got a text msg stating they were from my bank and to call an 800 number. not sure if its real...any ideas

Just Called my debit card and canceled. The guy in charge of  lost and stolen cards confirmed it was a phishing scam. I had some weird transaction on my accounts today so  of course I believed it. I suggest you do the same if you had gave the automated # any info

These text messages from 36245 are Text Emails coming through AT&T SMS Gateway, if you websearch '36245 text messages' you will see numerous post's and some said it was coming from AT&T. When they called to complain AT&T said there is nothing they can do about these SCHEME TEXT EMAILS being sent through them to numerous cell phones and we're getting charged for these text emails too. Some people posted going to http://mymessages.wireless.att.com and block this 36245 SPAM TEXT EMAILS but it is not working. No surprise that AT&T is letting these SCHEME TEXT SPAM EMAILS through then cannot do anything about them either, call AT&T and make numerous complaint's maybe they will them get the hint to do something about these SCHEME SPAM TEXTS. I filed several FTC DNC complaint's with all this information too, they should be calling AT&T about this problem too because a Federal call might get AT&Ts attention on this problem.
