i too get calls from this number and various others.  i get them at work no less.  how they got that information is a complete mystery.  now, when i see their number ringing on my work phone i pick it up and hit the phone with a letter opener - it makes quite a disturbing sound on their side and they just hang up.  i would imagine something like that being loud and annoying.  they actually don't call that often anymore since i started doing that.  other numbers to watch out for are as follows:

Today, 09-26-07 I finallly got someone to tell me the company was Woodbridge Health Care,  205 E. Main St.  Springfield, KY.  Don't know if that is true or not.

They call and I have asked to be taken off their list, that doesn't work now I'm getting calls from a unavailable number also.

lots of hang ups.  When they do answer they say they are from "The pharmacy"

I have just recently started getting multiple phone calls from this number. I don't anwser & there is never a message.

This number keeps calling my cell phone.

This # called my cell phone yesterday (missed call) & again today. When I answered, they told me about my pills being low & I needed to reorder them.  LIE!  They knew my name & my address.  When I asked what company it was, something Wood?? Then I asked where this order caem from, they said the internet & I told them I DID NOT buy any pills from the internet!  They person said, "okay..bye"  SCAM!

Multiple calls. Hang up as soon as I say hello.

7x or more a day for 6 days in a row

i get this number about 5 times a day.

These annoying calls began about 2 years ago when I purchased a precription drug from Canada because their drugs were much cheaper.  Suddenly I was getting four calls a day from different internet pharmacies trying to renew the same prescription.  Evidently the first company sold my number to other companies.  I blocked the calls from unwanted toll free numbers several times.  It wouldn't be long before a new, different pharmacy would call.  Now, when ever I get a call from a toll free caller with an 866, 786, 918, or 646 prefix I pick up the phone and press the star key for several seconds.  Pressing the *-key hasn't stopped the calls but at lease it makes me feel a tiny bit better.

Wow.  Googled this number (866-850-1431) to find out why it was coming in on my cell phone number and found this forum first thing.  Now I realize this is cell phone equivalent of phishing or spam.  How frustrating!

It could be that someone at your house did purchase perscriptions online and the companies are sharing numbers.

thanks for this site! so tired of this number and now i know who it is! I DID order prescription drugs on line and endless all day and night calls is the result. just change your number, if you can. otherwise your doomed. I did think of ONE way to have the calls not drive me as crazy: If you have the calls coming to your cell? I always "store" the number.
i have a Razr that allows you to assign certain rings to different numbers? I always set any pill company number to "silent" that way, even if they call- which they always will- I don't have to keep checking my phone. hope that helps anyone!

This number is an online pharmacy.  Tell them they are calling you on your cell phone and to never call again and as my experience has been thus far, they won't call again.  I told them I have no idea how they got my number and I have no use nor have I ever for an online pharmacy.  Stop calling!

Has anyone tried to contact the phone companies who issue these 866 numbers? I really think the federal government would be very interested in an oversee's company selling illegal drugs in America...The Homeland Security Department would be very interested in this. However this company got the info, they may be part of the scam on my credit card for 190.00 for some drug I did not order, and wells fargo processed the transaction with some relationship with PayPal. I get this call from every day, 7 dyas a week at my office. Since we got VOIP phones I have had nothing but strange calls and fax calls on my phone.

Yes, they call my cell phone almost every day and if I answer to get them to stop calling, they hang up!!!  How do we get them to stop?  Can I block this number on my cell phone?

Ok, I have been getting calls from this place daily for months, then it stops, then it starts.  Same deal as all of you - Dominican sales men trying to push weight loss medication.  So, I decided what I'm going to do is keep calling them.  The first time, I was mad, so I kept saying who are you and the man kept answering Pizza Hut.  Anyway, I wouldnt get off the phone and, apparantly, they are not allowed to "hang up"... so... after about 6-7 mins, I got disconnected, while he was in mid-speech.  So, maybe they have a limitation.  Anyway, I spent the morning calling them and just asking them personal quesitons... they really did not know how to respond.  :)  This is going to be how this is handled by me going forward, every day I'm going to call them!  From my work number, or a pay phone, or whatever I can find that is not "traceable to my phone!!!" not that it would matter....

I get multiple calls a week from this company, now I just have a pair of headphones set up on the highest volume and I put it right next to the phone's microphone and blast their ears out.  Never got any online prescriptions from them, never put my number anywhere on the net.  Not sure how they got it, but they are annoying.

Yes first they call from 800-935-3591 then if you don't answer they call from 866-850-1431.  They cannot understand English any better than they can speak it, are persistent and say I have ordered pills before and are offering medications which are illegal to sell without a prescription in the US.  They alternate between whining and bullying if given airtime and when I have picked up without saying anything I get static and am asked to hold.  I have told them not to call again or there will be consequences they will not like.  I am now going out to get a ref's whistle.

My sister tells me that this number is calling her in Connecticut a lot. I would love to know who it is. I'm pretty sure it is illegal in Connecticut to call like this.

I have received several calls from this number with the same results of the other writers.  I have stored it in my phone as "Do not answer."

I got one today, Sat. - following multiple other calls!!
He finally answered, a foreign man, he said "hello", then my name - only my first name, then "b***h" and hung up!!!
The whole time, I'm saying "hello?"  hello?

I had a brain storm.  I have call forwarding with Comcast Voice.  You can forward numbers you select to forward to another number.  I forwarded all these idiots to their own numbers and or the zoo.  LOL  I hope it works the jerks!
