Well I am NOT a debtor, I owe no one money other than student loans. And this number is calling my home phone, cell phone and place of business. I have no outstanding loans besides student loans, and have no credit cards. I have never filled out an application online or with any company. So they are calling and harassing me with my name saying they have my social security number it makes me angry.

I don't like the implication that everyone that gets these calls has defaulted on a debt in some way. The only company I owe money to is for my student loans which I just graduated college and I am paying back these loans with the payment plan they gave me and I have never been late with the payments.

get over yourself concerned citizen!  I am getting these calls too and I DON'T OWE anyone anything.  I hope they call you and I hope they harass you since you seem to think you know everything

Calling our home phone. Recorded message saying to push 1 or have your attorney call back at 866-809-6996. Just called.. They are not an Attorneys office. They won't tell you directly, but they are a collections company. Beware...Looks like a SCAM...Don't waste your time or give out your personal information.z

These guys are a joke. I'm trying to report their FRAUD online. Don't give them the time of day..

just had the same call from the same number.  They been calling for 3 days.  I ignore them.

They have been harrassing me for 2 weeks at work. All the red flags went up. Everytime I mentioned something in  writing I never got it. Always want to email. Never received it. I was advised by local police dept t put this number in and this is what I got. I will going to the authorities tomorrow. I for once in my life have done something right. Oct. 29

They've been calling for a couple of days asking for someone else.

Today got a call from them and they Left a message at our house. They also called a friend that my husband needs to call ASAP and that he is agent "John Perez" and that he was going to keep calling until we return the call. What they are doing is against the law and we are reporting them. DON"t give them any info and tell them you are reporting them as harrassing you

For the life of me I don't understand people who get upset when someone calls them over a debt they owe. If you are a debtor and you borrow money from a company, pay it back. The company was there for you when you needed the money, so why not pay it back. If you can't pay the whole balance then set up an arrangement to make partial payments. Not one time have I seen where any debtor actually wanted to pay but wasn't allowed. Instead of trying to find ways to get out of paying your bills, which is just plain irresponsible, why not actually attempt to pay back a debt that you probably are legally and morally responsible for. So stop complaining and see if you can work out an acceptable repayment option.

I too had this number calling all times of the day and night.  When I contacted them, they wont tell me anything other then I need to give them info so they can confirm who I am.  So, since I have no credit debt and don't owe anyone money, its a call that I am not owed.

Although I agree with Concerned Citizen about paying any debt owed, but anyone who knows how debt is bought and sold for pennies on the dollar.  the collection agency is most likely bought the debt for 5 to 10 percent of the actual debt, hence why they settle for a lower payment so easily, and the orginal debtor most likley filed for reimbusment from the feds to cover the debt anyway.

Since the original information on the debt owed is most likely lost or filed away someplace far, far away, they are doing nothing more than someone who is phishing for info, has the incorrect contact info, or just doesn't know they have to do everything in writing to begin with... if its a debt.

Anyway, if they call you, just tell them to send any information regarding a debt collection to your address on file as well as a copy of the original signed document and to stop calling you.  Don't give them any info since they, if you actually owe it, should have the information anyway... they will stop calling you then... it worked for me.

They keep calling my sisters home for me but I don't even live there or in the same state. I just want them to leave my family alone.

Asked for copies of all documents attached to my file for a Pay Day Loan, after being on hold for over 5 mins, and calling back twice, I was told they do not have those documents, but "nofaxingpaydayloan.com" would have it in their archive.  When looking up that address, there is nothing found.  Reporting this company to Colorado Attorney Generals Office.

This company keeps calling my house for another person. Leaves the persons account number and name and threatens legal action. I have asked these people not to call before and now they call daily...this person does not live here, this is not her number. I have had this number for 2 years....leave me alone.
