Received this letter today... signed by Shea Stril.  DARN IT!  I wanted to go on vaca.. :)  I hate cheaters!!!

I received a fake check in the mail from them stating it was a $1298 travel voucher and I needed to call 866-955-1678 to claim it.  It shows being mailed from "Travel Union in Scottsdale, AZ".

The call back number is 866-955-6574.  Didn't call it.

I got the same one today signed by Cali Steil VP.  Pieces of m***e.

This is an air line ticket scam.

I, too, received a letter from "American Airways". The letter states call today at 1-866-955-4493 and is signed by Sue Hall, VP. The envelope appears to be post marked from Phoenix, Arizona.

I got the letter as did Jim. The letter contains the same phone number to call. Mine was signed by Amy Reed, Vice President. They say they have tried to contact me and each time they say "this is the last attempt" to contact me. It is post marked from Phoenix and they can waste all the money in the world on postage as I will never contact them. This is a phishing scam attempting to acquire your personal information.

Received a letter from Phoenix, AZ with my name and address handwritten on the envelope, There was no return address. Instead of the 1st Class, postage pre-paid, printed stamp normally used by legitimate businesses, this was sent with a standard USPS postage stamp of the kind you buy at the post office. Inside the envelope was a letter, with the United Airways logo across the top. The letter stated I had won a free round trip ticket to anywhere in the United States. This was their last attempt to contact me. If I did not respond by calling them at 1-866-955-6213, my tickets would be issued to an alternate. The letter was hand signed by "Amber Hale" with a title of "Vice President". Everything about this screams fraud. Only a fool would reply to such a letter.

J'écris encore ici le même message que j'ai écrit sur un autre site.  Ça fait trois fois en 20 minutes qu'ils m'appellent et ne laissent aucun message.   C'est de la pollution par le bruit de sonnerie de téléphone !!  J'ai débranché mon téléphone pour un temps.

Hier un vendeur de Global sécurité est venu cogner à ma porte pour me vendre un systÈme d'alarme d'ADT. Ils donnent le systeme contre une pancarte en face de la maison. J'ai appelé ADT pour leur demander si cette compagnie Existait vraiment. La réponse selon ADT est...oui. le NEC du registre des entreprises est 1160399144. La dame d'adt m'a parlé de M. Jocelyn Bordeleau comme responsable. Ils font affaire en sous traita ce avec eux depuis 10 ans à leur dire. Ils auraient plusieurs bureaux au QC....tjrs selon-elle, la surveillance est tjrs effectuée par le systeme ADT. Mais pour la durée du contrat, c'est global qui fait le service à la clientèle ....après le contrat tu deviendrais client ADT....ouf ! Bien curieux de voir ça....

This guy claims he is Serge Leduc... lol try again Richard Tyo, also know as Benoit Tremblay.... He uses all these names because too many people are looking for him to get their money back.... There are no CPR classes.... Never was..... He lies so much he actually believes himself... Did I mention he is banned from Quebec for the same scams.... He changes his phone # every 3 to 4 months because he is a coward... and now its changed to 613-700- 5164.... he acts like someone is out there pulling scams and if you were scammed to call him and he will give you free courses... bull crap... He is the scammer! It must be hard to sleep at night knowing that so many people are pissed at you Richard tyo... or whatever your real name is today....

Just received a call from 1 866 955-5838.  Definitely a fraud attempt or nuisance abuse call.  They spoke in French, I in English.  They said I had won a price... I heard female voices in the background... unrelated it would seem to this call... I said Hello a second time, more forcefully.  The person on the line start to create some sort of phony whistling constant pitch sound... and soon the phone went dead.  I hung up.

I am wondering if this was an attempt to extort information from me.  I also wonder if there is a technique, if they hold us on the line, to access electronically, our telephone circuit, hook up to it then use it later to make and charge calls against our telephone number.  I just wonder about that... I am very good with premonitions.

this number is evident.  Is there any way to place a legal halt on their use of this number in this way?

received call around dinner time - did not pick up - never pick up long distance calls I don't know. interesting link to the OPC - mr. tyo sounds like a real winner - hope they throw the book at him.

I've also received a call from 866 955 5838. No one speaks for several seconds then hang up. I called the number back but got a busy signal.

I just received this call as well,looking for someone that has had my number.Asked where they are calling from and they said Ottawa.Funny,shows toll free number but says long distance. I found this site,called that number back and mentioned the names Mr Tyo and Margo and said if you call this number again,I will sue,lets see what happens now.We all need to take action from this crap and end it all now. The company that is mentioned when I call back is Global Security

Mr. Tyo is now running another business, this time in Ottawa where he sells first aid and CPR courses.  For $140 you can sign up and you have three years take courses.  I haven't been able to sign up for the course, because when I call the number to sign up, no one answers the phone.  I requested a refund in writing, through the address provided and haven't had any response.  

He has a woman working for him who says her name is Margo Eitel when she comes to your door she tells you that they called you some time ago to ask you if you'd be interested in signing up for the courses.  Of course you can't remember, but she assures you that you did, she is very persuasive and persistant.

I get calls from this number too, so I called it today.  It answered in French and said that all of their agents were busy but to hold and I would get the next available one.  Call is apparently from ADT Security Systems, if I can believe the message it says in French.  I left a message to ask them to take me off their mailing list.  Hope it works.... I have my doubts.

They called me many times and never left any messages. Today They call and Ask me directly Are you mrs D...? I just said Yes Hello and they hang up on me. I called them back and the answering machine was saying in french that their mail box is full. Who are they? What do they want?

This number has called my home twice claiming to be my local bank and saying my debit card was cancelled.  I had a feeling it was a fraud, so I never pushed 1 like the recording asked.
I hung up and called the number back, but the recording is in French, and I don't speak the language, so I don't know what was being said.
Since they claimed to be my local bank, they obviously have access to who you bank with, but not enough information to access your card.
I will contact the Federal Communications Commission, but since the company appears to be in France, it's doubtful they will be able to do anything.

This #866-955-5838 has called our business about 20 times and continues to call and states that it is a local bank, North West Ga credit union, and that my card has been cancelled. It ask for you to press 1 for the Security Center (all of it is automated) and then ask for your card # and 3 other sources of personal information. When calling this # back, it is in French. THIS IS FRAUD!!!!!!

I don't know if it's the same guy but i'm not taking the chance. I received 3 calls from this number today one right after another. 1st at1103 2nd at 1229 and the 3rd at 1253. Idon't pick up any calls that come in as unknown caller.
3 calls in less than an hour is very suspicious to me. Personally I would definatley stay away from them and definitly not give them any info
