Received same call as harry june 2- they left a voicemail, but it was Karen..exactly the same as Harry's. I believe that this is a scam and people should watch out. Also be aware of some of the posts/comments on this site because the favorable ones were likely posted by someone at that "company" to get people to call.

Same song, different verse.... same message, a little bit worse...  what will make this stop? I don't owe anyone anything and these calls that began as annoying are now really angering me.  Who can I report this to???

This bunch maybe spoofing numbers. I got a call this morning from the 866-847-4539. Then an hour later I got a call from a long distance call in my area code. I know Rob left me a voicemail on my cell, I don't know if it was for the first call or the local call. I don't remember seeing a voicemail on my cell after the first call but it is possible I just missed it. When I returned the call to the local number it came back as not being in service. So someone is definitely spoofing numbers.

had missed call(on cell) from this # on 6/19/09 @5:54 pm. Yeah,I'm glad I found this site too Dolomite1965.But YOU can't be for real!We are all here because of a strange call or # on our phones.A collection call is pretty straight forward.Nothing strange. IF YOU read DOLOMITE1965's post, doesn't his choice of words even sound kinda' funny? like somebody who wants you to call back and be defrauded?or maybe not.

this is a legit number, Regent asset Mgt solutions. so basically what these guys are going to do or are willing to do is that they want to settle the matter at hand by you before the attorney that is appointed goes in and finds out all your information in the court system.

I live in Vermont, and they are calling my number I do not know how they got my number and social security number because I never gave it to them. I called them up and said I can make low monthly arrangement of 25 bucks but they want more. I am unemployed, just had a surgery in June, Graduated from college in November and now I want to look for a job so I can have a substantial ammount of money coming in and pay these dang things off so they can stop harassing me.

here some advice people do not get a credit card, do not get a cell phone where you pay monthly. this is what you need to get a job with cash and pay everything in cash. this is what I am doing now, I pay everything in money order or in cash. That way it can't be traced and there is no record.

this is a legit number, regardless I would call them up and speak with them before you get sued!

the guy I talked to was Derek Browen at ext: 222

Better yet, as shady as this company is. Give them lots of rope and let them hang themselves with the FDCPA and TCPA. Then they get to pay you.

You can call them, they will usually very politely tell you that they've removed the number OR occasionally claim that you're wrong, they already removed the number (this was at 5 pm, after a 4:37 pm voicemail).  I'd like to collect some of my cell phone bill from these people.

Have worked in collections for years (not as a collector, but as a IT person), I can tell you that the only way the collection agency got this info is from the client.  If your debt is truly paid, then US Bank should be reporting that to the collection agency.  The collection agency is only going by what the client gives them.  So if they gave the a file saying you still owe the money and never updated it to say you paid, then the collection agency will still try to collect.  If the debt was paid to US Bank, then you need to contact them and have them report it to the collection agency.  And calling the collection agency back and telling them that you have already paid it to US Bank and they can verify it with them wouldnt hurt you and it should get rid of the messages.

It's an automated message, of course it's going to be the same message for everyone. I've gotten this call at 11 at night on a Friday saying that they'd be in the office all day.

I like to save the voicemails though at laugh at how they're not going to fool me.

They called me at 11pm. I called back and told them to F**ck off. Irrespective of the validity of the debt they're trying to collect, its illegal to call me at 11pm and for that reason, I am less likely to pay them anything.

I have been getting about one call a month for the last few months from this number. I have gotten to Regions Asset Management website. And I was going to try and be sneaky and find out if their calling for me or someone else. If you click on payment center, which incidentally directs you to a different website, and then click on get your pin you can put in only your phone number and if there is an legit account it should return a pin you can put in the form on the first page of the payment center. Well I went and tried getting a pin with the number they have been calling and it comes back there is no account.

This screams to me of scam. Why would they be calling if there is no account.

And if this is about a US Bank account as some of you have stated getting calls for, the only accounts I have had at US Bank were closed with 0 balance by me. If I owed US Bank they wouldn't have let me close the account.

Again this screams of scam to me.

I have also gotten several calls from Karen to call Robb Parker.  I did call back and have not heard anything since.  It has been a month and no documentation showed up in the mail.

I have also been harassed by this company.  I do not believe I owe anything, especially since they are saying that I owe it to US Bank and I still bank there!

I started receiving calls and ignored them.  Then I was fed up because they would not leave a message.  I told them to send back up documentation and they said that they had several times and that the next step was court unless I paid it all today.  What?  On a debt that I do not believe is mine, with no back up documentation showing I owe this money?  After asking for a supervisor, the supervisor said that he would see me in court if I did not pay and then hung up on me!

The number that comes up is 866-355-4539.  Look out.

Wow! I got a call today from them too and it really had me freaking out. I did have an account that was similar to this but the amounts are totally different. They asked me for more than double what the debt was and told me that they had already started an asset discovery against me and were going to garnish my wages if I didnt pay it in full immediately. I was angry and demanded answers like ... why haven't I gotten a bill? Why is it so much higher than it was 4 years ago? Why are you calling me on a bill that's been removed from my credit report and that I haven't heard hide nor hair of for those same 4 years? Everytime I asked a question "Jerry" would just ask me "so what is your address ma'am?" No way was I giving it out. I really was terrified before I read this post. Now it makes sense because another thing he said was that they had tracked me through my cell phone but my cell phone isn't registered to me or anyone that I can be linked to! The scary part was they said the last 4 digits of my cell phone number. I have to admit this one has me stumped.

Have received 2 calls from them...one two weeks ago and one today.  They won't say who they are calling for or who they want to talk to.  If you can't leave a message saying "this message is for so and so" then don't bother leaving a message.  Have also received phone calls looking for someone who lived at this address years ago...don't know how they got my number for that person..suppose to be unlisted but someone is using our address and phone number to derail creditors or something.  I won't call these people back.

ramsna is actually National Credit Adjusters same address in Denver.  The General Manager is Andrew Geffen (he has a little email form to contact him) This company is secretive about who actually runs it..I'm looking into it.  They claim they can do a job search and bank account searches (Some advice to this company be careful who you do this to)  Getting to these businesses is not that difficult -- if you know what I mean.  If you want claim its just your job - get a new job.

I got several calls from robot Karen. Read through all the comments in this thread and... called "Karen" back.
Got connected to a representative (rather quickly), gave them my phone number, asked which name they have on file. Turned out it was a wrong name. They promised to update their file...
We'll see what happens now.

so, I've received these calls all week in the AM.  Finally spoke with someone in person ... Harry?  Larry?  Anyway, he had my old address, some bank account amount from US Bank (and he doesn't like US Bank, he thinks they are not customer friendly and wants to "stick it to 'em").  Told me I could go to a US Bank and speak with the Branch Manager to find out what debt he was referring to but since I haven't had an account with US Bank EVER, he then backtracked and said it was another bank (named 3 and never got it right).  Long story short, I went up to US Bank and inquired about this debt.  Guess what... NO information at the bank under my social security number at all.  Looked it up here and see many SCAM warnings.  Only mistake, I did give my current address for a letter regarding the debt to be mailed to me... some postings warn of a lawsuit....we'll see what happens.

This company is called "Regions Asset", they're an investigative agency out of Kansas hired by attorneys to locate people's addresses so the attorney can serve them with a lawsuit.  Be careful what you say to them because there will be someone knocking at your door in a few days to serve a lawsuit.
