Legal advice about student loan debt? You cannot have student loan debt dismissed, no bankruptcy. I did bankruptcy and it did nothing for loans. Beware.

This is the same number that is connected to some people who are running a scamm to get you to try and get out of debt.  They are not what they say.  They will however be more than happy to take your money...and keep taking your money...etc.,..but do not do anything about your debt.  Your best and only solution is to talk to your debt collectors, and make a settlement yourself with them.  If this is not working, then you are going to have to get good legal advice, from one who specializes in debt relief and bankruptcies.  dont even deal with these people at this number or any one like em.  they are nothing more than crooks.

Ridiculous. This place has been calling my place of business multiple times per day from both 866 and 325 area codes. When I answer they ask for an individual that I have never even heard of. Very, rude and wouldnt relay any information re: what company they are working for. Reached a supervisor, Jeff,  who assured me he would remove my contact number. He states he is the only "JEFF" at the company, so try asking for him (866-744-1169)  . Also, when I adv him his Employees were very rude, he seemed surprised by this and advised he would "talk" to her (JASMINE).

When you get a call from this company, it is a robo collection call.
Call Erica Caster's  direct number at (325) 942-7841. She is a supervisor for this company. Threaten to sue them if they don't remove your number from their data base.
So far, so good!

You have to consider what type of person is qualified to call people and just be rude, stupid, invasive, or just to hang up. The companies that employ them are surely not getting many results. I've never so much as have answered the phone but certainly appreciate those who have to find out and identify these unfortunate callers who can't find a reputable job.

I keep getting calls from this number asking for a certain Keith [Last Name] about every other week.  When i say who are you? they just hang up. Does anyone else get this?

I don't know who they are but they called for someone (I don't know the person) but I wonder how they got my number.  Don't answer if they call from 325-942-7826

The automated switchboard is a pain - very time consuming but be diligent - - - the people at this number can pull your debt from the collection company.
If they get enough complaints about a specific company they can and do fire that company.

These people call via computer dialing systems. The computer makes the call, when the line is answered the computer tries to locate an available "person" to handle the call. If you say hello twice and still not talking to anyone, HANG UP!   If they can't have someone ready to talk, why should you waste your time waiting on them to put their coffee down or return from a smoke break?

Don't give these or any other people personal information. IF they are truly collecting a legal debt, THEY WILL HAVE your information in hand!! They will have your name, account number(s), address, social security number and more. Give them NO INFORMATION!!

wow these people are snakes. they call asking all kinds of personal information without ever confirming who they are. they can go to hell before i give any private information of who lives at a specific phone number. rude, ignorant people they are. they called from 661-368-7109. i have no clue what they wanted because there is no way i'm going to give them personal information over the telephone when they can't even give me theirs.

The number in question is from a collection agency. I know they try to collect student loans for the IRS. The loans are sold to them to try and collect. They will tell you that they are not a collection agency, but calling to help you get your loan back on track and in good standing if they have a payment plan that will fit your needs.
That is a lie. They are hired to try and collect the money. They will stop at nothing to get it. If you do not have the money to set up payments or are unemployed or are disabled they will still harass you. The way to handle that if you owe money and cannot pay it, call the student loan place or write them and tell them your situation and also the illegal methods that this company is using. The student loan company does not want to work with collectors that are outside the law on collecting the money. I have a few numbers they have used.
1-866-744-1169 EX7839 Aaron Raymer and Larry Baker the "BOSS".  I also received a call from Account Control 1-325-224-3900 this is same place. 1-325-942-7839 is direct number to the guys. There are more numbers also. They seem to be based in Texas.

Debt collector. I answered and told them I didn't know the person they were looking for. Within hours I started getting calls from two other numbers from the 325 area code, asking for the same person. I believe all the calls are from the same company.

"We have a very important call for %yourname%. Please have him call (ECT) at 866-744-1169 during business hours at your earliest convenience. About important business matter that you're involved in with this office."

They also call from 325-942-7843, 325-224-3978 and 325-942-7842. Unfortunately for  them and me, they are calling for a person that does not live here, who has never lived here. I finally contacted a lawyer and sent a certified letter demanding that they stop. We shall see.
