Several calls a day for "Babara Baxter." I ask them to take me off the list and they have not.

I keep getting these calls as well. I just filed a report to the FCC and the BBB.

This # calls every morning and evening, must be automated, it's irritating.  No one is there, just dead air. What't the point of that?  I hope it's not a scam.  Perhaps I'll contact my phone company if it persists.

These c**t bags have been calling me for a few months now asking to speak with sam or ida human.

They don't stop calling me and don't know whose they are or what they wanted

Dirty Dot heads calling my #, wanting to speak to the card holder ? I informed the rat worshpper I'm not the person in question and to please stop calling. The scum bags ring my celly all hours including Sundays ,WTF ?

Have been calling my 12 year old daughter's track phone every day, sometimes 15 times a day, even on Easter Sunday! My husband answered it and told them not to call this # because it belongs to our 12 yr old. The man on the other end said "I don't understand why you are telling me this?" in reply my husband told him for the third time that the # belongs to our 12 yr old. someone called back that night.When I called them back they tell me that they do not have any records in there files with this # in it. I am so irritated. I even put the number on the do not call registery about a week ago.

I have been getting calls from this number all week and today.  The only difference is today (SUNDAY) the numbers have a 011 in front of the 8668738592 number meaning it is an exit code from some other country. Every time they call they ask for Dorothy.

My guess is Dorothy faked her number or this place is running some kind of phishing scam. Next time they call they are getting an ear full.  Thanks to all of you and this site for the info!

YES this person calls I he asked me am I jeanie I said yes then I asked hime whats the card number on the card your asking about then he gave me last four on card was right. Then I ask whats the hole number he could'nt give it to me
cause they only have last four numbers but not the rest. then he yelled at me

This number keeps calling me looking for someone I do not know. I have told them several times to stop calling but they do not listen. I don't even know where they are calling from.

Well i get around 6 calls a day from this number, and answer it once a day telling them to take my number off the list, as I am  not Patricia and do not know a Patricia, they continue to call to this day... been around 3 w - 4 weeks now. They tell me evertime they will stop calling, and have taken my number off the list, but the next day the calls start coming in from 8am.
They refuse to tell me who is calling, though i have heard the "applied Bank" story. I wish they would stop calling!

Yeah, it's Applied Bank.  I got myself in over my head with them and now their Indian outsourced call center autodials my cell phone every 15 minutes from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.  I'm a hurricane disaster victim, and the last thing I'm going to do is waste my time spilling my guts to some moron in a call center in India who doesn't know what's going on in the US.  I also work in a outsourced call center myself pretending to be a T-Mobile employee (I'm ashamed to admit that, but at least I'm not a collections agent!), so I know all the things that go on.  I really hate that people of that caliber have access to my personal information and can harass me day and night.

Well, what you do is get one of those 'airhorns in a can' (or a good whistle will work) and when these guys call and you know it is them calling.... well, you know the rest....

They claim they are not telemarketing so they can call. BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are really fun to mess with: I call them back from two different phones and let them talk to each other. They don't know WTF is going on.
Or play pre-recorded animal sounds or other foreign languages. Hee...hee..... okay I know, but I'm retired and don't have anything better to do. It's the little things that get me through a day now.

My wife had an account with them, she paid the card off ,but yet always call the home.   SHe has not had a bill from them in a long time, and it is paid for.  Not sure why they are calling.   Every time when the answer machine picks up, they always hang up, and sometimes when they do say something, they do not even-mention my wife's name

Don't know who this is, maybe a computer or something because they keep calling but once answered I get a dial tone... The mystery continues...

I didn't answer it because it said Unknown.  Came here to check the number out.  Fourth time these people have called me.  The other three times they had a different number and it showed Allied Bank on the caller ID.  I don't know who these people are but I wish they would stop calling this number.

I normally don't answer calls from unknown callers.  This one caught me off-guard.  I answered and heard nothing for a few seconds.  I hung up.  My caller ID on my cell phone showed:  +8668738592.  This was about 9/10/08.  Within two days I got a call from 1-208-376-6285.  A Google search told me that this is a car warranty sales scam.  Just today, I got a call from 1-207-723-4363.  A google search told me this was another car warranty scam.  I'm assuming that since the first caller got me to answer, they have shared my cell# with other a-holes.  In the interim, I have received twelve (12) more calls from +8668738592.  One of these calls left a voice mail.  Unfortunately, I didn't save it.  Nonetheless, it was only partial and said something like: again, 8668738592, and then stated the time.  The voice was that of an older-than-40, white, american male.  Now I suppose someone is going to tell me not to identify the voice as older, because older people (like me) shouldn't be bashed.  OH, I'm also white, American and male.  If someone invades you're privacy repeatedly, It's perfectly OK to ID him.  Being politically correct won't help ID anyone.  PC-ness would tell you that it is perfectly possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.  I shall now pursue reporting to the BBB and FTC.

I get calls at least 3 times a day 7 days a week. I have picked up a few times and I get nothing. When they get my voicemail on my phone they don't leave a message. So finally today when I answered it I did't say hello I said, go ahead and keep calling I will just file a complaint against you a-holes. That was this morning and I have been lucky and they haven't called back. But I just don't think that will stop them. I don't even know how they got my cell number.

I keep on getting calls from 8668738592 asking for a "Terry". It took me a while to realize that someone used me as a reference. This company is trying to get in contact with the person who has late payments or debt.

On my phone, this number always appears as +8668738592, no hyphens, nothing. When I pick up, no one answers. If I don't pick up, they leave a voicemail. When I listen to the voicemail, nothing. All you hear is wind in the background.

I get the calls on my voice mail. I never spoke to anyone. The voice calls are blank. I suspect it is an automated computer dialing program. They are trying some kind of scam. I am on the do not call list. This is my cell phone and all calls come off my allocated minutes otherwise I could care less. I intend to report this number to the government as soon as I determine the correct department.

The calls you are receiving are from a company called Applied Card Bank which is based in the US however they have outsourced American jobs to India and, according to Good Morning America, they are a predatory Credit Card Company that preys on lower income Americans to extract as much money out of them.  They do it barely legally, but still unfairly.  A simple complaint to the Better Business Bureau will help to solve your problem.  I wrote a letter to the Better Business Bureau because I was getting calls from Applied Bank for a woman I didn't know and got a response and a resolution within a week.  I hope this helps, and hopefully we'll put this evil business out of business for good!

I continue to get calls from 866 873 8592 at my place of business.  I have repeatedly ask that my number be removed and it has not happened yet.

I have been getting calls from "Applied Bank" since January 2008.  They also call me every day of the week as early as 8 AM -- even on Sundays!  On the rare occasion they leave a message (I never answer these numbers), they ask "Regina Woodson" to call back.  Not only is that not my name (I'm a man), I've never known anyone with a name even close to that.  Unfortunately, unless some governmental or administrative body decides to intervene, this is the price of technology.  I guess I will just continue to ignore there calls.
