I just received a call too. I'm going to guess that we're getting calls because we all have unlimited data
plans? Just a guess. If you start a new contract, I think you loose the unlimited plan. That would explain
the calls.

Called from 866-948-0687 claiming to be from Verizon asking me to renew my contract, I think it's a scam.

"Thank you for your interest in Verizon Wireless, if you would like to speak to a sales associate..." Contract has been up for 2 years, they keep trying to sell me a phone to renew my contract.
