1-866-866-2153 is the number that keeps calling me.

I keep getting calls from this phone number and i don't know why. They don't leave any message and i don't answer the calls but it is so annoying. I am on the do not call list and i block this number on my phone but some how they work around it and keep calling me.

Got a call and called ID said, "unknown".  It was an automated voice that said they were calling from Bank of America and said my account status had changed. They said if you are XXXX (my name) press one, if you are not XXXX press two. I thought, hmmm this is weird but they do know my name. I pressed one. The automated message then said, we want to secure your privacy. Please enter the last 4 digits of your SSI # or your billing zip code to verify this is XXXX. That's where I draw the line. No way will I give out any sort of personal information beyond my name to anyone who calls me up especially at night with an "unknown" caller ID. Don't know why B of A would be calling me but this call seemed very fishy!

I got a call the other day from 8668662153 I called them back and talked to a person and she was very adimant about talking to my wife. I just said who is this and whats the reason for the call. She really wanted to talk to my wife she was like "How do you know "him" and what is your relationship with "him"" and I replied SHE is my wife and I need to know the reason for this call. She said "do you have her last four of her social?" Again I replied "I need to know the reason for this call" She replied "well this is bank of America" My wife has an acct with Bank of America but there is no reason they would have my number, and there is no reason they would be asking the last four of her social they already have it you would think. I didnt give it out and also dont even have it memorized. I just told her well you called my cell phone there is no reason you would be calling me. then I hung up.

I got a call from them today. so I looked on here and people have said that it's to pay thier CC bill. I was really confused because I set my card up to pay automatically and I checked and it is scheduled for tomorrow but isnt due until the day after? So why are they calling me?

I got a call today, called them back and its FIA Card Services who bought out Wachovia credit cards a year or so ago. It wasnt a  collections call though, they said it was to remind me a payment was due tomorrow. But I had already set up a payment to post on time already. I didnt give any information about my account or make any payment over the phone.

I received a call from this phone number on my cell phone and they said they were card services. I don't give my cell phone to ANY credit card company nor do not have a Bank of America credit card. When I asked where they got my cell phone number, they said it was "on file"...WRONG! I asked them to quit calling and I was told they would continue to call. Any legit company would already have your information for one, and they wouldn't get hateful if you ask them to not call anymore. I typically don't answer any unknown calls on my cell phone but thought it was strange that I was receiving a call from an "800" number so I answered. Again, NO company has my cell number so how they managed to get it is beyond me. SCAM! I did call my cellular provider to give them the information so that I'm not billed any fraudulent charges. As for it being a collection agency...I've never had anything go into collections so I don't believe that info is correct. I did report the company for making harassing phone calls.

An internet search has got me nowhere. Some claim it to be B of A, while most others claim it to be a collection agency. Since the number is not part of the public domain its hard to find and address with that phone number.


Does anyone here have an address with this phone number?

My caller ID does not say it is B of A. It only says 'unavailable'. When that happens it usually means that it is a collection agency prtending to be B of A. Then again why would B of A not let themselves be known? I have also got other numbers calling out of a certian place, but along another phone number so you cant track them down. What a load of BS!

Received many calls from this number on my cell. Never picked up and no message left. Very annoying

Received a voice mail with an elctronic message stating it was Con Services (Ithink that probably speaks for itself). It instructed me that my account details have changed and I had to immediately call (800) 846-5159. I have no account with Con Services, no account with Bank of America which earlier post claim it is a BofA number. When I called (866) 866-2153, I got a recorded message that this phone is out of service. What good is being on a no call list? I am sure, I, like most people continue to get scam, or other unsolicited telemarketing calls daily. Another successful government program.

I'm getting harassed by this number and another number (757-823-6827) that also claims to be Bank of America according to some online reports. I have a credit card with B of A that has a zero balance on it and has for nearly a year. I called their regular customer service and they claim that neither number is theirs. Since the caller sometimes erroneously identifies itself as B of A it is likely a scam operation.

I started getting calls from this number a couple of days ago.  If it is Bank of America I don't have a card with them and I am also on the Do Not Call List.  ANNOYING!!!

Some of us getting these calls do not have credits cards and never have. Or any bank accounts or bills. And if they want you to pay your bill, how about not hanging up every time you answer or at least leaving a message.

Calls my cell phone hundreds of times a day!! Gets to be very annoying

After doing extensive research I was able to find out that this company is FIA Card Services formerly known as MBNA Corporation which seems to control accounts for banks such as Bank of America, Regions, and what was once Wachovia. So if you have an account with one of these companies I'm guessing an credit card you will most likely get a call from them to remind you to pay your bill, or what I am gathering to force you to commit to an over the phone payment using your bank account info with whomever you are speaking with. I don't know about you but I am not comfortable with giving my info to anyone especially over the phone. Although this company appears to be a legit outsourced, and/or internal (not sure truely which one)company. I still feel it's an active account debt collector, and the way they are practicing their business is inconsiderate. They will continue to call you even if they are informed that they have the wrong number and the wrong person. So fair warning if you are being harassed by this company make complaints against them. Even if you have an account with them harassment is still harassment. Here is what I found for their contact info.
