I recieved a call from a Don Fisher from 876-891-9321 which showed as from Jamaica as well. He said I had won 1.8 Million and a 2014 Chevy Malibu. He gave me some random code #s and names of people and then got to the catch. Said I needed to go to select stores and purchase a greendotmoneypackscratchcard for $395 and give him details on that reciept before I could see or collect the prizes. Had my Wife on the other line looking up and thankfully found these posts! Also called, Publisher Clearing House hotline and they advised it is actually illegal to collect ANY money to collect prize winnings regardless of who it is from. That confirms it right there....FRAUD.

Same thing.  A guy named Bobby Rocks called my husband while we were waiting for my medical procedure yesterday.  He told him he had won $5 million from PCH.  I told him it was a scam, that they don't call people.  He asked the guy where he had entered, and the man said Walmart.  "Bobby" gave my husband the 866-996-5997 number to call and put in a code, and then call "bobby" back at 876-418-8986.  I'm glad that I had a medical procedure, and that my husband forgot about it, as I just looked this up and found this page.  It is a total scam.... don't call the numbers.

I receive a call from 876-567-4278, the man said his name was Dave Sayer, he stated that he was from the Publisher's Clearing House Swwepstakes and that I had won a Merceds and 1.5 million dollars, he told me to go to the Western Union and send $199 to IRS Merchant Bank in care of Howard Hamilton...I was hesitant, so I begin to ask questions, I asked was this a scam...he said no, but you have the right to refuse the prizes...first, I have never entered this sweepstake, so how could I ever win...I called the number back a lady answers the phone saying PCH, I gave a fake name, she says we don't have your name listed, when I asked for Dave, she said she needed my name...then I began to tell her this was a scam, she argued back telling me to get off my line....how professional is that...I told them that God was going to get them for that....I'm glad I had enough sense to look all this up before I was SCAMMED.

Received a call today from Mr. Sean Webb who could barely pronounce that name.  Supposedly from Mega Millions.  I won &750,000!  David McCray was a UPS delivery agent and would be at my house in Cary, which is not where I live, to present it to me with (2) armed federal agents.  And the company attorney was James West.  And my Powerball winnings was $750,000.  First, he was from Mega Millions then PCH publishers clearing house, and finally from the Powerball office and something about a raffle.  Gave me a check number, package number which was a telephone number and a confirmation number which had my number in it.  Then he started talking about Greendotmoneypackscratchcard all one word.  And how he could give me 99.9% of the money but I had to give them the .1 percent first before delivery.  I hung up then, but should have kept them on the line just to hear more of the bs.  This guys accent was so heavy I could barely understand him, but I was suppose to believe his name was Sean Webb.  I don't know how folks fall for this.

Got a call from Donald Tayer, (866) 996-5997.  He said I won a car and 8.5 million dollars.  I said I was busy; he tried to call me back 10-15 times, but I just didn't answer.  Got home, found these sites on the internet, had a good laugh, and when "Donald" called back, I got to mess with his mind before he hung up on me.

Got the same call and told to call the same number.  Michael White told me he would call me back in 5 minutes, haven't heard from him.   Told him it sounded like a scam and he told me to believe in God and my dreams.  Called police department and they told me to call the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357 and if they get enough complaints they will shut the number down.

My Mom got a phone call today about her winning 1.5 million dollars and a 2013 Mercedes Benz. The man, Mike Jackson who sounded foreign, gave her a confirmation number and then preceded to tell her that she had to get a green dot card. She can't remember him telling her to put any money on it but after researching the 1-866 number, he told everyone to put "X" amount of dollars for fees or taxes. She remembers that he asked her for $3500...then to $2500...then to $1500 and so on. I called the sheriffs office and reported it...which there is nothing they can do other than tell you it's a scam...went online and read where there a TON of people that are being harassed by this person. His name is Mike Jackson but he also goes by Michael Anderson, Michael Manly, Bob Walters, Mike James, George Williams, Mr. Fisher, John Brown, James Freeman, David Washington, George Nicholson, David Lee Trimm, etc... He called back and I talked to him. He was very rude to me and told me that I just didn't want my Mother to win the money. I asked him if he was STUPID because THIS is MY home phone number and MY home! He hung up...go figure! LOL

Just received a call letting me know I had just won $485,000 and was instructed to call1-866-996-5997 with a verification number by a heavily accented Peter Jackson. As soon as I heard I needed to get a Green Dot Money Pak card my internal alarms went off and I informed Peter that I only had $20 to get me through next Friday. That is when I started my search and found this. Now I feel really cheated ...... did they run out of Mercedes'?

Prank Call
Yep, just got a call on my new Google Voice account saying it was "John Benjamin" and I was second place in Publishers Clearing House. I won $3.6 million plus a BMW. Said I could call 866-996-5997 to confirm it was legit and then call him back to claim my prize. Luckily I googled this 866 number and confirmed it's a scam. A few minutes later John Benjamin called back to see if I'd called yet. I said I was actually doing my research right now and discovered he was a scam and remove my number from his list. He hung up immediately and I continued writing this post!

My 14 year old daughter received a call on her cell from an unknown number. Man with an accent stated that his name was David Sawyer with PCH and that she had won 1.5 million dollars. Became belligerent with both my daughter and son (cussing and what not at the both of them) before they brought the phone to me. Man became agitated when I asked him questions (such as name and how he got this number). When I told him that I was hanging up and calling the police he began cussing at me and told me that "they" were on their way to my house and that they were going to stab all of our (explicative) eyes out.

Same thing.  Big Cash, Big Car, big bunch of bologna. Guy said his name was Peter Black, but accent so strong, I could barely understand him.  Said I won Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes and all I had to do was call a number and confirm that I wanted the money and a car of my choice.   I checked out the number that I was supposed to call with confirmation number to ensure it wasn't a number that would charge me if I called it.  Wasn't.  Called out of curiosity, knowing it was most likely a scam.  Told me I had to come to an event bearing a ticket I would receive in the mail and a photo ID.  Same dude then called me back repeatedly, over and over again, even though I would just pick up phone and put in back on the cradle.  Evidently he thought I was on a cell phone.  Also didn't even have my name correctly.  Thought I was female named Betty!  I am pretty sure Publisher's Clearing House doesn't call from India.  Wonder if my Lamborghini is on its way?

I guess same call, same guy.   Delivery, he was from UPS to tell  me what documents I needed to claim my check. I said if it was indeed UPS they would leave a sticker on the door and I would go pick it up.  Of course, Mr. Washington had a heavy accent.  Told him it was garbage and not to call back. Of course he did and gave me 866-996-5997 with a pin number I was not to share.

They are getting smarter...I was just called from a 'No Caller ID' number and spoke to a man with a horrible fake accent saying his name was David Moore and that he was from Publisher's Clearing House and I won $1M and 12 coffee cups from Walmart.  He never said my name or asked my name (I wouldn't have given it to him anyway).  He asked me to confirm my number which I thought was dumb because HE called ME.  I told him it was my number.  I asked him how he got my number and he asked if I remember buying a Power Ball ticket on November 14.  I said no because I never EVER bought a Power Ball ticket.  He asked me if I live in Honolulu, Hawaii and I confirmed that I do (easy to tell because of the area code he called).  He gave me some information like a number to claim my money, the customs office number and his contact number. He asked me if the number he called was my cell or home phone number so I said cell.  The whole time on the phone, I'm sounding skeptical so he asked me if I was taking him seriously and I replied, "Well, it's unbelievable."  I told him I'd call the number and hung up.  I did not call the number, but quickly got on the internet and searched the customs number he gave me which was 866-996-5997.  You have all confirmed for me that it was a scam so thank you to YOU and the INTERNET!  Everyone, please be aware and always think about YOUR SAFETY.

I got a call from phone No. 876-314-5975, Caller ID Kingston, Jamaica. The name the idiot gave me was Benjamin White. After his spiel about how I had won 2.5 million from a  spin-off of Publisher's Clearing House, and a new Beamer SUV, he advised me to go to WalMart or Walgreens or CVS pharmacy and buy a Green-Dot card for $1100. then call  866-996-5997 and give them the no. off the green-dot document, and to give them the code no. 215429.  I agreed.  I had an errand to run (NOT to buy a green-dot card) and while I was gone he called back and talked to my wife, giving her the same spiel and wanted to know if I had gotten the card.  She told him I was still gone.  He also promised to throw in a lift and a handicapped scooter for my wife, (who IS handicapped), and to have them installed in the Beamer.
After I got back, he called back, and asked me if I had gotten the card and called the number, but I told him that I hadn't had time, and could I just give the number to him.  He agreed, so I made up a 14 digit number and gave that to him.  He wanted to know how much it was for, and I told him it was for $311. as he had instructed (he had said $1100.). I had a call waiting from my doctor's office , so we disconnected.
A half hour later, he called back and told my wife that the number I gave him was one number off, and could she please give him the right number, but she advised him that she didn't have access to the card, and to call back when I got home.
When he called back, my daughter answered the phone and told him that she was with our city police dept., and would he please stay on the line so she could have the number traced to verify that we had really won the 2.5 million.  He hung up, and hasn't called back.

Elizabeth Taylor and Attorney King are another few names given for this Jamaican Scam.  Never ever do you have to give money (Green Dot Card) to get money.  No you don't have to prepay the taxes.  The sad part is PCH is aware of this and the use of their name.

Well  I won $1,500,000, so I guess I won more than some of you.  Ha, Ha!  His name was Martin Henry with a Indian accent (Dot not feather).  He said I entered Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes back in 2010, that's nice.  Not likely.  I just had some fun and strung him along.  Just have some fun with it.  After all he called me and wasted my time, I can at least return the favor.
