called on 01/05/10 at 6:47 pm Did not leave a message.  I am on the DO NOT CALL list and I'm tired of getting these calls on my caller id with no message left.  Do not call me unless you leave a message....

Received this call last evening.
When I saw thw number on caller ID I hesitated, but picked it up.
When the recording started I hung up.
I called my credit card company this morning, and was told that nothing at all had occured with my account that would have warranted a call from anyone.
Where's the government no-call screen?

Some sort of scam. I pushed 9 and was asked "Do you owe more than $4000 on your credit cards"? When I said no, they hung up.

these people really need to stop bothering people by calling especially if one is on the DO NOT CALL registry.  I don't need a bunch of useless numbers on my caller id every day.  Or when I run to get the phone and it's unavailable, if you can't tell me who you are, then don't call me....  I think all 800/866/877/888 numbers should have a name when they call someone.

This was a "credit card" call... I think they were trying to get info from me. They didn't mention any specific info about my account. They asked me to press 9 to be connected to someone who would lower my rates. It sounds like such a scam.
