There is a $10 charge on one of my employees credit card, it shows as AMI Jukebox Music, Grand Rapids, MI.  I didn't come across this phone # until I called the credit card company and they were able to search further.  They called the number and said it was disconnected.  I called and got a busy signal.

Don't know why I got a call at my work number.  Don't even have a credit card!

Happy for this site. I had no clue what this charge was. I bought a bottle of water from a vending machine at an Amtrak station.

this thread was totally helpful - it reminded me that I did use a vending machine last week - this one was at the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM in LA.

Been charged 7 times for $1.75 but never used my credit card on a vending machine.  Cannot contact company to find out more info only required to go to FAQ.  Will have to protest these charges on my CC.

This showed up on my credit card statement with no explanation for a $2.50 charge other than the telephone number. Once I read the other entries on this site, I remembered that I bought a bottle of Diet Coke in a vending machine in the Oklahoma City Airport. They ought to better identify themselves.

Seems like there should be some warning about the charge when you use the vending machine.

YES!!! Don't bother freaking out anyone, unless of course you didn't swipe your card through a vending machine. I just saw these payments and was worried, however, after reading this comment I suddenly remembered the vending machine purchases that match up.

VISA didn't know what the charge was, they said it was listed as "fast food company" but when i checked my calendar, i knew right away that the $2 charge was for a starbucks vending machine.  i wonder why they don't list themselves as something with "vending" in the title.

Have 3 charges. One from the 800# and 2 from USA technologies. This credit card stays at home in a drawer, so I will be contacting my bank about the fraud later today. I haved read on sites about people charging small amts to see if the account is legit and then running up hundreds of dollars in charges. Be careful!

Thanks for all the explinations.  I, too, at first, wondered what this charge for $1.25 was on my credit card statement.  After reading the comments I remembers that I had purchased a diet Mountain Dew before class the other day at my local Community College.  Used the cc to get the soft drink.

$3.00 charged on my credit card, with 866-899-5849 as the transaction ID. Had to think a bit before I realized what it was. My son and I were having a great time at the mall and got our pictures taken in a photo booth. Good memories of me and my little man--definitely worth the swipe :)
