I got the exact same scam phone call from someone name Terry Scott.

Just got the stupid call.  They said my name and address.  Terry Scott, Mr. Russell's assistant.  I won a Ford Explorer or 3 other prizes.  Not a sales call, I definitely won.  I had entered contest online or at a mall (I rarely go to malls).  They sent me stuff by mail but I never replied so this would be their final attempt to contact me.    866-288-2780.  She said 203 area code at first and then switched to 866.  Caller ID gave me the number of a hospital in NYC.  Am not in collections so going to go check my credit report now.

Got a similar message on my answering machine from a Simone McCall "Mr. Russels assistant" saying I had one a Ford Explorer or other prizes and to call 866-288-2780.  She added that it was not a sales or solicitation call.

Same type of call. Caller ID says TOLL FREE.   The woman called herself  Chelsea O'Brian.  Want you to come claim your prize at a Best Western Motel in North Salt Lake.  

I received this phone call today as well. The woman on the phone, Simone something, said I won a Dodge Durango. The number to call back was 866-288-2780. Clearly a scam. I did not, and will not, return the call.

just a heads up in the very 1st post the posting person mentioned  NCO Financial ive dealt with them before. NCO is a collection company for hospital bills.

Yeah, glad I checked as got the same call. They should shoot people who knowingly get involved in these scams.

I just got the same call.  "You won a Dodge Durango."  Then "You've qualified to win a Dodge Durango."  She told me to call Mr. Russell which I knew right away meant it was a scam because when you win a contest, as I have, they don't have a 3rd party call the winner and then tell you to call someone else to claim it.  Also, they don't usually work on Saturdays.  I also know that "Mr." or "Ms." usually means it's a collection agency with fake names to boot.  The only thing I'm going to do with 1-866-288-2780 is give it to the local authorities.

I got the same call yesterday at my home voice mail.  The person identified themselves as Melvin Holmes who was Mr. Russel's assistant.  He said that I had definitely won a Dodge DUrango or one of several other prozes and this would be their final attempt to contact me and that they had previously tried to contact by mail at my home address which they gave correctly.  He laso said that I had either entered online or at a mall.  Gave 866-288-2780 as the return phone number and claimed that it was toll-free.  Caller ID showed the phone number as 215-375-7314.  I have entered numerous drawings before but this one didn't sound right.  I couldn't see myself even wanting a free Chrysler/Dodge product.  I will not be calling unless I can find a pay-phone to use.  If I call on a phone I pay for they could be charging me a ridiculous amount like $100 per minute for the call.

I got call from Diane Foster on my answering machine telling me that I had won a 2013 Dodge Durango in a contest that I had either entered online or in a shopping center. Huh? Never did any such thing. Imagine my double confusion since my surname is also Foster. Her message addressed me by my full name. She gave me a local address that I needed to go visit to claim my prize. I had images of muggers waiting for me in a dark alley. Or worse, a time share salesperson. I deleted the message immediately.

Got this same exact SCAM call today!!!
The game is still being played...SAME Players...First call - YOU WON a Dodge Durango.
Call Mr . Russell and then Amanda calls you back and wants to send you out paperwork.
Let her and I hope there is a return address for the Attorney Generals OFFICE!!!

We got the call today from Christne Lee on behalf of Mr Russel advising we won a 2013 Dodge Durango. They said they sent paperwork in the mail that we did not return and this was
the final notice. We never entered a contest.  The caller ID was a Palmer number. They asked us to call 866-288-2780.  Glad I googled.   Obviously a scam.  Don't know how it's legal....

Got the call today, won a dodge Durango, etc.

That shortened the presentation quite a bit

Ah yes, Diane Foster left me a message as well. Then I returned the call and left a message to call me back. I can't believe it, me, I won something, WOW! The phone rang about 10 minutes later and guess who it was.....that's right, it was none other than Amanda Lewis. What a bunch of BS. I think I will go to said prize celebration (only because it's 5 minutes from my house) and give them a large dose of "What do you mean I didn't win anything & now you want me to buy a F---ing timeshare". Let'em chew on that for a while. By the way folks, the new number being used is 866-288-2780. ope this helps everyone.

Got the call today from Amanda Watts director of claims.

My caller was from Mr. Homes calling from Mr. Russel (Prize Director).  Some phone services have an option that can get caller information on calls.  

What I found was a local number made either from a home phone or a cell phone - 781-352-4536

When called - all I get was voice mail.

Guess these folks figure they would try this scam again.

From New England.  Got a call from Mr. Homes calling for Mr. Bill Russell director of the Prize Department. Claimed to have sent documents but did not receive any replies from me.  Knew my address, name, etc. (public data one could get if you pay for now a days).

The message left said I needed to call back at # 866-288-2780 to claim a 2013 Dodge Duragno and 3 other prizes.  Just for ha, ha - when I did, the voice message requested I leaave me last name, to spell it, and my phone #.  REALLY!

I don't enter contest - I believe if it's too good to be true - IT IS.... I just had to find out about this so my elderly friends and family members aren't sucked into this...

got the same msg in PC, FL. Wonder if this is one of those police stings you see on tv? I have never been arrested but the way this government is going who knows....I talked to a guy named Michal when I called back a woman answered and said he was on the other line then she asked me for my mlc number and she said that that was the wrong number.she put me on hold I asked for Michal but then she came back on the phone and said im sorry the mlc number he gave you was right ..wow that sounds funnie I could not talk to him the number he gave me was wrong then its not...sounds kinda shady to me  caller i.d. says 800-491-2598

If you do a search for the number 800-401-1639 you will find the exact same scam taking place, I've been receiving calls from this number for 3 days now, telling me I'm a winner in their contest ( a contest I never entered of course) and that there are 3 possible prizes, one possibility being a Dodge Durango, I wonder how the Dodge company feels about one of their automobiles being mentioned in all these scams? Not happy I'm willing to bet!

I was given the number 1-800-401-1639. No Google results, but I won a prize in the "Dodge Durango Sweepstakes" that I did not enter. I wonder if Dodge gave permission for them to use their trademark in their little enterprise...

They have apparently changed their phone number. I got a couple of calls today from "Amanda Lewis" saying I had won a Dodge Durango ... online contest ... blah, blah, blah.  The number she gave to call is 1-866-288-2780.

If it's a collector, I'm not sure what they would be calling about!

I too received a voice mail informing me that I had won a new Durango or one of 'three other prizes.'

I immediately knew it was scam, and did not call the #, which was 866-288-2780.

I figured it for a scam, and the first one to come to mind was the old standby:  the mark calls the number and learns later that the call was transferred overseas, and presto!  there is a whopping phone bill for this   "overseas" call.  

The marks would then call their phone provider, only to be told that it was all legal.

Yep, your phone company and mine supported such scams for years.

I received the same message as the rest of the group.  This time the caller is named Dexter Pittman, prize coordinator.  I called to see what the pitch was.  He supposedly works for a company called RNG Travel.  I cannot find any record of RNG Travel in Tallahassee or on the internet.  The address he gave for the local prize office is a Four Points Sheraton hotel.  Worst case it's a scam.  Best case it's a time share or travel sales pitch.

Just received the same call with promises of 1 of 4 prices.  Same names as others below.  Mr. Russell.  I should have check on-line before returning the call.  The message said they would call back in 15 minutes.

I got roughly the same call here in Ohio today.  The call back # for Mr. Russell is 866 288 2780. (Maybe Mr. Russell has a cousin or two with the same last name.) I.e. you aren't being pegged for stupidity just by living in FL.

Same message... won a Dodge Durango, caller identified on answering machine as Diane Foster but gave 1-866-288-2780 to call to claim the prize.  Imagine that.  You won a Dodge Durango and so did I!  We must be the two luckiest people in South Florida this week!
