Does anybody else getting calls from this phone number?

I just got a call from this number.  Said they were collecting donations for the military.  I told them I don't make donations over the phone and hung up.

it is the latest scam !!  you work hard for your money and they feel entitled to it!! take a hike scammers!

phone call frm 866-839-9006 caller id reads Toll Free

identified himself as AC Services for armed forces

Told him we do not accept solicitations by phone due to high fraud activity, hung up. He went down protesting.

Got a call this AM & showed up as 'Toll Free'.  I answered, the man said he was from AC services for our armed forces.  I cut in, said "we don't do any financial dealing on the phone, but if you'd like to mail us something"  He hung up at that point, so I figure it's ANOTHER scam.

This 866 call from a so-called "Armed Forces" male solicitor was persistent for a $20. donation that "would go a long way" until I ended the discussion by hanging up, with the guy still making his pitch for money. Another blatant telephone scam that DO NOT CALL lists don't protect the consumer from falling victim to.
