I also just received a call from this phone number in reference to car warranties. in Houston it appears that it some type of scam.

I had just gotten out of class when I recieved this call, answered it without looking at the id, and immeaditly hung up.

Yeah, i also have the same issue, for some reason this number called me. I was actually tryin to find out the area code, b/c i don't no anyone with this number and instead i found this site. The question is y r we recieving calls from this number??

This is my 11th call from this number, i never answer it due to not knowing who it is, googled it and found this thread, very annoying considering this is a work cell phone!

How do we block stuff like this?

Same thing, on my cell, "car insurance about to expire", number disconnected when i called back.

Just got that call. I'm in Southern California. Looked up the number (reverse phone lookup), and guess what, says it's listed to Ethel Chism in Arkansas.
