It's scores, they call you to confirm the order that you made online.

They have called me 3 times today on my cell phone.  There is no message, and I make it a habit now to check this site before I even to attempt to call!!  I really appreciate everyone's comments and input :)

When I get calls like this, I save their number in my cell phone.  When they call, I just flip it open and ignore them.  It annoys the heck out of them!!!!  They try yelling my name and I continue to ignore them, which at least makes me feel a little better about these obnoxious people!!!

If you have any success, please let me know. I have been bothered by these people for so long, I am ready to disconnect all my phones, however they continue to contact my husbands work,

No, it isn't legal.  Providing account default details to anyone other than ther debtor is a violation of the fair debt collection practice act.

have told them to not call my cell phone and they stopped, for a while, started again, 4, 5, 6 times a day so I answered today...........told them to cease and desist calling the number as it is a cell phone, then not 30 minutes later, they called again...........they should take a verbal cease, but insist that i must mail or fax it in writing

everyone being called from 8668695502 and is treated badly or receive calls after you request they stop calling should call THe Federal Trade Commision at 8773824357 and file a complaint.
They keep calling me looking for an X wife of ten years ago. I can't tell you how upsetting this is to my new wife of just 2 years when someone with poor english is accusing her of being the X wife.   If enough people complain a class action will start on our behalf.

They call me too. I believe they can legally call between 9am & 9pm. Or I'm just lucky?

They keep calling about my Target card. I am paying it at the store like they told me to but they keep calling. When they call they tell you to call back because it is important. THAT'S IT. So when I call them they are total bastards. I told them that I would not give my personal info out to someone not in the U.S and they flipped out. Just tell them you want to speak with someone in the States. They cannot deny that.

After getting months of phone calls from this number I decided to answer.  Rose told me she wanted to know who _______was.  So going after a third party to find a someone must be illegal.  After they told me they would take me off the computer list,  the phone calls keep coming.  I have hired a lawyer..  Anybody else want on board???????

'Rose' called me also.  She said she was calling about a delinquent Target card.  I told her I didn't have a Target card.  She asked me for my social, birthday, and address...when I wouldn't give them to her she was very rude.  I think they are identity thieves trying to get personal info so beware!!

These morons are calling me about a medical  bill that I make monthly payments on with another collections company! Same bill! I told the caller this and she proceeded to get an attitude with me in which point I asked for her manager, and she refused. I told her not to call me again and referred HER to the collections company that I am making payments through. She called me again thirty minutes later and I asked her if she called the collections company and she had the audacity to tell me that wasn't her job; her job is to make sure I pay my bill. Again, I asked for the manager and she said "no." She asked if I'd be paying by check or credit card and I said "neither, manager please." Once again I got a "no, check or credit card" response so I said "fine, please hold, you'll get your payment," and I put it some ear plugs, got out my son's little fog horn, put it to my phone and she got exactly what I owed her. Needless to say, she won't be calling me back today. ;)

Received a call at 6:08 AM from this number and woke us up. I called back the number and some lady named "Rose" answered and when I asked which company she belonged to she asked me MY ph number and when I said that she should have it since she just called ME, I then said what is the name of the company you are with?..."Rose" told me, to please hold and then hung up on me...RUDE...I don't know what company this is but I believe it is illegal to call before 8am global time...does not matter what the time is where they are calling from!

several missed calls on my cell with no messages

This number is from a collection company called National Assets.  "Stephanie" informed me when I picked up the phone that she was calling about my partner's delinquent student loans...AFTER I told her that I was not his wife.  She didn't even ask what my association with him is before she told me exactly what the personal call was dealing with...anyone know if that's even legal?

I recently got numerous calls from a number of phone numbers (inclduing this one). I did not answer the call (since the numbers are unknown) and the did not leave any message. It is so frustrating that there are about 5 such calls everyday. Anyone knows someway to stop it?

I received a call today from this phone number.  They didn't leave a message so I decided to call back.  The woman on the other end wouldn't even identify herself, and just asked how she could help me.  Well, you could start by telling me why you are bothering me!  LOL

Got a call at work for my mom who also works with me. Took a message. It was a struggle for him to give a number. He had a Jamaican accent. He said his name was William. I asked him what company he was calling with, it was a struggle to get that out of him. He finally said "NARS."

All I can hear and understand is "Susan" then a mumbled garbage and very clearly "call 866-869-5502.  Who is this and what do they want"

1-866-869-5502 is a collection agency; NARS. Other # they use is 1999999999. have called me twice at work and I will not talk with them. Told them not to call me again at work. Still do.

I have a number of calls on my answering machine stating "It is important that you call me at 1-866-869-5502".  After about 8 messages I call the number, got a foreign sounding operator who would not give me any information other than the company was NORDS (NARS).  She asked me for my telephone number which I did not give and then for my name which I also did not give.  I finally told her that this sounded like a complete scam and hung up.  I plan to report them to the FTC as I am on the do not call list.

the company is called NARS and have been calling my phone for someone named Cynthia. I was told that they would remove my cell number. I called before and had the same experiance however, the calls keep coming.

We have had the same number for 15 years and within the past 3 months we've been attacked by collection agencies looking for a variety of people - none of whom live with us.  Some callers stop calling when they discover they have the wrong number, but most keep calling, calling, calling... like this number.  I refuse to call back collection agencies, but I do answer if I'm home and state they have the wrong person, wrong number.  I don't give my information EVER.  I have reported this company to the FTC without effect.  They continue to harass me and my family at all times of day and on the weekends - so much that I now take my phone off of the hook and let them talk to voicemail.  Has anyone had any success getting them to stop????  I am not Jenny. or Patricia. or Joseph. or Roger. or Luke. or Josephine. or Jerry. or Jason. and I do NOT have ANY past due accounts!!

These people called my phone and asked for my brother I have told them not to call me anymore but they continue to. they even went as far as telling me they thought I was lying about who I was. I called the police and filed a restraining order on the company so now they call me restricted and hang up when I answer. I tagged my phone with the phone company and just recieved the information to file a law suite against the company and ms francis the collector. hopefully when all is said and done nobody will recieve a call from this company again.

This is another one of NCOs numbers. They need to be reported for harassment and threatening things they cannot do. Calling cell numbers should not be permitted. I know calling your work number is not permitted in the state of Texas if you have told them to stop calling as it could get you fired. SO STOP CALLING ME. Correspondence needs to be your only communication with me at this point in my life.

They keep asking for someone of hispanic origin (the last time was Sonia Aldenaldo) so I responded in order to get a person on the line. They said all I had to do was refuse the call. When I told them to remove me from their call list, they hung up.

These people also called me with my caller ID indicating 866-869-5502.  I ignored the first call and then called the number on my caller ID.  I spoke with a asian female sounding person.  I asked her for her manager which she refused.  After her trying to obtain my identity, I refused and insisted on talking to her manager.  She refused.  I told her I would repeatedly call back and she said that would be OK.  I told her I have all day.  I called repeatedly and ignored the H out of her.  I think this solved the problem since I tied up thier line.
