At first when they called I would pick up and not say anything. Don't make any noise and they would hang up after 20 seconds. Since they kept calling I started doing this: "Hello, how may I help you?.....I'm sorry who are you looking for?.....What's the last name sir?......What department are they in?.....I'm sorry sir, I need to know what department they're in to transfer you.....I can't transfer you unless I know what department they're in.....Sir, we are a company of over 1,000 employees, I need more information to transfer you.....Call back when you have all the information." They haven't called back.

All I do was ignored the call.  I don't even answer it.  I only answer the call that I know it.

I returned the call and told them my number is on the DO NOT CALL list.
The gentleman on the other end stated he would put it on list not to call and to give it 24 hours.
If I get another call I will place it on here again.

I agree with mel and pay band together and give them return treatment .  Everyone blog their phones with hang up calls.  If everyone is calling them they can't call out and if they get this long enough they wil stop.  keep in mind that telemark ers do this all them time.  Anywhere you put your info can't be used to put you on a list.  This includes anything you apply for or order or sign up for or anything or anywhere you put your info.  Were might stop this one but there will be another one to take its place.  Were also need to log complaints with B B B to give them bad credit and eventually they will get shut down.

I guess I'm just fortunate.  I use PhonePower.com for my phone service and blocking any harassing numbers takes about 15 seconds for me.  Yes, I just got a call from these people.  I won't anymore though.

These places get your info from web sites you have visited, some sell your information - it is usually in the very fine print of something you have clicked on. Some are pop-ups offering a free IPad, surveys, contests, etc. Please don't blame the person on the phone, they just work there. It is a computer that calls you, not a person. Don't bother to deny that you did not give consent because either you or someone in your home probably did without realizing it.

If you seriously do not want more calls from them, ask to speak to a supervisor and don't depend on them to put you on their "no call" list. Often, the nastier you are the more likely it is that you will be called back.

why called me

Calls multiple times a day-- guy with a deep raspy voice asks my 14-yr old son if he's at least 18 yrs of age and he says no-- guy hangs up.

Its a sham little company that cant tell you anything such as tuition, fees, financial aid availability or anything about college. They have a few colleges they "match" aka sell your information to so you can get even more annoying phone calls from pushy "college advisors" who really have sales experience so they can sell you on the idea of enrolling in there bunk a## colleges they give cracker jack box degrees. Case in point just tell them you cant read since you only graduated the third grade then dropped out to help your family raise the pigs on your farm.

these FREAKS have been calling me in the morning and in the evening after 8 pm Pacific time.
when they called the first time.... i told them i do not need to go back to college, i have a job in the medical field, They said I inquired online...the only thing i did online is search for a job opening in the medical field in another state (thinking about moving) to have a change of scenery, I told them then not to call me...I just called them, told them to stop harassing me , the guy(josh) said he will place my number on their DO NOT CALL list.  We will see, sick and tired of being waken up at 9 am when i work the night shift. .graveyard shift.

SOLUTION FOR IPHONE USERS = jailbreak iphone get App called iblacklist and block them or u can set it up to send a txt reply back to the number it also can make it go straight to your voicemail or accept call and hangup (automaticly) i personaly just set it to go straight to busy signal but yup so far this has helped me day two of peace and quiet :)

File a Complaint with the FTC like I just did.

Got several calls from this number on my cell phone, so I called them back.  Guy answers the phone by saying "Hello?".  No business identifier or anything, so I said "Who is this?"  He says ____ from the Education Authority, someone from this number called and asked about college.  I told him he was incorrect, and not to call my number again.  Then, I reported it to Do Not Call.gov.

they kept calling one time answered and it was a educational adviser if you are filling your name out online its possible if you dnt read anything you are giving consent for them to call. I answered one tie and said i never graduated high school (lie) and he said ok that is one of the requirements for this program. Have a nice day sir. and i have gotten a call since.

This number keeps calling me on my cell phone; 866-972-9317.  I don't know who it is because they NEVER leave a message they just call at all hours and multiple times daily, every day!  I just want to throw my cell phone out of my car while driving 70 miles per hour on the freeway!
