My health insurance company uses this number to remind me of upcoming appointments to speak with my medical counselor. Different companies appear to use it for different services.

They left a message on my cell phone saying they were from Dell with an important BIOS upgrade. I do own Dell computers but they DO NOT HAVE MY CELL NUMBER...so scram you scam.

Same number called me today & didn't leave a voicemail. From all the different stories, it looks like someone is having fun making crank calls. But since it is a toll free #, maybe not. I feel like it should be illegal to harass others like that.

this must be a call center I got a call today which said they are a 3rd party biller for an orthopedic company who provided a sling for my arm. they were giving a call to let me know my bill was in the mail

It is hard to watch my language as I am so angry abotu getting a call from these idiots, I just want to strangle these $&(*^#*$_* They call with a language of another country and expect me in a english speaking country to understand. I just want to beat the tar out of them in the worst way right now

If you get a call from this number, it may be a random auto-dialer that does not know who you are. It called my private, unlested number (which essentially nobody knows), so it's not anyone really looking for me. Ignore it.

Answer and no reply. Need this to stop. Or at least identify party calling including address and phone number I can get in touch with this party.

We have been receiving calls from Tel:  866-849-3243 at all hours of the day and night.
My caller ID shows it is a Toll Free Number, which of course it is because of the 866.
We do not appreciate these unsolicited calls and wish they would stop.

It's just a gut feeling.  I think whoever is calling is trying to convince me to run for the Presidency of the United States.

Some telemarketing agents get paid per call.  Doesn't matter whether they make a sale or not.  I worked with an agent who got promoted to manager because of his 'productivity'.  He would call a number, wait for the person to answer, then hang up.  Very productive!

Got a call from this number today at 3:27pm.
The name on the caller ID says "VOICE MESSAGING"
so I knew this was a telemarketing call and ignored it.

A pre-recorded message was left on my voicemail. It was from Dennis Galloger, the Denver City Auditor.
It was urging people to vote for Amendment 'S' in Denver in the upcoming election.

Sounds like this phone number is rented to various telemarkers.

received a call at 12:41am.  rather disturbing to receive a call in the middle of the night for what?  don't know, no one said anything!!!!!!!!  Yes, we had a hurricane the day before, but nothing going on that night.

Apparenlt the is a call center that is rented for making autimated dialing calls.

Most recently I just received a call from CL&P about hurricane preparation and possible power loss.
