Called two consecutive days 2/1/10 and 2/2/10 at almost the same time of day and left no message either day

Two called received from 866-887-0637, but both times they hung up when I answered.  Ironically, I received a call from someone an hour earlier, with a thick east-Asian accent claiming to be "Jake Herndon", (highly doubtful this is the real name) calling from 866-769-4047 belonging to U.C.B., a credit bureau.  "Jake" refused to provide a street address for his company, or a non-toll number for call back.  He was insistent that I had unpaid medical bills, and I could pay for them by giving him my credit card.  This is likely a scam.

have received 2 calls from this number within 1 hour and both times was hung up on when I answered. If this is related to a Ford dealership, I have NEVER owned a Ford and have not even been looking at Fords in my recent used car search. I was workiing with individuals not dealerships. VERY ANnoyed at being hung up on when I say "Hello".

It's a survey company that works with auto dealers.  I visited a dealer a week ago and they were taking a survey on my experience.

yeah this sounds right.  I did make an internet request last week and received a survey via email to fill out.  I did this on Saturday, yet on the following Tuesday (yesterday) and also today this number called. I actually answered it Tuesday and told the person I'd already filled out the internet survey and didnt' want to go through it again, and that I was busy at work anyway. I just called them back now to tell them to take me off of their list but the call won't go through.  IRRITATING

I am really tired of calls from this number. Don't call me daily and not leave message.

I received a call from this number, with no message. I called the number back and got the following info from a company rep: Their call was in follow-up to an e-mail inquiry I sent to a Ford dealership. They were calling under the guise of "quality control" and to make sure I had no questions, etc. I asked why they didn't leave a message (VERY annoying) and she said they are instructed not to. I said that made no sense if they're trying to follow-up and provide assistance. I asked her what company she works for and she said "Fresh Beginnings." Sounds like they work with a number of Ford dealerships.

called 6:30 on a sunday. no message

I called back this # when they pick up they dont say who they are but when i asked he stodd silent for about 5 seconds and said was calling on behalf of a auto dealership."dont think is collectors because i dont own a car"

I rec'd a missed call from this number, today as a matter of fact. I didn't answer it and they didn't leave a message either.
