Called today and I didn't pick up. However, I am familiar with this number as it appears on my call list at least weekly.

They call everyday sometimes two times day. Never leave a message.

They are a company called CBCS who claim to collect debts.  They try to get personal information out of you such as ssn and birthdate. Even after telling them that they have the wrong phone number, they continue to call.  I don't know what to do with them.  Don't call them or give them any personal information.  Also, have their number blocked if you can and you know that you don't owe any money.

Watch these guys...They called me today asking for the last four numbers of my SSN and birthdate.  They get very rude when you inquire about information..

Over and over again this company calls me asking for someone that is not me!  For the past 6 months they have called from different numbers than this one.  I have asked them to remove my number from the list and when they called back the next day, when I said I asked to be removed from the list, some guy hung up on me.  When I ask to talk so a supervisor, they hang up.  Yes, they are insolent and insisting I AM or I KNOW who they are looking for!!!  It cost me minutes every time I answer my cell when they call.  

I should call them back asking them to pay me for the time they cost me in minutes calling me over and over again!!!

Auto dialer calling from this number. It repeats a garbled name for whom they are looking and then says "if you aren't this person you should hang up, if you don't hang up then you are acknowledging you are this person etc."  Problem is, when my answering machine answers it doesn't understand who they want anymore then I do.  Since my answering machine didn't hang up on them the first time they called, it "acknowledged" I am who they are looking for and they are now calling daily with the same robo-caller.  If a human calls I guess I will refer them to my answering machine since it was the one who didn't hang up... I didn't even know it had a name...

Calls all the time. I finally just kept pressing 0 and got some guy named Matt Verbin. What a JERK! His comments were very sexual in nature and hinted toward sodomy! Said I owed him money and I was to call him v-money my new pimp until I pay him 42hundred dollars. I don't know what this is about???? Who is this Verbin and why does he harass me????

Dustin, Donahue and Erika call me all the time and give me personal information on some guy I dont know. Even his SS#. Don't wonder how identity theft is #1 anymore with these retards on the phone. They really should be in jail.

They call my number up to a dozen times aday. Looking for someone I've never heard of. And want personnel information. I' have since even unplugged my answering machine.

Today at 8:09 AM CDT, I received a call from 866 747 4324 and a female asked for Heather.  I asked ?May I ask who is calling?? and the female replied ?Velma? and then asked for Heather again.  I advised her that there was not "a Heather? here and "may I have your last name?"  She told me that I didn?t need her last name and "was Heather there?" I then asked for her supervisor and she advised me that I didn?t need her supervisor and where was Heather.  I replied ?for the second time I need to speak to your supervisor.?  She put me on hold or mute and then replied, ?We?re not going round and round and you don?t need my supervisor.?  I replied ?for the third time my I speak with your supervisor and she replied that she was not going to get her supervisor.  I again repeated ?for the fifth time may I have your supervisor, no for the fourth time my I have your supervisor and again she refused.  I replied ?for the fifth time may I have your supervisor? and she again refused and replied that she wasn?t going to take this abuse and that she would call back and then she hung up.  At no point did I raise my voice, use any abusive or offensive language in any way but I simply clearly repeated my requests that any legitimate business would accommodate.  

This is clearly a collection agency and I have tolerated the repeated calls long enough for a person who has never lived here.  I have repeatedly advised multiple companies that there is not, has never been and will never be a Heather living at this phone number.  We have owned this number for a minimum of sixteen years and as a retiree of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (SBC/at&t) with a credit score in excess of 800 I find these calls offense.  I have advised countless people that Heather does not/has never/never will live at this phone number and to please place us on the 'do not call list'. It is clear to me that a disreputable company has used irresponsible lending practices and extended credit to someone who clearly was not qualified.  I have tired of the offensive calls and it appears that I will now be paying for these bad debts, too.  I want these calls to stop and for the companies to be prosecuted who do not follow reputable and responsible lending practices and disregard the ?do not call lists?.

I will document a complaint to all available lists and then make an official complaint online to the Federal Trade Commission.  I've included the link below, it's easy to do and we could all complain and let them strangle on the government red tape.
