Just got the call today, identified themselves as Publishers Clearing House. I told them show me the money and the car and I would give them 1200 instead of 600 dollars. The guy would not give up. He even offered to e mail me a copy of the title to the car in the deal!

they called my husband on HIS CELL and he didn't understand what they were talking about so he gave them OUR PRIVATE HOME NUMBER.   THANKS HONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   WTF?        they called FROM:    876-275-1001  CALLER ID SAID:  KINGSTON, JAMAICA !!!!!!!!!!!    I HOPE THESE ARE NOT THE PHONE CALLS WHERE THEY TAP INTO YOUR TELEPHONE AND MAKE CALLS ALL AROUND THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!             THEY TOLD ME WE WON A MERCEDES (YEAH RIGHT) AND SOME MONEY.    I TOLD THE GUY I DO NOT BELIEVE HIM AND THAT IT'S A SCAM.       HE SAID HE WOULD DELIVER THE MONEY AND CAR BY 1 PM TODAY.................THEN HE SAID THAT I NEED TO PAY HIM $599.00 FOR SHIPPING!!!!!!!!!            I TOLD HIM 'SEE I TOLD YOU THAT THIS IS A SCAM" AND I ABRUPTLY HUNG UP ON HIM.                THEY CAN TAKE A FLYING F... !!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesss It Is Awful They Sit Around Trying To Take People Money...

This was a fun call to get! They told me I won a mega monthly prize of $450,000, a new Mercedes Benz, and a pouch full of $35,000 cash.They asked if I would be at my house all day and if I had a driver's license. They then told me they would be at my driveway before the end of the day They then asked me in order to get my car and money I would have to put $500.00 on a green dot. I told them that  if they showed up in my driveway with the car and cash, I would more than gladly give them $500.00 out of the 35k cash in bag and put it on a card. After that statement they hung up! I can't believe these people do these ridiculous scams like this! It was comical to say the least!  I have heard about other scams, but this one takes the cake!  It was the highlight of my weekend!

Somebody calls you on the phone from Jamaica and says you won $450,000 ... and you wonder if it's legitimate (which you can't even spell)???

Tell you what, have your mommy or daddy answer the phone until you grow up.

I got the same phone call today.  Is this legitamate?

They said we won 450 thousand dollars and a new car, they said they would be here between 2 and 3 with a new car on a trailer being pulled by a brown ford truck, all we needed to do was have a green dot prepaid card and ID to show them when they get here, and they will personally take us to our bank so we can deposit all funds into our account..
