I just received a call from this number.  A guy with very clear, non-accented English, said that he is calling from business developement from the yellow pages and he needs to talk to the owner right now.  I asked him "which yellow pages?". He said, THE yellow pages.  I told him that there are more than three yellow pages in our area, so, which one are you.  He said, I am with THE yellow pages with the business develpement department.  I started to tell him that it was obvious that he is a scammer and that I am positive that we do not advertise with his company, when he hung up on me.  Obviously a low life scum of the earth sub human scammer. I dont know what he wanted or what he was after, but always ask questions if you are unsure of who is calling you.

I got a call from Sam from this number - same deal. It sounded like he was in a call center, and his "this is Sam, I was looking at your web site, call me back at <number>, again, that's <number>, and ask for Sam" sounded way to sales-y to be someone looking for a wedding photographer. I do hope they waste their time calling me over and over, I can screen calls all day.

Received a call from 866-743-8961.  I didn't answere and they didn't leave a message.  After reading the comments above, I don't know why they would be calling me.  I don't have a website or an internet business.

Got a VERY rude call from this number from a guy trying to sell me SEO. When I told him I was busy and didn't have time to talk, he said "Thats not gonna work with me!"

Why would I buy something from someone who bullies on the first phone call to a potential client? Carzy!

I would avoid BDI at all costs!

Got a call from Rosemary 702-835-1516.  I called back and the operator wouldn't tell me the name of the company I was calling.  She just asked what business I'm in and put me on hold.  I hung up and googled it.  Thanks but I'm already the first person listed on google when my search is put in!

Got this one today.  Same message as above, "interested in your products and services."  Thanks to this site, did not return the call.

Just got the call again, and answered it.  Told "Chad" that I had done some research on his company and knew all about their scam. I let of a 3 minute string of profane insults, and the guy was STILL trying to sell me on the scam! I couldn't believe it!  The ONLY way to get these guys off the phone is to hang up, which I did with a venomous smile on my face.

I received a call from this number and did not answer. The voice message said it was Lee, and he left a (702) area code number to call back. He said he had questions about my website...but my website is private and only for prospects who have listened to the informational call. So after googling this number and seeing all this, I will not be calling back.

Just got a call from this number and they left a voicemail. I could only hear people talking in the background (call center) but nobody left a message. I'll be ignoring this one.

I am a photographer like a few other people on this list.  Got a call from SAM at the same number.  Said he was looking at my website and had a few questions.  This is the second time I've gotten a call from SAM.  The first time was awhile ago and I made the mistake of calling him back.  It's a scam.  They'll try to sell you clicks to get you on the first page of Google.  Had he looked, he would have seen that my website already comes up on the first page of Google.  Don't bother picking up the phone if you see this number.

Got a call today from this number - BDI...dont know them......seem to be getting more of this types of call on my cell phone. How do I stop this....its annoying and disruptive

this is a scam to try get you to purchase seo services.  just delete the message.

Sounds like I was lucky and the answer service took this call for me. "Leanne" called and had questions about my site. Left the numbers 702 835 4516 as well as 8667 438961.  Rattled off these very quickly, and it took four tries to get the number down so I could research it. I won't be returning the call. She could have filled out the opt in.

I got this call as well from a SHELLY and did not call her back.  Bottom line, SEO companies can only give you advice, they cannot improve your rankings through some coding or other mechanism because Google and other search engines do not make their search engine algorithms available to anyone.  Even those who work on the algorithms only work in parts and do not know the collective whole.  So, don't waste your time giving SEO companies money.  Search for good SEO practices online yourself.

I got a call from this number and it was from Isea saying that he was looking at my web site and that was interested in my products and services. I have dont think i have a website for this, but the number he said to call him back was 702-835-1516, which is different form the one he called me from...That seems very wrong and not right....I woudl like to call just to see what i get, but dont want them to record my number and start calling me or selling it. I received this call from an online voice mail that I have.

Received a call from 866-743-8961 stating April from Yellow Pages Business Development asking "May I speak with your owner" I stated they were not available and she asked "What's his name again."  I explained I could take a message but we do not disclose that information.  She said her name was April and gave a call-back # of 702-835-1516

Got a number, saying it was Sam and he had a few questions regarding my web site. He left a different number to call back 17028351516.

As with the posts noted above, I received several calls in the past several days without a voicemail from 866-743-8961.

this company is a search engine optimizer. went through the deal with me saying they could get me on page one of google.  

after I listened, I said ok.....now google me..  I am already on page one.

Called about my Google Adwords. Told them to take me off their call list, he got rude and said he was just going to call back tomorrow. Yeah, pissing me off is going to get my business. TOTAL do***ebags!

You can tell them to stop calling, you can swear at them, you can do whatever you want but they're gonna keep calling. I've been hanging up on them and telling them to go away for a few years and it just keeps coming. Stay far, far away from these jokers. Reputable businesses are not run in this manner.

3 calls in the last 2 days. What part of "don't call me again" do these morons not understand? They're scum, pure and simply. Avoid at all costs.

I don't care what they are offering, or how good their service is... they are rude and annoying with no less than 2 calls per day from various callers identifying themselves as business development.
This is harrassment ,and an utter abuse of my business 1-800 toll free number.

Typical Scam SEO company. Deal if you want to lose money only.

These guys have called me multiple times, I have told them NO I am not interested. Keep saying that they can put my website on the first page of google. I said its already there thats how you found me. Then they said lets run through some scenarios. I said ok every scenario they run through I come up on the first page. Then they get the supervisor on the phone and he doesn't want to take NO for an answer. I hung up. Then they call back again and again.

Answered and said hello, there was a pause, I heard some background noise, then they hung up.

Just got a call from them, which seems like AGAIN.  I think they called me yesterday too.  He said her research team found my info on the internet... and I cut her off asking to remove me from their calling list AGAIN.
