This is Bank of America, it is a service they just started at the beginning of 2009. They send you a text message now if you owe them money.

This is not bank of America, I just spent 4 hours with BoA closing my accounts because I gave the phone # information about myself. I reccomend if you have given them any information you should close your accounts immediately and contact the three credit companies.

You'd be a fool to give any information to these guys. I too got a text message from these folks (70650). Called Bank of America and they said if I only have accounts in my state, then this message wasn't from them.

received message from this number stating that it was a free bank of america text alert and that if I wanted to avoid an interruption in my account to call this number 866 963 1064 by 9pm.
every site i've viewed lists this number as a scam.

They sent me one today too. If it was a legit BoA contact they'd list a name or last-4 of the card number or something else identifiable.

Just got the same text as Student did. But I'm a BofA customer and I know I'm late on a CC payment. They're coming to collect but I don't know if it's a serious threat or not. Account interruption? I'm never late and the one time it happens I get harassed for it? WTF?

Just received the same text and checked all my bank accounts via online banking and everything was fine. tried calling the 866 number from my work number (in case of scam) and it said the call could not be completed as dialed. glad i checked online to find out it was a scam first!

Here is the funny part about it. My service is already interrupted because I am late on the payment. So it really is not a threat.

This was confirmed as NOT a number from BOA.
They are sending texts and emails. Please DO NOT GIVE THEM INFO
