Second cell phone call I received in the last week from this phone number - never answered either call, and a message was never left.

I was called twice today! No one ever talks ... I also am on the National do not call list. Since I use an internet phone service, it was easy for me to log on and block them. They will have to change thier number to get through now :)

total scam! When I questioned the guy and then hung up he called me about six more times.

I went to verizonwireless.com and blocked the number. Ha!

Still do not understand who these people are.......the same as all of you I keep receiving calls from this # today is the first time I was left a message which informed me that they were in fact Ford Motor Credit.........can anyone help me ?????????????

Have received calls from this number a couple times. Have never answered it. They don't leave a message

i answered the phone and noone said anything so i hung up.it said minex on the caller id.

I answered. They claimed to be Verizon Wireless. She said it was a courtesy call to talk about my account, and that it was close to going over on minutes. I explained it looked fine yesterday. The lady then said "ohh well maybe its the text messages, or pics downloads". I responded with a suspicious "O.K". She then proceeded to ask me to verify the last 4 digits of my ss#. I hung up. When I called the number back, (blocking my # with *67) someone answered and said: "(couldn't understand the first part)...headquarters, please hold".
So yeah..no automated menu greeting like Verizon would have.

Just got a call from them and there was no one there when I answered.  I called back and the woman told me the company is Minacs and that I was receiving a call for a "cellular program".  I asked her to remove me from the list.

They called three times in under one week.  I called back and requested they remove my number.  The woman on the other end said she would remove my number from the list.....we shall see if they call back.

they called my number today and let it ring 24 times...must be sad to need the $.75 I paid to *69..We should start a Verizon Charity.

who the heck are they?  I'm blocking their call.

I got a woman from that number yesterday and I answered.  It said Name unknown.  She asked for me by name. (I have a common 4 letter last name but yet she still mispronounced it!) Then she said she can get me a free phone and a discount on my monthly bill with Verizon.  She wanted me to verify my address.  I told her "You should know it because YOU called me!  I am not about to give out any info to someone who shows up as Name unknown"  She slammed the phone down on me.

This number is owned by Verizon.  They intentionally have a very long pause before they connect you to one of their telemarketers, which causes many people to use *69.  They collect $0.75 every time *69 is used.  This is a great revenue generator for them.  Can you imagine how fast they can make money if thousands of people use *69 because of their calls?

I keep getting phone calls from this number and when I answer they hang up.  Who are they and what do they want.

It's Verizon Wireless.

got two calls, about 15 minutes apart, a few weeks ago.  I just got another one.  It rang for literally one note of my ringtone and they hung up.  they have never left a message.

I missed two calls from this number yesterday and was able to answer one today.  They said they were calling on behalf of Verizon Wireless and knew my name.  She said she had some type of free phone offer for me and asked if now was a good time to talk. I said no.

Got a call again today, no message. So, I called with *67 to block but we all know 800 numbers still show your phone number, but while listening to the recording system telling me to leave  my number I receive another 'real' call from person so just left them on hold while talking to other incoming caller. Upon hanging up, I get two 'unknown' calls for I am sure the same company/person , within two minutes. Again , no message left.

No message left.  I did not answer the call.

who are these people and why are they calling me, i'm on the national do-not-call-list

I got a call from them, they left a weird message.  Sounded like breathing and heartbeat.  Kind of weird.
