Called for collection I don't know what to do

Do not answer! I searched nyc parking ticket website and I find out I  don't owe any parking tickets fees! Plus, I sold my vehicle all the way back in February ! These son of bxxxh just scam telemarketers!

NYC DOES NOT sell parking ticket debts.  THE CITY collects or THE CITY takes your car.  You are either one of these scammers OR you got scammed!

Received a few calls from this number and finally called back. Then I checked out what they told me and its valid. Allied is a debt collection company that is hired to collect money from people who have overdue tickets from NYC and its boroughs. I had an old ticket which I forgot about. I paid it and they stopped calling. Problem solved.

Called and wouldn't say anything when I tried to speak. This call is from Allied Interstate (a collection agency) out New York City. They must be checking to see if I'd pick up as they must be a junk debt collector who just bought a list from another junk collector, and done by computer.

I just got a call from those a***oles today. I was the victim if a rape up there. The cops treated me like s***. I am out in Cali now living in L.A. I told them I would NOT give NYC ANY of my money considering how I was treated. I could also hear the wolf whistling and cat calls over the phone. Thank the Goddess I am out!

Speak to a Consumer Attorney in AK.  It is against federal law to call you in the middle of the night to collect any debt, even if you do actually owe the debt.

I was called by rude people from Allied regarding a ticket that was issued in 2009 for a commercial vehicle they traced me to an apt. I lived in in over 8 years ago in nyc. I have never owned a commercial vehicle nor lived in NYC in 2009. They were very aggressive and told me it was up to me to prove my that it was not me. I can not understand why NYC would use such a service. But perhaps its the joke of a Mayor

These jack***es keep calling us in Alaska about some tickets in NYC. WE LIVE IN ALASKA HAVEN'T LIVED THERE.With the 4 hour time difference they keep calling in the middle of the night, waking my children. I am on the do not call list and reported this and need to make it stop!!! Where can I get help? Will someone stop the madness?
