How do they contact these women? Are they given a fake phone number so it won't show on phone records? Please tell me..
me 2013-12-05 16:50:56 Unknown
I have found this phone number 866-790-6550 on our joint banking account. It is from ADMA and has this number attached to it. The charge is for $ 49.00.
Does anybody have any idea what this is? Thank you.

Yeah, it's ashleymadison.com, the site that helps sleazeball married people cheat on their spouses. Don't listen to the jerks trying to tell you it's something else. If this appears on your statement, and you know its not YOU, it's your spouse cheating on you, or at least trying to. The $19 is the monthly maintenance fee, but other charges are what you have to pay to try to contact other people.

I had forgotten about signing up on AshleyMadison.com
So when I seen the charge on my checking statement I looked up the number and found
this site and it reminded me.
P.s. I'm not married, but lonely housewives rock my world!

I believe I am a victim of CC fraud and changed my account number to stop being charged by this BOGUS scam.....unfortunately I was charged $168 in February 2013, March 2013 for $19 and twice in April for $19 each. Somebody better stop these effin losers and I will be smarter about my CC security.....

It's Ashley Madison, he bought contact credits, trying to set up a cheating connection. Good luck.

I am not this handle but it's a spoof of his handle.... Dumb a**... The site openly admits to non liability. That even means your daughter is a getting hammered by a 40 to 50 year old man. Sick isn't it? And it even assists the guys from not getting caught in the act. How? They help auto erase messages and old posts

Still Ashley Madison Data Base. Your hunny is hunting for a new hive.
Gigi 2013-03-22 13:39:41 Unknown
Yes, I tried that Ashley Madison thing briefly and they are the ones shown on my bank statement as AMDB. They are such crooks though. I had canceled and they kept on billing me for a whole year, at $20 a month though I never used their services beyond that first trial period. So, your husband has been there and has interacted with the ladies. Not to a great extent, given the amount (the charges for interacting are even more outrageous than their monthly "maintenance" charges for even not doing anything).

Found them on my husbands, found his account through his email. Just confronted, he admitted. It's Ashley Madison. Sorry
Sad to break it to you 2013-02-21 04:13:33 Unknown
Yes it is Ashley Madison, I just confirmed it my husband is doing the same...I even created a fake profile and tried to get him to meet me...and that will be when I will confront him right now he is talking to me as if I am another women...a***ole! I hope you do muster the courage.

You have been fooled then. I am single and I joined Sugardaddies.com last month on the advice of a co-worker. I had to pay $49.99 to get credits to email someone on the site, then all of a sudden $19.99 showed up on my charge card today. It is Ashley Madison. You may want to look at the site for people in your neighborhood. It may be your hubby.
Steve 2012-12-26 17:25:06 Unknown
On of the websites is Sugardaddies.com. Try that website to locate your spouse

What is the difference between 69.00 and 19.99 and 149.00? Are these hotel charges?
Maxie1 2012-10-31 21:14:42 Unknown

i need to be sure before i bust, its my boyfriend, he lives with me, were together 3 years. my kids loveee him BUT..... we had this problem before so i snoop. i call his card, i have all his information. i called and on phone chase tells you, 68 for merchant known as AMDB A DATING SERVICE. and one for 79 the SAME DAY??? one at 1040 am and one at 1254pm both same day,, but he was at work??? that was on the 19th of oct. and now 79 again on the 25th!!! 6days later. but he was at work during these charges, so what are the charges for, just credits?? i see the exact charges on these other messages. so it has to be for something specific, anyone??? i created a profile, but i cant find him?? and he home all the time. just doesnt make sense
ty 2012-10-26 10:25:36 Unknown
Thank you! I never saw the initial charge. I lost my job last week & got the last 4 months of bank statements to try to see where we can cut some expenses. The AMDB 866-7906550 DE for $19.99 comes out every month on the 9th or 10th, depending on the business day.
Ellen 2012-09-22 22:09:29 Unknown
Yes, apparently only men are charged. People are paid to go on the internet and try to make it look like they debunked these charges, but yes, it is AshleyMadison.com. Just pretend you are a male, create an account, do a small charge for the service - and wait to see your credit card bill. Doesn't take a IT director to figure that out.
Ellen 2012-09-22 22:06:32 Unknown
So you work for AshleyMadison.com, searching out all such queries so you can dismiss them. What idiots to think that people aren't aware that AMBD spends a huge chunk trying to maintain the anonymity.
Ellen 2012-09-22 22:04:32 Unknown
Sorry Angie - it is AshleyMadison.com. Confronted my husband about that charge on his workplace credit card followed by charges for a local hotel anytime me and our children were out of town for the day or longer. What made you think it wasn't that website?
Allison Sheppard 2012-09-10 21:54:36 Unknown
All I have to say is if you see it on your credit card statement then you are married/dating a cheater!!!!! I just caught my husband last week by creating a profile and searching for males in my area and there it was!!!! initially I thought it was a fraud charge but when you call him by his profile name and he swallows hard then you know it is legit. I feel your pain but get out...ONCE A CHEATER ALWAYS A CHEATER!!!!!
hurt wife 2012-08-17 21:59:12 Unknown
I can verify it is Ashley Madison - at least in my case. Found the charge on bank statment, pulled up their website after reading here, sent password reset since I now have access to his email acct. Low & behold, he does have an account. Not active for several months.....but still, it sucks. :-<

Yes, my bank told me the charge from AMDB 8667906550 was from a dating/escort service. The number had a very nice operator who told me she could only speak with the cardholder. The charges were the same others reported for Ashley Madison: $68.xx on the day before my husband had gotten so drunk at a business meeting he had to stay at a hotel,...!...and $19.99 each month since.

I am being charged and I notified the authorities, That no one will answer this number and you are on hold forever so there is no way to talk with any one.
Need help 2012-05-29 00:09:25 Unknown
How did you find him? I did the same thing and couldnt find my husband. He must have used a different town, could this be possible. Also do guys only get charged when they contact someone?
Deeanne 2012-05-25 01:12:30 Unknown
It's a charge for a magazine subscription or a debit card or something like that. It's comonly used. You probably have many of the codes. Don't sweat it. I know for sure -- truely relax and don't worry.
Popo 2012-05-25 00:58:53 Unknown
Actually, folks, you are basing this on nothing! Debit card transactions use this code all the time for many purposes, and I know this firsthand having worked in a bank in the 1980's and also since I run my own merchant processor right now. Please do your homework before jumping to crazy conculsions about things. There aren't so many codes and they are often used a lot for different purposess.. These are used by many different types of businesses.
