I was left a message from a "Jack," and could not understand his last name-sounded like "Melo" ("e" sounding like the letter "e"-not silent).  It appears that his accent is of Arab descent, but then he also, sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger in "The Terminator"..."do not disregard this message"--if you have seen the movie or even listened to Schwarzenegger..you can relate to the sound/accent.

The incoming call came from 875-820-6274 (caller id), which sounds like a cell call from the voicemail that he left.  When I try to call it back, it tells me that "my call cannot be completed as dialed."

The voice mail that I receive from dialing 951-707-4047 (the number that was left for me to call back--"immediately"), I get, "the user's mailbox cannot receive any new messages".  It sounds like there are many of us across America trying to call this number and I guess a few have got through--I, personally, was unable to leave him a my preferred "nice" message." Area code 951 is located in California.  Guessing the biggest victims is the one who answers the call or calls back immediately.

This guy appears to be a scam artist.  He is focused on talking about laywers, court, jail and family  prosecution to make you tell him personal info from what I am learning.  I have researched this mostly from what I have have from just putting in both of the numbers (cell and land line) alone via Google and doing a search.  There are a lot of compliants and curiousity--that is why I am posting this here.

He did call me on my cell phone.  This is scary since I do not have my number published.  He has to have hacked into a website where I pay my bills or into a company that I do business with.

OK, I am done talking.  Be careful and just put the number that you are curious/worried about into Google or another search engine and you can normally tell if there are complaints/concerns about "strange" calls.

This phone #875-820-6274 is being used as a scam number trying to get money out of us from a payday loan that my daughter was suppose to owe. please be aware of people with thick Indian accents. These people are trying to say that you will be arrested immediately and a lawsuit has been filed. just be  on the lookout for anyone using this number. If you try to call this number is in not a working number. Call the police and report this.

The caller called my cell phone. This number didn't show up as one I knew, so I didn't answer, I let voice mail pick it up. The caller had a heavy accent, sounded like he may be of a middle eastern decent, He said to return his call the second I received this message, or my attorney. He said to contact his division number 831 607 4532. I knew just by the tone in his voice that it had to be a scam, I googled the number and found multiple sources that have complained about similar calls. He said at the end of the call that he wished me good luck with my case if I didn't call him back. As with other messages I've read, it was very loud in the background that the caller was calling from.

I received a phone call on 11 Feb at my work number for an individual who spoke broken english. There was a lot of background noise and he told me he was representing a legal office, but wouldn't give the name...after a while he states it was Landfill Associates. He proceeded to tell me there would be legal action taken against me due to failure to pay back a cash advance loan.  After going back and forth with him and telling him I did not know what he was talking about, he finally hung up.  It is quite scary because he had a lot of my personal information.

I also just know 01/18/10 at 2:50 pm central time . like all their was lots of background noise the person who called had a accent , and prononced  my name wrong , also he said that he was calling from a law firm and that someone had filed a complaint against me ... so i asked who was the persone that filed the complaint,,and he told me that he couldn't provide mi any information unless i told him all of mi info... i told him since he counl'nt provide mi with the info i asked i was going to call my attorny and porvide him your phone# and explain to my attorny whats the complaint about ..and he hunged up ... i advise all to do that

Just recieved the same call from the same number as the rest on this site. I must be lucky because they only called once so far. I just hope that know one gets scamed by these people. Would be nice if a major tv station did a public service anouncement about them as apparently this has been going on for a couple months.

Received same info...but was told to call back a number at 415-200-0203...gave them my attorney's name and info and told them "now..GOOD LUCK TO YOOOOUUUU"...and hung up!!!

I recieved a call from 875-8206274. They pressed me out to verify personal information. Which I know is fraudulent because if they have it then wht they need to verify it for. My husband thought that I took out the loan until I told him I didn't and that thesse people were calling trying to run something. Thank God that people like ya'll have written blogs about this. My husband stayed on the phone and played with them. Which was hilarious. He asked them about the women in India and did they have any strip clubs. HE kept hanging up and they kept calling back I guess they got a kick out him too.

i also got a threatening fall call from these people..mines name was kenny spencer...american name but the guy didnt speak clear english.when i returned 1 of their phone calls he went from keeny spencer to roger simpson...
 But they even went so far as to call my mom and threaten her,she has a bad heart and after a few phone calls from these people she told told them.look sir i will contact my daughter but please i have a bad heart and you ar eupsetting me.The caller said i dont care if your daughter does not call us we will not stop making your life hell.my caller id showed the # as 017 or something like that

Add me to the list.  My call from that number came in at about 510pmET on my cellphone while I was shopping yesterday (Friday).  I could barely understand the man because of the heavy static and his even heavier accent.  At first he said something about a lawsuit over a payday loan.  That's all I could really understand so I asked him to repeat himself... then he went on to say there would be two investigators would be at my apartment on Monday.  It was almost impossible get a clear conversation but I again asked him what he was saying and repeated it.  I asked him more than one for the name of the company I supposedly owed this money to.  He tried to plow through his "spiel" until I yelled at him to shut up and listen to me and give me an answer to my questions.  He finally shut up and told me to call his supervisor.  Twice he said they'd be coming to arrest me on Monday.  I am not stupid but I was nervous on the way home because I'm thinking maybe there was something I forgot.  Then I thought some more and said wait a minute... why is this thread the first thing I hear.  Why no prior warnings.  Why no letters of demand for payment?  I tried calling them back but the calling wouldn't go through.  When I got home I tried to call the the supervisor he mentioned on that number.  I couldn't get through because the line was constantly busy.  NOT being an idiot, I googled this number and came across this site and several others with similar complaints.  

I guess this is the reverse of the good news scam... the one where you get emails or calls telling you that you've won megamillions in an African lottery but first you need to give them money to process your winnings.  They are counting on you not being willing to risk that this is a mistake and turning over your credit card information so you can pay your debt without further incident.

FBI, Attorneys General, FCC, your local phone company report to all of them.  And one of the first one also lists a website the Secret Service suggested.  I'm going there too.

This is about the 10th time I get this call but this time they didn't use a spoof number like 1-000-00-0000 or unknowen. They did use a different number to call back but they leave the same message saying if I don't call back I will be arrested and that only god could help me now and they had all my bank and personal information.

i recieved a call similar to those ones. a guy saying he was from crime division  and that i would be arrested if wouldnt pay 1500 dollarrs that i owe to cash net. i told the guy that he was a bunch of bu***hit andgo and f yr mother.

I have been getting these calls for weeks, sometimes from different numbers, it is driving me crazy, I just got one from the 875-820-6274# and was told to call back # 559-073-4670, couldn't find that number in google anywhere, but whoever is on the other line said this was my last and final warning and that are sending law officials to my residence tomorrow morning!!  Any suggestions???

I just received the same exact call from this number.  A woman named Kim Brown with a heavy accent called and left me a voice mail, as I didn't recognize the number so wouldn't answer the phone. She stated my attorney or I needed to call immediately to avoid further issues.  Her call back number was 916-236-4569.  I will file a complaint today.

ok so they got thru and called me again...but the number that came up this time didn't even have enough digits in the number..320058313 that is what showed up on my caller id...my aunt answered pretending to be me and only speaking spanish (Since i don't speak spanish lol) and they got frustrated w/ her and hung up...i hope that is the last of them...

sorry don't know how my message got duplicated like a million times..but this person called me back again and left a message same message as before but i noticed the name he left was different i couldn't quit catch the name but i know it was different sounding then what he had left before, i recongized the voice so i knew it was the same guy, but the 2nd time he called and left the message when it came to leaving his name he paused for about 5 seconds before giving a name so that grabbed my attention, i did keep the 2 voice messages saved to my phone..

what i also did was call my cell provider (Verizon) and had the two numbers blocked from my phone..the 875 820 6274 and the 760-300-4000 and have not gotten a call from them yet also my cell provider  had put in a request to their fraud department to look into this matter aswell..hope you guys can have the same luck on having your cell provided block the number..

This man who called himself Nelson David(thick indian accent), left two messages on my cell yesterday. Similar to the others, he threatend me and told me that I or my lawyer would need to call him back on 760300400(not enough digits to be a real number)
. I was pretty skeptical about the whole situation, so I decided to look the 875 number up. Its pretty comforting knowing this has happened to other people. I will definitely continue to save my messages, so I can properly repoort my encounter with these scam artists.

I just got a phone call at 1400 hours from that same number also. he had a medium pitched accent with alot of background noise. He stated his name was dave johnson. He gave me a call back number at 760-300-4000 and stated that if i didn't call back or repay this debt that he would unleash the full effects of Allah onto me which i thought was a little extreme and if this is the case then should i be worried?
