Just called me at work.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Got back to work after lunch. This number was on the display as a missed call. I am not calling back I get these type of calls often someone trying to sell me toner for my copiers. They don't leave a message thay don't get a call back. Simple as that.

Here is something you can try..  If they are calling your cell number.  Add the number as a contact. Then block the caller and your phone will not ring and they will go to vMail. If they really want to get a hold of you they will leave a msg.

They hang up and do not leave a msg . They call 3 x a day or nite

I just received a call from this number and I think it is a firm that does follow up calls for dealer automotive service depts - so they handle surveys for all kinds of dealers nationwide.  Mine was for a Toyota dealer in Napa CA.

I just got a couple calls with no message.

For those who have answered and been offered a car upgrade at no expense:
It's a scam.  The person calling gives the impression of being from your own dealership.  They offer an upgrade at no cost to you or a small bump in your monthly payment.  Sometimes they say that a potential buyer/ collector is really interested in your exact model, and you've been tracked and offered a too- good- to- be- true opportunity.

When you get to the dealership, you find that there has been no communication between this agency and your dealership; i.e., they have no idea about such an offer, but somehow, they're ready for you.

It's just a way to get you back in that chair discussing options and packages, when you're not even in the market for a new car.

My very first day on the new job and I get a phone call fro 866-764-4970. I CANNOT have ANY non working phone calls!

Left a message stating it was time to get my Honda serviced. I've never had my car serviced by them so I'm not sure how they'd know!

i'm in the charlotte area and started to get calls back to back about 5 days ago. i believe they're telemarketers in the car industry.  i just don't answer them but they called last night 3 times in 20 minutes. works out better if you don't answer. their system will eventually view it as a non working number and give it up.

Called number back from work phone, they never said who they were - I stated we had received a call from this phone number, and the woman said she was calling to speak to Gail________ (one of my Co-workers), when I said that I was not that person, she abruptly hung up quick (??)

Got a call on my 99 neon I sold that car in 04 and bought another Dodge.  These people are not car dealers or they would have known this.  I emailed Dahlmer Chrysler and Dodge told them about these calls and if they wanted to keep me as a lifetime customer they need to stop selling my information to anyone who has enough money to pay for a list. I am waiting for a reply and I'll let you know if it worked.

File a complain with donotcall.gov specially if receiving calls thru your cell phone.

It's a company called fresh beginnings or elead. Your dealership gives them the information about your vehicle to set you a appointment to come into the dealership.

why on God's Green Earth  would I ever buy another vehicle from Dodge after sinking $$$ into the 'worst truck ever'????
I hope they call again and I will let them know I would not sell this POS Truck to Satan..never call me again...and worse, the Dodge Dealership gave them my number..just goes to show you what scum Dodge is.

The woman lied when I asked if she was from my local Cadillac dealership.   She said yes.  Now I see it's just some sort of marketing scam and they represent many dealerships all over the country.
We don't know who they are, why should we give them information about our cars?

This is just not right. Calling my cell number all the time. Ugh. I'm even on the don't call list. I guess it doesn't work.

Telemarketer calling to ask if I wanted to upgrade from my car to a newer one.  I want to know how they had most of the information regarding my vehicle.

Answered. The person asked if he was speaking to "John." I said no and he hung up on me.

This 866 number calls sometimes twice a day.  I don't know who it is, but it is disconcerting.  They leave no messages, and when I try to trace the call, there is no answer.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Eric asking about previous performance from our car that we bought at Don Davis Chevy of Bay City, Texas.

I said, sure, I'd love to come in and talk about what I think about the piece of s*** they sold us.  I said that I had only a couple months to live and I was going to head to the dealership and take a couple of them with me.

Utter silence on the other end of the line.

I asked if I should ask for Eric or if I should just go find him myself when I got there?

The call was then disconnected.

It appears the number is a used by a marketing firm which the dealers we purchased a car from is using. Just paid off my car last year, and the basters what me to buy a new one. It's three years old and has 42,000. Not on your life freak, I got another ten years to go.

I completely agree with you,Doyle.  I have reported companies to the FCC and it doesn't do any good.  I've been on the DO NOT  CALL REGISTRY for years and still receive calls every day.  I block  everyone I  can but somehow my service will not block a toll free number.

Why should  anyone bother to place their phone number on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY?
