they have to say if you say no.  they are being watched by a superior and can lose their job if they do not get a sale ect...  I would never take a job like that because i don't believe it is right, however, some people are not qualified for better jobs or jobs that pay higher or are more expendable.  There is never a reason for them to be rude, but sometimes we should have compassion for those people.  they almost always quit their job after realizing people don't like them and they get rejection hundreds of times in a day.  I really wish they wouldn't call but I try to be kind to them.  i think most people do.

I've gotten this call several times in the past. Not realizing that it was the same number, i'd answer here and there. once it said that I am a perferred credit card user and that I won a free entry in a 10 million dollar sweepstakes. Another time, I was told that i won a free subscription to my choice of magazine. once they asked for my credit card i said that i wasn't interested and hung up.

It said [No Name].. then had 1-866-724-4344.. as the number... Don't answer!

I've been receiving these calls three times daily for the past few days. Once in the morning, then the afternoon, once in the evening. Nobody ever says anything, they allow me to say "Hello?" twice before hanging up. Doesn't matter how long the pauses are between the "Hello?"s, they don't hang up till I say it twice. Little bit freaky, don't appreciate it, don't know how they got my cell number.

I have received 3 calls today on my cell, these idiots have the perception that people are dumb.They are in violation of a federal law regulated by the Federal Trade Commission. I was a manager in a call Center and I know the law they are not suppose to call on your cell phone unless you have giving permission to call. I place my cell on the do not call list. I am tired of those companies that the only thing that they want is to con the hard working people of this country for a fast ($) Buck. I want to let you all know that it is up to us to put a stop to this. I am really tired of the B s.... Do not answer those calls or agree to anything.

I got two calls today from this number. One, late morning, and the other, around 8pm. I answered both times and there was no answer. Whoever it was just hung up.  

I have had harassing phone calls in the past before but with a blocked number. My cell phone company (then Cingular) couldn't do anything w/o a phone number. I will be contacting AT&T/Cingular tomorrow.

I suggest everyone doing so and even contacting the police to file a complaint, depending on the severity of the harassment. I will not be answering my phone when they call again.

I received a call from this number two times yesterday, the first time I didn't answer and when I called back it rang busy. The second time I answered the call and the person on the other end hung up I called it back and the number rang busy. I called my cell phone provider and they were unable to give me any information about the number. Today I received a call again today from a PRIVATE number when I answered the phone someone asked me about the credit cards that I had in my possession. When I said I wasn't interested the person on the other end abruptly ended the call.

im not sure who this company is, but it sounds like whoever has our number got it from one of our credit cards. credit cards sell our information to a**holes like telemarketers. i used to work for wcp/ it's a sweepstakes thing. wcp is in bakersfield ca.. and did inbound calling during 2002. i don't know what they do now. wcp sends out post cards that read WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH YOU. we had people always ask to be taken off the mailing list. we took down the info of the caller... but, don't think it went anywhere. i doubt anything gets done. managers working for this company don't do sh*t. wcp. winners choice publications. google it.

the only way you get bothered by wcp is if you have a visa mastercard discover or american express.

at the beginning of the whole sale pitch, they confirm that you carry one by asking you if you are still a member of one of the cards. when a customer told us no, they are not a member, we would cross out their name.. i don't know if they got taken off the list (seeing that if you don't carry either credit card, then wcp wasn't able to charge you any money asap).

give it a try if you have time to kill, and a shitload of patience. answer with ... no, i never had one of those cards. sorry.

On Feb.13th I got calls from this # 4 times on my cell & they never left a msg....  though this isn't even close to being the most obnxious one I get

Received a call from this number at 9:45 this morning and no one answered.  I have been trying to call the number back multiple times since then and the line has been busy every single time.

Recieved the call from 866-724-4344 when I try to callback there is no answer.

I received this call this other day while at work at about 1 pm in the afternoon. It was a nice guy who was talking to me about magazine subscriptions and some kind of sweepstakes.  I politely told him that I was not interested and that I was at work and needed to get off of the phone.  Then I received the call again this evening at about 7:45 pm. I missed the call and didn't recognize it immediately as the call from the day before. I attempted to call it back and it only rang buys again and again.  Then at 8:45 pm the call came again. It was some guy named Chris, sounded American as I guess one can sound.  He started talking to me about some sweepstakes, but I had already read through these comments and interrupted him and informed him that I wanted to be removed from his call list and that I have no interest in doing any business with them.  He became very rude and said I hadn't even let him talk about his company.  I demanded to speak to his supervisor.  Some other kid got on the phone and was even ruder to me. I told him that all I wanted was to be removed from their call list as their hours of calls were ridiculous and I had no desire to do any business with them.  He challenged me on the phone saying..."Oh, I can have your entry then?  Really? I can have it?"
I told him to go *#@# himself as my patience had grown thin and my beer was getting warm. Anyone else? I, hopefully, will be done with these shady characters after tonight. Oh, yeah.  The first guy I spoke with tonight told me that there are many companies that use this number.  I let him know how shady that seems.  Anyone? Anyone?

I just received a call at 10:25am on February 27th.  I ignored it, and will continue to.

do not give them your credit card info, they are trying to scam people. Once you recieve this call report it to the police.

The guy was rude n talkin abt some magazine subscriptions and some kind of sweepstakes. I hung after talking to him for few minutes.

I got this call twice today, one around 10:21am and another at 7:12pm. I pick up and nobody answers.

I keep on recieving calls from this damn number along with others and this all started within the last couple of weeks.
