Look out, Sharon is back with a new phone number.  She left a message this morning at 9:43 telling me all the same things the rest of you have said.  What a bummer, I am in great need of a job and I live it an area where jobs are far and few between. It really ticks me off!  I miss the old days of mailing your resume in with a cover letter....

A lady named Sharon called and said she saw my resume online and she has a administrated position open and to go online to jobproapp.com and if the position is the right fit for me I can fill out an application and she will call me with an interview.  I don't know where the job is located or what website she got my resume from.  Obviously its a scam of some kind.  Because I didn't post my resume online for an administrative position.

This message is for SHARON.

I am very interested.  Please call me.  The app that I was to fill out would not come up on my computer.  It said, "COULD NOT DISPLAY THIS PAGE!" I tried for over two hours to reach the website.

Thank you in this matter.  Gale Rusu

Got a call from "Sharon" on Dec. 24 - message said she saw my resume online and had a position available.  She gave me the website jobproapp.com and said to fill out the application and she would call for an interview.  What the heck is this?? I've been unemployed for almost 6 months due to my company relocating the work I did to another part of the country.  It is hard enough out there without people like this messin' with us!!!

out an application and if I liked the position she would set up an interview.  The web site is jobproapp.com.  I'm glad I saw everyone's warning before I do anything.

Ditto! I recieved a phone call yesterday on my cell just like many others have reported. It was a pre-recorded message from a woman named Sharon. She stated very similiar information to me regarding seeing my resume online and wanting me to go to their company website and complete a job application.  Upon entering the website, I came across these messages and it dawned on me that yes this most be a scam. Anyway, needless to say I did not complete an application with this so called company and I'm still wondering how and where in the hell did she see my resume online. People please beware of these types of scams wanted you to complete applications that will need very personal information. The number and text that was displayed on my caller ID was "unknown caller / 1-800-737-2319" I wanted to add that piece of information because I noticed that this number was different from the other numbers displayed on this site from similiar calls.

This is a total SCAM. Do not answer and do not go to the website. CareerBuilder and Monster should protect our privacy against this type of scam. I need a real job not phoney calls that take up my time. BEWARE and if anyone knows how to let CareerBuilder and Monster know that someone is hacking into their site, please post.

Well, I didn't get a call, but I got an email. Same exact thing, its saying they reviewed my application and feel I'm right for the job, so go to jobproapp.com and fill out the application. But this time, it was email, and the man's name at the bottom was Larry Minetti, and it included an Orlando address. I found this site and thought I would let ya'll know what the address is, in case ya'll wanna write them a letter and tell them exactly what you think.

When they ask for references the people I entered got an immediate email asking for more information. Total scam and you give all your personal info and that of the people who are your references to the company. Don't fill out this info!

I found a job posting on Yahoo Hot Jobs.  Here's what it said:

"This is an extraordinary, entry-level Human Resources opportunity that will allow you to gain comprehensive, practical exposure to human resources with coaching, mentoring and training support. This is your opportunity to develop your career in the Human Resources field within a highly respected non-profit healthcare organization! Join our team and help us deliver outstanding human resources support to our staff of 400 Community Health Center employees.

Employees are offered superior benefits including comprehensive training, benefits and a starting salary of $41,600. We support all education decisions and are willing to aid you in furthering your education.

Please complete the application below and we will contact you within 3 business days to schedule an interview."

I thought it was too good to be true, because it didn't ask for experience or specific education, but I went to the website and it looked like a legit staffing agency (could hourglassjobs, other emails I've been getting are from Manifest Careers).  I thought it was for Community Health Centers, which is a real organization.  I applied, but first I had to decline offers for education, starting my own business, helping my credit, etc.  The next day I got an email saying I didn't complete the application, and had to verify the information, again rejecting offers.  I never received a phone call.  Then I saw another add on yahoo:

"Our national advertising agency is rapidly growing and looking to hire a full time Human Resources assistant to aid the manager. You will be responsible for the upkeep of records and leading potential employees through the application process. You will also be requesting applicants’ references, conduct online resume searches, and inform applicants of their acceptance or rejection for employment. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must.

Employees are offered superior benefits including comprehensive training, benefits and a starting salary of $41,600. We support all education decisions and are willing to aid you in furthering your education.

Please complete the application below and we will contact you within 3 business days to schedule an interview."

Then I knew it was a scam.  But now I'm getting emails from Larry Minnetti, L. Barclay and Sue Merritt, again wanting me to fill out the same information with offers for education, etc.  I clicked on the link to have them remove my email address but they are still sending me offers.  Uggghh I should have known better.  here are some of the emails:

"A recent review of our records indicated that you have applied for the Human Resources Assistant - Up to $17/HR! position with Manifest Careers . After reviewing your application we have determined that you meet our initial employment requirements.

You may visit our website at the following location if you are still interested in the position: ******

This link will open the application page which will ask for a login to continue. You may log into the site using your id as follows:

After logging in you will be asked to verify information that was included with your initial application.
