These people calling from this number and also 773-312-5364 and 312-473-0911 and 872-588-4390 are all from the middle east with the strong accent and they will cuss you out and use extremely vulgar language. I will be reporting them any time they call. I don't appreciate being told to "Suck my d**k" as he told me to do and he also told me to "f**k off" and said "f**k you" multiple times. He also told me I was illiterate when I asked for someone that spoke English. I'm extremely mad and this has got to stop. They said that I applied for a loan and that is how they got my information, which i clearly didn't apply for anything. If you back talk these people at all they will get very nasty with you.

Called to tell me I had been approved for a loan. From reading previous posts, this is the same guy.

The callers had a strong accent  which was hard to clearly understand. The first time it was a lady who asked for my husband by first name. I said I was his wife, may I help you. She said we were approved for a 5,000.00 loan. I said we did not ask for, apply for, nor do we want a loan. She said it doesn't matter, you have been approved. I then hung up the phone. With in 10 minutes the call came in and it was a man asking for my husband by first name, stating we had been approved by his company for a 5,000.00 loan. I told him we did not apply for a loan, and do not want a loan. I said, You must have the wrong number. He said this is the right one. I said no this is my number. He said Okay, I will take the number off the list. I said thank you and hung up.

This man called me today and asked what I was doing and where I was. He was insistent that I told him what I was doing and where I was. He asked for a name that was the wrong name and when I told him he had the wrong number he kept asking me obscene things. Total creep and obviously this accented man was a scam guy.

Same thing.  strong Indian accent and told me that my loan for 5k was approved.   I stated that I did not apply and they hung up.   WTF?

this number calls at least once every day to my business. When I answer there is just silence on their end (except for some background noise of people talking - probably other callers) . Very annoying. Usually I don't answer the phone when the caller ID is unknown or some number I don't recognize, but since this is a business phone I have to take the time to answer or check the caller iD.

Gettin repeated calls from this number. Every hour for 5 hrs. Good thing I NEVER answer any call from a number I don't know!  Never leaves messages. OBVIOUS!!!!!   Blocked the number. People are idiots

Called my cell yesterday at 12:32 pm PST and showed up as location "unknown." I answered but there was no one on the other side. They hung up after 5 seconds. I had 6 calls like this in the past 24 hours from 3 different numbers. Needless to say, all have since been blocked.

Fourth call today from a different number, never leave a message, but according to posts for all the numbers it is some loan scammer.   I have not applied for any loans.  

This number is calling me 4-8 times a day.  I have only answered once and they said I'd been approved for a loan (of which I've never applied).  I asked to be taken off the calling list and they continue calling.  They are disturbing my day to day at home and work.  

PLEASE STOP THEM!!!

I've gotten several calls from this number and about 20 others at different times from various #'s I don't recognize, so I don't answer the phone.  I'm on the Do Not Call Registry, but it doesn't seem to do any good as these call keep coming thru.  

Well, what options does one have to defend themselves against intrusive callers?

? The Do Not Call list (Federal or State)
Works, but is effective against ONLY "legitimate" telemarketers.  Political callers, surveys and some other callers are exempt.  Scammers ignore the DNC list.

? NoMoRobo
A system offered by some telephone providers, to help automatically block robocalls.  Google "nomorobo" to see if it works with your phone provider.

? Shouting, screaming, swearing at the caller
Nope.  Does not stop calls.  May make you hoarse, and will disturb nearby people.

? Call blocker app, device or service
Could be a good choice (even though the scammers can use fake phone numbers), and some apps are free!

Your phone provider may also offer blocking services.  Check their web page for information.

If you cannot use any of the above defenses, then:
? Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
? Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
? If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

This number calls 5-10 times a day I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize the machine picks up and the caller hangs up.

I wish activities like this would cease its rather immature

same thing man calls MY cellphone and asked to speak to my husband, when i asked him if i could take a message he rudely said no and i said well bye then and disconnected the phone

I have received 12 calls from this number for all means stop calling me.

Calling me from different numbers as well. I have them block, It does not stop them. I have blocked so many number this has to stop.

These calls are making me run out of patience.....I have received multiple calls in the past few days, they never leave a vmail

8th call today all from different fake #'s. I won't answer anymore. Because when I did in the past they were always indian accents. Makes my blood just boil because they won't take no for and answer. I just avoid them and block the call. Yet they just route the call through a different #

Has called me say 20 to 30 times in the past 2 days. .

This is one of a long list of numbers that call me ten or more times a day. This is harassment. If someone stays on the line long enough to speak with they just talk over you and then start yelling. Harassment plain and simple. wish something could be done.

I'm tired of this #calling me do something

Several calls from this # re: a class action lawsuit re: vaginal mesh surgery. Told them several times we are on NO CALL list and to purge our #. They called 4 times yesterday and call daily. We want it stopped

Someone calls from this number at least 10 times a day.  The individual has a strong accent. I can't understand what he is saying until he starts using obscenities with me.  We have asked several times for them to take us off the list, first nicely then firmly, to no avail.
