No no, you all have it wrong.  The number is 866-779-7459.   :)

I called today just to see what kind of scam it was...  I aksed all sorts of probing questions - the woman on the phone HATED that!  It was funt o waste her time just like they've wasted mine.

Same message here and post stamp Phoenix, AZ with the phone number 1-866-779-7459

Obviously is a scam, some people may have fallen already, that's why they are doing it.

Need to do:  

1.  Take a copy of the letter to your local police station and report it (police might say 'just throw it away', but insist to make a report:  if a phone number was set up, then a telephone company can track it's owner, only authorities can request such information).

2.  Send a copy to your local FBI office. Since this letter is being sent from a post office (federal jurisdiction) in AZ to addresses in other states (mine is IL) this is a interstate scam.  Again, phone registries can be obtained by authorities (and the phone company may deny such request unless there is a judge order), and is the only recourse we have now.

Just DO something about it.

This is a pitch for Universal Travel deals.  You need to sit through a 90 min presentation.

Well, we've been hit by the same scam up here in Boston. Has anyone tried calling them?

I got the same letter from Phonex, AZ but another phone number 1-866-779-7459. No phone call.

I haven't received any phone calls, thankfully, but I always google a number if I don't recognize it.  

People are crazy and desperate!

just got this letter today...love the photocopied 'logo' the mail date is 19 days after the cutoff date and there is no return address anywhere on it...I am not that gullible people!!

I got the same letter today.  Clues to me that this is fake was no return address on envelope or letter.  

I really wish this was true if so we are all winners.

i've recieved the same letter with the same exact info on it.  You would think these people would google their phone # and realize the game's over. If anyone can find an address for this # please post it.

I got the same letter today from the same person and the phone number is now 966-759-4702.  Beware!

I was contacted by 866-759-4701 and the letter said the exact same thing as the others. My code was JF-40069 at the bottom.

I got one today at this same number 866-759-4702 with JD-40445 on the bottom.  New when I saw the cheap paper and phoney logo it wasn't from them.  I hope they are caugh

Also received this letter from Jacklyn Bing stating the same as everyone else.

There is a code of JD-64095 at the bottom....not sure what that means.  Obviously a scam wonder what kind of scam it is though.

Got the same letter from "Jacklyn Bing" in the mail today.  The telephone number listed in my letter was 866-764-7015.  In addition to postage, they must have spent a fortune on toll free numbers.  Has anyone contacted Jacklyn to find out what her scam is?

Holy cow, they must have mailed these out recently. Who would spend this much time and money on a scam like this. Jacklyn Bing gave me an 866-759-2549 number.

I also today received the same letter from a person name Jacklyn Bing that supposedly the vice president of US Airlines. The phone number on the letter is 1-866-759-4702.

I got the the letter also.  No return address but was stamped by a post office in Pheonix AZ

I got the same letter today as well. It was offering 2 round trip tickets to anywhere in the Continental US. The phone number on mine 1-866-779-4435. It was addressed from US Airlines.

My wife received a letter from "US Airlines". No such company. I googled the name and found only a travel agency. Offered her two round-trip airlines tickets for travel "anywhere in the Continental US from any major airport."
It was actually signed with the signer's title as "Jacklyn Bing - Vice President"
Thanks to this site, I was able to confirm this is just what I thought - a scam.
I'll be advising my wife to toss it.
