This is a scam - do not give them any information.  If this were truly Chase and they were calling you - you would not be required to provide any background information, phone numbers, addresses, etc - and specially no social security numbers or bank account information.

This number is one of many, many numbers Chase uses through their collection agencies.  This particular one goes to:

Valentine & Kebartas
15 Union Street
Lawrence, MA  01843

These people will call you from this and other numbers, (800) 731-7766, is their main number, tell you they are a law firm.  They are NOT, just another collection agency working for Chase.

If, in fact it is a bill collector, you do have the option of requesting that the calls cease and if they say they cannot comply, tell them that they are in violation of the FEDERAL FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT. I was told that that act specifically forbid harassing phone calls to home, and especially to work or cell phones.  I was also told that the Government can and will impose a $100,000 fine on large companies that persist.  I think Chase qualifies as a large company.  REPORT THEM!!!

This is some branch of Chase apparently run by Muslim extremists. They have a lot of money invested in Chase. I find it hard to believe but I'm afraid its true.

try 'Best Blacklist'  15 day trial period.  Just Google 'Best blacklist and download to your computer then to phone.  Absolutely wonderful.  There is a version from Russia ('Blacklist' with 1 day trial period) that is not quite as good as 'Best Blacklist' check out both Blacklist and Best Blacklist for your self.

Blacklist is a service for automatic calls reject depending on your rules. The rules are very easy to set up - just add contacts, contact groups or custom phone numbers to the list. You are at the meeting and can't accept calls at the moment or you want to block someone from calling you permanently - try Blacklist, it offers you an easy solution.

Blacklist Scheduler makes your phone a completely automated personal secretary. It can reject everyone except family members at night, accept only co-workers at business hours on working days, etc.

The service will do all job using really small amount of memory, system resources and absolutely transparent to user. Just configure and turn it on one time and you can forget about it and forget about all unwanted callers as well.

Features include:

•Easy to understand and configure.
•Real-time incoming number analysis.
•Reject before your phone starts ringing and disturbs you.
•Sms notifier that can send sms to rejected person if needed in order to explain your reject reason.
•Scheduler that can automatically switch rules based on time.
•Rejected calls log.
•Service based application - works in background and absolutely transparent to user

Getting 2-3 calls a day on my cell phone.  Finally answered today, woman identified herself as 'Hope' with Chase Business Services and wanted me to verify my name, which I would not do.  I told her that I wanted the harassing calls to stop, to be taken off the call list and that I was reporting them to the FCC and she laughed at me...

Then I tried to send a complaint to the FCC through their website but when I tried to sign it with name & date, it wouldn't let me continue.  (I had filled out everything on the form that I could).

So then I called the FCC with the # at the bottom of the form, gave all my info to one guy only to be told that I had the wrong number.

Got transferred to another number and gave my info again along with my complaint.  The woman didn't even know which form I was filling out, sighed and said that I could submit info directly to her.  The form she was filling out wasn't the one that I was looking at online but we started filling it out and then she had technical difficulties, put me on hold, came back after a few minutes and told me we had to start over again.

GRRRR.  If the FCC makes it this clunky to report these harassing phone calls, it's no wonder that they're hard to stop.  VERY FRUSTRATED.  The FCC needs to get its act together.

This number often calls my work phone, which I need to answer with the name of my business as well as my name, and then they hang up. If this is Chase, I've already spoken with them regarding my late payments and they should leave me alone. Next time they call, I will put them in touch with my attorney.

We received a lot of calls from this number, especially in early morning hours! We ignored it until we decided to take action today. When it rang the third time this morning, I picked it up and asked who’s calling and where she is calling from. She said she’s from Chase Card Services and wanted to speak to whoever pays bill in the household. I asked her to repeat the name of company because I was recording the phone conversation in order to report to FTC, and that’s when she hangs up. We hope she won’t call again.

The 1-866-821-9635 I have reported to the FTC. They have call my number in early mornings hours. I have asked them to take my number off their list at least ten times and they continue to call my number. Very rude people and have no respect to my request and privacy.
