Our organization has developed a comprehensive report on this company.  The report can be found at this link - http://www.businessconsumeralliance.org/report/willcox-and-dodd-111048877.  This is an advance fee loan modification scam.  Any sum of money you pay them won't be going towards securing your loan.  It's illegal to charge for fees upfront.  We urge anyone who have been solicited or have fallen victim to this company to contact our organization and file a complaint.  It was brought to our attention in February of this year and so far we've already had over 300 inquiries and many victims are coming forward.  We can't guarantee that we'll recover your money, but our complaint information is published (your personal information is hidden) in an effort to warn others about their experience with this company.

We also work with state and federal agencies, but it's up to these governmental agencies to decide on which companies to prosecute.  If they decide to go after these companies, your complaint will be sent to them to aid in the prosecution.  We also work closely with media agencies to help them get the word out about these types of scams.

Do you see all the "busted" posts declaring that this is a scam outfit? Prepayment for a loan is against the law. You need to read the posts on just three pages. Other than that you're one of the jerks working this fraud. Just a test put up their website! Also this toll free number? Is 876-259-2651
Country: Jamaica!

I am working with a company Willcox and Dodd.  They have sent my loan contract to me in the amount of $60,000. I must send them $1,700 for a payment protection policy.  They do have a website and a toll free number.  I have called the toll free number and it seems legit.  I am just worried about sending $1,700.  I contacted them and requested that we have a closing at a local bank where money can be transferred simeltaneoulsy.  I am awaiting there response.  Has anyone heard of this company?

I live in Jamaica and i can guarantee you that any such company IS A SCAM. If you do not have relatives in the island, do not accept phone calls from any number with that area code. I have never heard of this company until i came across this website with these comments (and i live in Kingston). I am actually rather irate that my country is being shed in such bad lighting because of these stupid scams. With that being said. People PLEASE BE SMART!!!. If you have money to pay to get a loan, then you obviously don't need one. I would never pay (not even the most recognized company) any money to receive money. That is just redundant. Also, companies in Jamaica do not use cell numbers to call clients. Our landline numbers would start with (876 - 9## - ####) or (876 -6## - ####) Any other number is likely a cell phone. Also i checked their website, their local address is a real address but i don't know if they are actually there, and they have no contact number on the website. Also our toll free numbers starts with 1-888. Hope my message helps. Please be smart with your money, if you have money to waste on these scams, just send it to me, i will make better use of it... am just saying. :) But seriously, DO NOT SEND MONEY to receive loans, gifts, prizes, rewards, etc.

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.
http://www.att.net/smartcontrols-809AreaCode

Scammers use these number to not only try to scam you out of money, but also sting you with high phone call rates.

When the "customer service representative" told you to call no one but her, it is because she gets a commission based on how much "sales" she generates.

Bradstreet Financial is a total scam. They contact you via phone & email saying you have been approved for a loan, in my case $5k with 11% interest. Collateral payment of $491.07 to secure your loan for 3 months or a car title of a car that 2010 ,2011 or 2012. I spoke with a "loan consultant" by the name of Sebrina Lowe who convinced me that the CC system for automatic withdrawal from my CC for the collateral payment was down, so it would be best to wire the money directly to the finance department but do the wiring as person to person to avoid the high transfer fees. Once they received the money, Sebrina assured me the processing time will take about 4hrs & the money will be in my bank account. LIES LIES LIES!!! Now all I can say about the company is that its bogus & full of s*** because now I have been a victim of being scammed when all I was trying to do was get a loan to get me out of debt & these people at Bradstreet Financial have put me in more debt. Im gone ask for my money back but chances of me getting that back is probably slim to none but I will definitely be reporting their a** & I will make it my business to see that their a** get caught & prosecuted.

Theses peoples are Scammers...anything from Jamaica is a Scam!! Jamaica doesn't have SS# systems to report credit worthiness....therefore how will they report to the USA credit system...my husband is from Jamaica and he says it's a Scam too.....when I went to the website and saw a Jamaica address &phone# I knew  it was  not legit...so ignore that warning if you wish.....but you have been warned

My friend receive a call, saying the she was approved for 5k...says she was referred by some company she applied to and the company will match her to a lender...and this Bradstreet Financing company wants her to send $500 USD..to secure the loan

In addition...look at the company email address..its a free @mail account..like.gmail/Yahoo...if they have so much money to lend...why dont they have their own company domain address.....like @bradstreetfinancing.com or .org ...etc

Badge714......I haven't sent anything to Bradstreet Financing. They did ask for a payment of $491.07 up front for the first three months. They told me that the money could either be deposited into my bank account or I could have a check delievered to me by Fed Ex after I signed the online documents.  There's now way I'm sending them anything. I'll just let them continue calling without me answering and hopefully, they get the hint. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company. Also, does anyone know of any REAL and reputable loan institutions that I could look into? Thanks.

When this goes wrong, & it will, what action can you take against a company located in Jamaica? They are going to ask you for (1)All your personal information & SSN. (2)An advance fee of some kind. If you are in that bad of financial shape that you have to get a loan from Jamaica - you shouldn't. A good con artist never steals money from you, they make you want to give it to them. Look over this web site at the scams coming from Jamaica. What makes you think this one isn't?

I received a call from a Crystal Panton who works for Bradstreet Financing. She basically told me that I've been approved for a $5000 loan. She's explained to me that this company is very legit and not a scam. I've checked their website and everything seems fine. Does anyone know anything about this company? They seem to be based out of Kingston Jamaica. I could really use some answers about this. Thanks.

Evidently I was approved for a 15k loan. They told me I could put up my house or car knowing full well I needed something unsecured so then she said I was to make the 3 months pymts up front or some other lump sum amount before the funds would be secured that same day yet the next thing she said was that my government issued ID had to be sent in to her to verifiy my identity along with my bank details or address if I wanted a check, which would take a few days to verify. (??) I've looked high and low for information on these people and nothing comes up online. I called them up and called b***s*** on the whole thing. I spoke to 2 different people who said in 7 yrs I was the first person to question why they had no web presence outside of their website. Give me a break. A scam indeed. Their numbers are 876.279.9468 877.455.4249
