I also received a few of these ANNOYING  calls .... I know that I have NO Bill collectors Looking for me !!!
I just want them to STOP ........ They leave voice mails also on my phone , WHICH is UNLISTED !!!!

This number has call me at lease ten times this week already claiming that he/she is a government agent i think it's a scam !!!!! or ????

They need to be reported to the RCMP. It's not even clear sounds off shore as lots of static.

They keep calling and don't leave a message if you don't answer because it looks like a marketing call. Unfortunately, they KEEP calling - I had to call them!

This is Global Credit. I had to call them and find out why they were calling and they were looking for someone with the same last name. I told them I didn't know the person and they have removed my number from their auto dialing. They also call from 866-535-0621.

Got their call :/ and they're now blocked. Thanks smart phones.

They call my cell once a day. Nuisance caller. Ignore.

Today I received three calls from 1-866-993-1995 so far. Didn't answer it for the first two times, answered just now and the recording says that they are from federal government agency. Claiming that I need to press any button to talk to an agent which I did, but hung up right the way as it sounds too fishy!

I got calls from this number numerous times a week and they always left me with a 2 seconds long voice message.  I am going to block this number. So stupid people would even try to scam via phone:(

Just got this annoying call asking for a Cheu Fu Yeh a few minutes ago. The guy seemed suprise that I don't know this person .. He kept rephrasing his questions. In the end, he claimed they will remove the # off their list.
That should be interesting to see.

They initially called asking for someone named Ali. I told them I didn't know anyone by that name and now this company is calling at least 5 times a day looking for Ali. I emailed them but they are still harassing me. I have no idea who Ali is. I reported them to the BBB and will also find where else to report them.  

I not only get the calls on my house phone I get them on my cell at the same time how? Why?

Number (866) 993-1995 keeps on calling me! I don't answer it because I am thinking its a scam to get my information. I am getting really annoyed by the unknown caller. (866) 993-1995 calls me every day and he is absolutely annoying. They keep on leaving the same message in my voice mail every time. They keep on spamming my voicemail with the same exact message on them!

I get these calls up to three times a day, several times a week....how can these be stopped? So annoying....especially when you don't give out your number to other than friends and family, it's automatically dialed...this should be illegal...why doesn't the CRTC do something about these "people?"

Same here!!  At least twice a day and it IS annoying.

I get so many calls from this number everyday.. Anyone knows how to stop these calls???

This number is harassing me and calling non stop and leaving half done messages on my voicemail clogging it up every day. I have not called it back but sent a text to landline notifying them that they will be charged with harassment and I will be calling the news if they keep it up, hopefully it gets through.

it's a effing american collection company : Global credit, whose tactics are to harass people even if  they are not debtors, call them and harass them back, use some choice words, that's the only language they understand.
they have been found guilty by the alberta government and fined $20,000

These peope need to stop calling my number 5 or 6 times daily. I am fed up with this.

This number needs to be reported as I received numerous calls asking for an individual that I don't know. I spoke to an agent who asked me about the individual they were looking for to which I responded that I do not know who he is and that I shouldn't be called back again. By that time, he had already hung up on me.
He then called back and asked me what I was saying and rudely said that he will no longer remove my number as a lesson to teach me respect. If I still want my number removed, I would have to proper a procedure of faxing an application.
These sorts of businesses should be closely monitored for the safety of people as I have become frustrated about receiving calls that do not belong to me.

Me too, I have Fido, they call asking for a foreign named person . I told them twenty time to stop calling me but they continue, b*****ds!

So tonight I just got a phone call from 866-993-1995, claiming that I need to press any button to talk to an agent, to get my issue ''resolved".  When I did, they asked if this was phone number ya da, ya da, ya, and I said yes. They then asked for somebody by a foreign name that I can't even spell, let alone pronounce.

I told them that this is not it, and that this is about the fifth time that they have asked for this foreign name, each time, I swear it's a different name. They "promised" once again to take me off the list, just like the other four times. The first few times it was the same phone number calling me, this was the first time that they used a different phone number. They are claiming that my phone number, which is with Fido, is a Bell phone number.

I really hope that these phone calls eventually stop, because I don't know what else to do. Is it possible for them to find out my name and other info with my phone number? And if they do, try to send this so called "bill" to collections?

Got call from 905-413-8655... message left to call Mr. Wieber at toll free number 1-866-993-8655. Said: "To avoid any possible further action to occur against you"

I received several calls for somebody else from this number. When I called back, I found out
that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection. I found there website
( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number. They
told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

Calling at least five times a day. I never answer. Call them back and you are put into an unidentifiable cue right away. Idiots. Very annoying.

This number has called me more than ten times in the last week.  It is a message to press 1 for more very important information!!!  It is a scammer
