Calls, asks for my name, leaves message for me to call Andy about "a personal matter"

called several times no message they must have something to hide since caller ID is blocked must be a spammer never give them your name or any information

Received a call from 866-823-1676.  Lady asks to confirm my name and address.  I asked who she was and she rambles off a company name.  I asked why she wants me to confirm my address and she said it is important information.  I asked what is the information and she will not provide it without me confirming my name and address.  I said "How about go f*** yourself"  and her responce was "Sorry to hear that but you are missing out on some important business matter and without the confirmation, she can't help me".  Lol, I really don't need what they are selling.

They have called me several times on my land line and now on my cell phone. I did not answer the call but did try calling them back. The person that answered wanted to know who called me so she could forward the call. I told her I had no idea who it was because I will never answer the call unless the company name appears on my caller ID. I told her to remove my name from all their lists. Of course that didn't happen and I continue to get calls on both phones..

I got 2 calls from them in one night

First Call: Was about free satellite tv or something to that nature. THe lady ended the call with a "Peace out" after I asked to be removed from the list.

After less than an hour I recieved a second call

Second Call: Was as Big Nate said, FCS thing is they had some of my info already. The caller was pushy about getting payment over the phone, and I told him various things.


DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR INFO TO THESE PEOPLE

After more than a month of getting calls from this number and reading up on it from this site and others, I tried to pick up and talk to someone. Most of the time all I got was dead air as though their automatic dialer wasn't working to connect me through.

Today I struck pay dirt, however.  Spoke to a Ray who had a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent.  He asked if I was "such and such" as he read my name off of a computer screen.  Their information was completely wrong. Sounded like their database was corrupted with bits of family history but not in the correct order. Told them they had my name wrong and that I never lived where they claimed.  

I told them that I had looked up information associated with this phone number and that I knew that they were some scammy operation. Ray seemed to pause on this.  I pushed for information about the company, a call back number or what they wanted.  Ray refused to give this information unless I was the person they were trying to contact. He did say the company was called FCS but wouldn't cough up any more facts.  I told them to remove my number from their call list.  My only satisfaction is that I took up to 5 minutes of Ray's time and kept him from talking to someone else.

While speaking to a coworker in a break room she got a call from this number as well.  We spoke about it and it seems that they had tried calling her earlier in the week too.  Her phone and then her daughter's phone rang a 1/2 second later.

It's clear that they're getting dialing information from public sources and that their auto dialer is calling sequentially.

It's like others have been saying.  DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION.

I have received several calls from the 866-823-1676.  They never leave a number, just hang up.  Today was the first time they left a text requesting me to call the number back.  How can I get rid of them?
