My smartphone said he was calling from South Korea. He wanted to know if I was interested in going to college.

I got a call from the number of 56-875-589-1027 (Chile #) today from The Department of Florida Investigations, a guy stated on my voicemail his name was Officer Eric Parker, (585) 322-1126 (New York #).  He was calling me for allegations for Fraud, Perjury, Money Cheating.  It was a call about a debt I owed and he stated that he was an officer for the Florida Department of Investigations. I am concerned about these calls I am receiving.  I tried on several occasions to return the call but the phone never rung, it would just hang up.  I then tried returning the longer number and my caller id on my phone said it was a number from Chile.  What is going on with these people.  Why so much scamming.  These people are praying on innocent working people.  I know times are hard but this is rediculus!

Hey, I started getting these calls a couple of days ago. Today he called again and I told him to blow me, needless to say he got mad and hung up. So I decided to call back the number he left on my voicemail. And again I asked him to suck my d*** while I had a room full of people. We started laughing while he was still on the phone. He got pissed and called me a mortherf**ker and hung up. So I tried calling back again ang they blocked my number. Win for me. HAHAHHAH

just got this call from 568755891027 and said to call back TO 347-578-9319 but the funny thing is that the call came in at 12:56 and the voice mail said 1:36 had a very heavy accent.i did file a report with the FBI BECAUSE OF MY INFO HE HAD.OH BUY THE WAY HE USE THE NAME LOGAN WOLF.BEAWARE SCAM SAME GUY WHO HAS BEEN CALLING ME FOR THE LAST 6 MONTH GET A LIFE

THE SAME PERSON KEEPS CALLING ME FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER AND A DIFFERENT NAME. I KNOW ITS BS. I JUST ANSWER AND  HANG UP. SOMETIMES I GET REALLY FRUSTRATED, I CURSE THEM OUT. THEN THEY WOULD CALL BACK AND SAY FU. I JUST SIT HERE AND LAUGH. SUPPOSEDLY IM BEING SUED FOR A PAYDAY CASH LOAN I DID NOT RECEIVE. THEY DONT EVEN SOUND LIKE THEY WORK FOR ANY LAW FIRM. ALL I CAN SAY IS CHANGE YOUR NUMBER OR JUST IGNORE THEM.

They call me and they try to sale education. They change reson to call! It is a scam!!!!

Got a call from 875-589-1027 well after business hours, so I answered, just for funsies.  Got foreign woman who could not pronounce my name (and she used my maiden name; I've been married for a year), and said she was from "Debt Solutions."  I told her, firmly, that she -was- speaking to me, but that she was no longer allowed to do so, as I am on the DNC list.

yes the same thing is happening to me. I went to the police and then called my Payday debt solutions and they said to egnore the calls that they would stop.  they are calling contact numbers and my work its awful!

I received a call this afternoon while at work. The number that showed in my caller id was +568755891027. Strangely they had all of my information, social security number and all. They told me that there was a lawsuit against me, or in my name. When I refused to verify my information, and questioned the lawsuit, I was then transferred to some fake attorney. These men were clearly of African Descent, as I could hear a definite Nigerian accent. The fake attorney told me that I had applied for a payday loan with cashnet, which I had about two weeks prior. I had received no funds and gave up on payday loans altogether. believe this is where these people are getting our information from, payday loan apps. I am getting ready to contact cashnet now to see if they have anything to do with this scam. Will update later.

This is person is bothering me saying that they have a lawsuit against me and they are also calling my job, I work at a bank and I can't have those type of phone calls, what can I do?

I also received a call from this number.  The guy spoke with a foreign accent and said he was an Officer John Jensen/ or Jenson and he was with the Dept of Fraud.  He wanted me to confirm my SS#

Just got a call from this number +56-875-589-1027.  The guy spoke with a foreign accent.  He said his name was an Officer John Jensen and he was with the Dept of Fraud.  He said that there was a case filed against me in the New York Courts with the SS#.  He said the number and wanted me to confirm it.  I just told him if he has any type of court orders that he would need to send them to the address on file but I could not confirm whether or not that SS is mine.  I told him not to call my number any more.  

Although this is a new number but the guy and the background noices still sound the same.  I haven't heard from them in about a month or two.  So, now they are back at it.  If it is a litgit case or claim then they would have already mailed paperwork.  This is a scam.  I am really tired and these darn calls.

got a call from 568-755-891027.  They had a court order to arrest someone here and wanted the employer to know.  Person was speaking with a foreign accent and not making any sense. They'll go away eventually I hope.

Good to know same thing is happening to me right now, I have had my number for years and didn't want to change it I used privacy star my friend told me about once I downloaded it they tried calling and it blocked it then they starting using 10 different number to call from but I blocked all of them within 10 minutes 39 calls were blocked. I wrote down all the numbers they called me from and filed a complaint with the FBI- Interent Crimes I received a complaint reference number to track whats going on, and they actually left me VM saying he is an officer and I am being sued and my SSN is being sued, not sure how you sue an SSN but ok... thanks for this it's really helpful!

Been getting the same calls also for about 4 days now. Have several different numbers 825-892-2389-11,413-849-5832-91 and just ten minutes ago 568-755-8910-27. Its the foreign speaking people from the other numbers. Stating i got a cash advance placed in my bank account. So I call them on it because the account isn't even a month old an I have the statement in front of me proving I'm being honest. When I tell them take it to court and hang up they call from a different number. So when they do ill just ppst the new number.

Same story, but with an Ashley . i know an ashley but i highly doubt they're talking about . i mean me and ash are both 15, what would be doing calling foreign scammers?

I'm thirteen, and i didn't give my # out for anything. but just today i got like 6 calls all coming from 3 really weird numbers. i answered.. beause i didn't know better and the reception was really really fuzzy but i could still kinda make out what they're saying . something about a girl named Ashley.. and something sensitive . i just said wrong number and hung up. they kept calling.. so i just turned off my phone . no  more calls s o far.

This number called me, along with several other numbers.  I never answer weird numbers that I don't recognize.  I figure if it's important, they can leave a message on my voicemail.  If they don't know my name, they won't learn it from my voicemail because I have it set to just say my number.  They have not left messages on my voicemail.  This happens for a couple weeks after I put my cell phone number on some online form for something.  This week I felt I had to put it in the form for car insurance.  Never again!  My advice:  never answer these calls.  Let them leave a message and don't call back.  No matter how many times you tell them to take you off their list, they don't go by American rules.  They don't care about our authorities and are somewhat out of their reach/authority anyway.  So just don't put your real number on anything anymore.  Make up some fun one that you can remember for everything, including those grocery store club deals. Got a call from this number asking for lisa mccall don't know who it is! also call a call from two different numbers asking for something but i couldn't really understand her! Just hope they dont continue calling

I have read through the notices, and questions here because I have been searching out this phone number (56-875-589-1027). I have been plagued by strange 'collection agencies' who have been threatening me with suits, garnishments, attacking my disability, etc., etc., etc... one 'group' claimed after a return call, that they did not have an account on me- yet continued to call, every day. Asked to verify my Social Security. This number (above) continues to call, and I don't know anything about them, either. I agree with the statement made to challenge them - do not confirm information! If they have confirmation, they have your "I.D.", and then you can be in some real trouble. If it is a reputable company, they will give you their name, location, and a clear contact venue - that can be researched on the internet.  Let them threaten - it is just a fear tactic! Give them nothing. If they are real, arrangements will be made to legally collect a debt, such as identifying who they are, what the debt is, when it originated, and how they have come to be responsible for it's collection. Don't confirm anything if you don't know who they are - a reputable company will have patience and not try to scare the crap out of you. Tell them you will contact them back, after you have validated their claim, and see what their reaction is. Let's keep our heads on straight, folks. Let's not panic. Let's fight back.

The DA suggested just that_when I tell them they are being recorded by request of the DA and attorney general, the calls usually stop but another number will crop up.  I have been called from Matt, Mash, Kevin(many times), John, Violet, Angela etc. Some with such a thick accent you can't understand their name and they can't pronounce mine. I wish there was something to do but there isn't.

These are people who, I have been told by our district attorney,  are calling from out of the country, probably India. I was excited when I saw this long number. I thought someone had slipped up and called from the country of origin. I have rec'd calls from 911 stating it was a deputy state sheriff, if I do not respond I will be arrested for fraud in 12 business hrs. There is no state sheriff office in Oklahoma. I have been scammed for over 3,250 because they threatened me with my ss, taking my children, prison time, fines etc. I have never been arrested in my life. There is another number 413849583291 right after the other number. 0000 has also shown up and weird 5 digit numbers. They prey on people who have loans. None of the money I paid, not a cent, went toward the bills I thought I was paying. I am paying now thru reputable companies. These people buy accounts and then scam for money. The only alternative is to change your number;bc they are operating from out of the country with prepaid phones they can't be touched. The good news is they are lying about what they can do. They don't leave me any messages anymore either;just call any time. It makes you a nervous wreck.

i also got a call from this number almost everyday but i did not answer the calls because i dont usually take calls that i didnt know the numbers. since i searched this number and read about their calls from this number too.. how can we stop them? if this is really a scam we should stop them.

Wouldn't talk to anyone when I wasn't at home

I got the call from this weird numbers like 568755891027, 825892238911. Another call from a blocked caller saying that he is calling from dell & my home computer has damaged data files that can corrupt my hard disk & so i should follow their instructions & give them the control for my computer. I had a similar call about 6 months ago when i was not aware that this is spam!! I just got lucky that time and I found the guys questions really fishy!!
Now i just have a fixed reply that I have both software 7 hardware warranty from Dell and so I will contact dell myself as and when I will face some issue... The guy gets so irritated & hangs up..

I think yours is close to my strange phone call. Fraud against my social security number. And they are in California. Couldn't get the name of the company. Did not like me to ask them any questions.
