I'll be glad when these folks are found out and put  behind bars where they belong! My online account shows that the location is Arizona. However, I believed that they're probably using a calling card and that's why it showed Arizona.  I am so tired of these scam artists! If you all have parents or neighbors or friends who are senior citizens, be sure to alert them. It's bad when it's done to anyone; but my heart goes out to the seniors.

Glad I did some research!  Same call.  I've never gotten a payday loan before so I know it would be a scam.

Scam Artists, crooks!

A total Scam!! They call from random numbers and told me to call at Nat Thompson.  This company tries to use scare methods that are ILLEGAL!!  Don't listen to them.  They claim that there are charges field against you, check with your local courts and you'll find none.  Don't give them any information at all, SCAM, Global is the name of "firm" they represent. Report this company ASAP if they call!

I received a call yesterday (7/10/12) but it was referencing my oldest son. They had the last four digits of his SSN, his email address, and an address where his father used to live. They said it was for a "pay day loan" from 2007.  Since my son is the victim of identity theft, we thought it was legit. Unfortunately, I gave my credit card information to cover the fee. Then we later found out from a friend that there have been scams of this nature. So my son googled the number and sure enough, that number was among those listed.  As a result, I've had to contact my bank and have my credit card cancelled and will be issued a new card and number.  

The amazing thing is how professional they are and their ability to get the information.  I wrote it off as a "live and learn" experience. However, I will be reporting it to Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau.

I got several calls from this number. Global saying they have a claim number. Even threatened to serve me with process papers at my place of business. They said they would do it at my place of employment so that I would be embarrased in front of everyone. Who are these people?

They called me wanting to serve papers for a legal claim over a $400 payday loan from 6 years ago that I don't even remember.

I got a call from this company saying they are "Global," they have called me via two different numbers 214-613-5019, the other number is a 618 number. I have no idea who this company is.
