any info?

Who called me from this number. They said they were from Publisher Clearing House.

My wife just received a call from this guy.  After she told him she wasn't interested, she hung up.  He called backed and threatened to kill her.  We reported it to the police.

i have had the same thing happen me i was never awarded any new car but my claim was 205 million dollars and then 308 million dollars when i called them out on it and said anything about the FBI they hung up on. well i hate when people hang up on me so i called them back, they turned off there phones after me calling for two days straight. i had them threating me and telling me that they were going to come to were i live and put a shot gun to my head. they finally left me alone and now they have started again i saved all the numbers i could into my phone, and there are more coming out of the wood works here. i have 24 new numbers and some do match up to what people have been saying. and heaven forbid that the FBI ever does there job i have called them repeatedly about this and all they do is transfer me to someone else. any ideas on what to do

Every day for at least a month an out of area number has been calling for my grandma telling her she won money of a different amount.  Today I answered the phone!  They asked for my grandma and I said this is her.  I asked him for his name and position.  He said his name is Mike James.  I asked him for a number in case we get cut off to contact him.  He gave me a bunk number!  I started cussing and yelling telling him he effin lying give me your real number.  He gives me 1-876-892-2720, I tell him you better effin stay on the line I'm calling it right now!  He answers, amazing!  Game on.  Through out the day he calls me with inconsistencies in the names and ranks of the people that I talk to as well as my awarded amount going from $750k to $250k then back to $750k when I have the western union forms in my hand.  They ask me if I came alone and that they have a team of agents in white tuxedos with a camera crew waiting in a blue mecedes with $750,000.00 in a suit case.  All I need to do is wire $1,600.00 to a place in Micigan and once I have the receipt I will be welcomed by these people who were waiting at the bank for me.  They told me that they can't award me the money and that if I had any questions to call the United States Treasury.  I figure this better be good, low and behold its the number to the Indian guy sitting right across him!  Who tells me he does not work for the United States Treasury.  Since I wouldn't send them the money they refused to give me my $750,000.00!

My experience is practically the same as Karen Goins, of 11 Sept 2010.  I had won a large prize and a car that was going to be delivered to my house.  All I had to do was go to KMart and wire some money to a lawyer in Jamaica for legal fees to have papers filed to get the prize tax free. I also hung up during the conversation, and was immediately called back and told how disrespectful I was.   He ended the conversation by telling me that I was not to tell anyone about this, that the person who won last week had told a friend and has been found dead.  The next morning I had six or seven phone calls, one right after the other, where the caller hung up when it went to answer machine before I could get to the phone.

My response has been to tell several friends, a bunch of folks in the neighborhood, the local authorities, the phone company, and this posting to this web site.

I received a call from this number this morning.  I did not answer it.  I looked at the info from caller ID and this number (876-259-0005) appeared.
I googled the number and I found many sites saying that this number was a "Scam"/ bogus  number.  It is an obvious attempt to scam folks who do know better.................

Caller has called numerous times. Told my father he was with prize claim center out of Las Vegas and he had won $50,000 plus BMW and it was being delivered and all my dad had to do was have cashier check in the amount of $165 dollars when car was delivered. I told them never to call this number again. He called again and I answered and he told me I won $100,000 and a new BMW I informed him that I was turning this number in to the authorities and told him again to never call this number that I know it's a scam. I hung up on him and he called right back and started yelling at me telling me that it was very disrespectful to hang up and that I needed to hear him out. The number shows up on our caller i.d. as Kingston Jamaica. This idiot would call my dad several times a day trying to scam money out of him. This definitely needs to be looked into.
