They have called my phone several times and asked for my information, stating that they cannot give me any information unless I give them my social or other personal information. I know it's some type of fraud because I don't owe any company money because of all my bulls are paid and I also do routine credit reports and have additional credit protection that identifies me if anything goes on my accounts. Also, one of the callers that tried to obtain information from me said she will give me part a few numbers of my address and wanted me to complete it for her; all of the numbers was wrong and I never lived at a place that included any of those numbers. This place is just trying to steal your information, and the best thing to do is to keep a close eye on your credit reports to know for sure if you owe someone. In addition, the people are extremely rude (i guess they try to follow the debt collectors stereotype guide).

Great Advice, what do you suggest for those who truly cannot pay their bills? I thought about living in my car and just keeping my laptop and cell phone that way I could see the progress as I paid the debts online and stay in touch with them on the phone. But not everyone can live in a car to pay back debt. You sound unnecessarily harsh, maybe everything went great in your life and you live now through the misery of ordinary people by spouting superior sounding garbage at them. Offer help not empty mean spirited crap. Now please tell the nice people how they can get out of debt with out having to live in a car otherwise, please shut up.

Thats all fine and good but if you get a call and no one is on the line, you hang up and they call right back and again no one is respondig how are you supposed to know if they are calling for you or a wrong number.I have had this going on now for about 3 months and never when I answer is anyone on the other line.

PERFECT thx....I am the recipient of a new phone number..Now i have gotten collection calls...All have stopped after explanation EXCEPT for one..Hmmm Guess who.....SCUM COMPANY--- ALERT SYSTEMS 866-761-2178  Boiler room operations that gets pennies on the dollar and there people are the same.....

they call me from this number and do not answer then I call for 3-4 times and kept quiet and said nothing. Annoy me and I like the upset. if all you do not call them anymore.

Have been recieving a call from auduit systems for the last wk.at numerous times.I do not owe anything to anyone.and all bills are pd up. Im on the donotcall registry. And sent a complaint to them.There a bogus company just looking to weasel money out of anyone .Dont waste your money on them.Its to hard to come by now a days

Their based out of Clearwater Florida, and their an EASY company to work with, I agree with Sara, I knew I owed a debt from a check I wrote to a casino so I got out my credit card, gave them the info and settled my debt. Once done, I never heard from them again. EASY, if you know you screwed up and you know you owe the money pay it! Ask them to make payments for you, they even called me every two weeks on the dot to have authorization to take the next payment, hey if they did it for me, I'm sure they would do it for you ...

Oh yeah, and if you say do not call here, they stop calling there, it's in the FDCPA

The company is audit systyems. They will never stop harassing even if you pay them. The owners name is Bill Horwitz He lives at 15403 Patterson rd Odessa Fl. 33556-2721  I called him and asked him to stop the harassment and he refused. I think it's time everyone told him how they feel. His Phone number is 813-920-3413. Illegal harassment to collect a debt is illegal and he needs to know that we won't put up with it.

I received a call from this number on my cell phone. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize it. They didn't leave a message. I have also recently been getting calls from another scam number. I have no overdue bills and am a responsible person. Notevenarocketscientist thinks that we wouldn't be getting calls if we paid our bills. He or she hasn't been paying attention to all the scams, ponzi schemes and other illegal and immoral things that have been perpetrated by seemingly legitimate and responsible people in our society. I wish I knew how these people got my cell phone number.

i just got a message from my father to call these folks.

i made donations to various charities to be a good person.

so, i unknowingly opened myself up to every yahoo in american

and sometimes england, india, and asia.

i live alone, so this is a form of entertainment for me to get calls.

anyway, i received so many harrassing calls...i had my phone disconnected as

the callers were boring.

so, i happened here today by doing a search for the number and audit systems.

These people are annoying and very rude.  I keep getting calls asking to speak with "Joe Self" or "do I know Joe Self".  I always ask them to carfully say that name and to think about it.  In the last call today, she was very rude and said "it's a yes or no question!".  I hung up on the B***h.

I did call back to asked to have my number removed.  The gentleman that I spoke to said that it was already removed.

response to BOB date 3 mar 2009.............if you claim these people are so nasty......common sense would tell me if someone were trying to sell me something or look for a donation they would be polite......your attitude probably had something to do with the outcome of the alleged call.

Come on, people. Do you think they want to waste their time calling you if your not the person they are looking to speak with? All you need to do is call the number back. Ask who they are looking for, and if it isn't you, let them know it's a wrong number. If you know the person, maybe you should take your anger out on your friend/family member who left you number as a contact on their account. I paid my bill from an old checking account i didn't know the bank even closed, and no more calls. WOW! Who would of though! Pay your bills. This is not a scam. Just a collection company.

I think you work for this shylock!! Or in this industry!! In my case, I relocated from europe to the states and got a new cell phone from AT+T. This agency has been calling me every month hounding me for someone I don't know. I politely tell them the person doesn't own the phone number being called and they say that they will remove the number from their list. Well this has been going on now for 9 months!! And I am getting sick of it! I think the people working in these places must be paid by the amount of calls they make in a day. They can read but obviously not write since they don't know how to cross off lists!

Said it was a business call - needed to talk to a William (who is not at this number)  I was to get ahold of him and have him call back.

I have found that there is one question that will get Audit systems to hang up on you and never call again.    ASK THE WOMAN WHAT COLOR IS HER UNDERWEAR. They wont tell you, no matter how much you beg.  They will hang up on woman as well as men if you ask.  Try it, you'll see.

Call repeatedly never leaves a message.

This phone number appears several time a week on my hone phone. Who is this?

this is audit systems...collection agency without any public information..i think out of rhode island...my bank sold a collection to them and they won't give me information to clear it...going to find a way to get information and report them for harrassing me.

I am an elderly lady with on bills to be collected,So not sure
why I am being harrassed by this collection agency. Unless they are trying to get in touch with one of my childern. Can't find out anything about them to tell them to leave me alone.

Calls my work number and then immediately my cell number. Never leaves a message. Also calls my home phone at all hours. Never identifies themselves so I don't respond.

They call my cell and home several times a day.  I get a recording that states this is not a sales call, please call them at 866-761-2178.  I have no idea who these yoyos are.

They are RUDE freaking people. I spoke to someone who said that i Willfully defrauded a company and have no intention of paying it back. i told her that wasn't the case. she starts in about how she doens't need to hear the excuses. i told her with her attitude and that comment i dind't want to talk to her. to transfer me to someone else at her company but i wouldn't talk to her any longer. she told me to Get A Lawyer and hung up on me. seriously, if you know of anything overdue that they MAY be calling about, call the other company instead, not those rude people.

Just recieved a call from these people..I am not sure who they are.  I spoke with a company that I supposedly owe a debt to, and they said not to send the money to them unless I receive a bill for it.  But the company that just called said they sent a bill out and they will not send another bill out.  I do not believe this company becuase I know I have never recieved a bill for it.  And I never have a problem with my mail.  These people are down right rude and angry.
