I keep getting this cal too. They also have my BRAND NEW land line phone. They ask for me by name (last name starts with an "E"). I don't owe anybody either. The calls started after I took out a loan for a home. I also was an Equifax credit breach victim, a Blue Cross breach victim and a victim of a government hack that obtained my information. I have all this credit monitoring and it hasn't done a lick of good that I can tell!

Here's my advice: If you are asked to verify that address, birthday or social is correct to "check" if you are the person from whom the debt is collected, what they are really doing is "phone phishing". If you tell them that ANY of your personal data is correct they can now take out credit in your name, at which point you will owe REAL debt collectors because, of course, they won't pay the accounts they open that you don't know about (with your actual name, address, birthday, etc.).

Please take the time to REPORT these scam artists to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC.gov). Do not engage these people in any way. and do not answer any of their questions. Document the names, dates and number of calls, and follow through with a complaint.

I am sick and tired of this scumb bag calling for a Searez. I am not Searez and I have done every thing I can think of to put a stop to this. From now on I am no going to answer the call from this number. It shows on my caller id. Get a life sick o !

I used Mr number on my cell and it will hang up on them before it rings on the cell phone. it works great. I don't give out information to anyone I don't know

This number just called me. I don't answer calls from people who are not on my phone list. They left no voice mail. Callers who leave no voice mails are up to no good. So it is just as well I did not pick up :)

I keep getting a call from this # 1-866-767-3643. I do not owe anyone. How do I stop them calling?

They call me at my work place over and over

This number keeps calling and when you answer no one is there.  I called them back and they said they were a collection agency - progressive management systems....told them I am not past due on any account and told them to take my number off their call list.  told them I am on DNC list and if they continued to call...i will report them.  They asked me if I knew or if my name was Elsie...told them no...and to NEVER call me again

I'm not who they are looking for either.  I wonder if my daily complaints to the do not call registry will finally pay off.

They called me a few times before I finally picked up. At first it was a prerecorded message which gave absolutely no information on who was calling or what they wanted. Then a man picked up and asked to verify some information (birthday, address - all of which were incorrect). I told him that he had the wrong information and I asked a few times what he wanted. All he said was I had to verify that the information was correct before he would tell me anything. I told him again that it was wrong and he hung up on me.
